☓ This is a semi-literate role play. You will, inevitably, find different definitions of semi-literate, depending on the person writing it, but mine is one good, chunky paragraph. That means about 8+ lines. It just means that you cover more in less pages, and dis-clutters everything. It also means that you need to have good grammar and spelling, including knowing the difference between your, you're, and also their, they're, and there.

☓ When OOC, please use (),[],{},<>, etc, because it helps get rid of misunderstandings with what is and what isn't you and your character. Also, please take any arguments or questions to PM to avoid unnecessary spam and people getting involved.

☓ Cussing. If you read the top of every forum on this site, it explains to keep child-friendly. I'd appreciate minimal cussing and swearing. If you need to, star out the vowels, example: B*tch, Sh*t, etc, but please no very bad or racist words. Hell isn't considered a swear-word.

☓ Always, always follow Tess's rules. They aren't there to be pretty, they're there to be followed. I don't want this RP to be shut down because some people couldn't be bothered to follow them.

☓ Gay, lesbian, bisexual aren't allowed. I'm not against them, it just makes things complicated in this type of RP, because each character has to fit certain things and quite frankly adding sexuality's makes it quite difficult.

☓ You must always listen to me as I am the owner. You must also listen to newton;, because she is my mini-mod. I reserve all rights to kick you out, and you may have a hard time getting back in.

☓ Forms. You need to provide your own form. It helps me to see your creativity. It can be simple, I don't mind.

☓ No God-modding, no perfect characters. Have flaws, guys, please, don't play each-others characters.

Your parents have been taken to the edge of you eating their food, dirtying their house, spending their money, and doing nothing with your life. You've just graduated high school, which means you have no job, money or pastimes. Your friends have all gone to uni, but you can't be bothered. You want to, but it just seems like a waste of time. And then one day, your parents come home and announce you're going on a cruise. It's called the Waters of Youth cruise, and an opportunity for eight adolescents who have just graduated to come and give it a shot, make friends, and create opportunities.

It's decided. Your parents make you pack your suitcases, and off you go. What will happen? All you know is it's three months long, and you'll bunk in with someone else.

Basically, you can have one character. The first two characters will get put in room 1, the next two in room two, and we will start RPing when all eight spots are filled. If they don't get filled within two days of this RP being open, I will allow a couple of people to have two characters until the remaining places are filled. Extra characters will be played by me, but won't have forms... People like cruise staff etc., but I will, however, post a thing on each post for them explaining looks, just in case. This will be updated sometimes, so keep checking!

ɴᴀᴍᴇ - my name is Edward James William Windsor, but most people just call me Ed.
ᴀɢᴇ -i'm 18 years old, and still going strong.
ɢᴇɴᴅᴇʀ - well, last time I checked I was a male, and I can say that I'm not planning on changing anytime soon, if ever.
sᴇxᴜᴀʟ ᴏʀɪᴇɴᴛᴀᴛɪᴏɴ - i'm heterosexual, straight. i perfectly fine with homosexuality, it's just not my personal preference, that's all.
ʙɪʀᴛʜᴅᴀʏ - 19th of July, '94.



ᴇʏᴇs - my eyes are blue just plain blue.
ʜᴀɪʀ - i guess you'd call it blonde, or dirty blonde, depends on the light like all hair really. it's black when it's dark.
sᴋɪɴ - my ex told me it was olive, but i don't what that means, so we'll go with that... it's just skin anyway.
ᴘɪᴇʀᴄɪɴɢs - no, i don't have any piercings. i don't like male piercings much.
ᴛᴀᴛᴛᴏᴏs - one small black one on my right shoulder. it's a little circular Celtic knot, and my parents really don't like it. it's only 4cm in diameter though, and i'm not planning on getting any more.
ʜᴇɪɢʜᴛ - 6 feet.
ᴡᴇɪɢʜᴛ - 196lbs.
ᴏᴜᴛғɪᴛ - this is my sort of style of clothing.



ᴘᴀʀᴀɢʀᴀᴘʜ - i am a generally very trustworthy person. i like to be social, and i don't really see the point of staying at home doing nothing. the only reason i did it this summer was because i had no one to see. i went swimming a few times, though. i like to laugh and smile, and i am very trustworthy. i'll keep secrets as long as i breathe. i like to keep an open mind, but i ma quite stubborn in beliefs and am very good at arguing. i was in my school's debate class, get over it, i know you're jealous. i don't swear much, and i don't like people swearing, but i love food, like any other 18 year old boy. that was probably why my parents sent me on this thing,because they went shopping and then came back after work the next day and it was nearly all gone. yeah, that's right. yeah, that's me. i enjoy photography, but i don't think i'm good enough to make a living out of it. i'm pretty good at riding, i ride a twelve year old eventing warmblood stallion named Solo. i don't think i could make a living out of tht either, so i'll just have to put my head in and think for a awhile.

femme fatale ; femme fa·tale, n. an alluring, mysterious woman, especially one who will ultimately bring disaster to a man.

meet alexis panetta. a glamorous young woman, she could be described as a rebel- she never listens to authority, after all, and she adores danger. she is eighteen years of age, the daughter of an italian man who moved to new york in the 1980s. of course, she was always daddy's little girl- up until she was around sixteen, at least.
when alexis isn't annoying her father by doing reckless things or flirting with men (that are probably far too old for her), she's busy gossiping with her friends- oh, yes, she's a rumour-spreader, this one is. if she hears one little whisper, she won't stop until she's told everyone she knows. her father has sent her on this cruise to teach her some responsibility- and maybe for her to make some actual, proper friends. he probably thinks this because, in any situation, if push comes to shove, she will always put her own skin above others, and unless she's very close to someone in the gang, she'll ditch them all. other than that, she's a pretty care-free girl, and if you have a good sense of fun, she'll definitely like you.
just a few quick pointers on her looks- she has mid-length thick black hair that never really sits still around her head- it's always stuck up at different angles. eyes next; they're dark brown with a mischievous bright spark about them. she's five foot eight inches and she's never weighed herself- the scales always lie is what she says- but she's curvy and quite proud of her figure.
like i mentioned before, alexis is a flirt, and she's never had a serious relationship- she isn't planning on it either. she's having far too much fun being a femme fatale.
