TJ grinned at the compliment. He wrapped an arm around Emmy again, smiling to himself. He quickly turned to her when she threw her phone across the room, "Is it your dad? Or brother?" he asked.

Emmy nodded. "Probably my brother." She sighed, looking down. "I just need my space, and they don't like that." SHe smiled again. "But, the good news is, I almost have enough money to pay for my own apartment."

"Maybe you should at least call, just to let them know that you're alright and you just want some space. If they don't respect that, then ignore them and go back when you're ready." TJ suggested, "I can help you pay for one, if you want."

Emmy sighed. "Okay, I'll call them, and thanks." She picked up her phone, and held it to her ear. "... Hi... Yeah, I'm fine... Sure... No!" She hung up. "Well that go well,"

TJ stood up beside Emmy and wrapped his arms around her, "They're probably just worried about you. Think about it, you've just suddenly gone of to stay at some guys house for a few days, and they haven't even met this guy. I'd be pretty worried if that was my daughter, but give it a little time and they'll cool down when they realize that you're fine."

Emmy put her face in her hands. "They just don't trust me. I've done some pretty stupid stuff in the past, but I'm better now!" She said, her eyes slowly filling with tears. "I just don't know. They said when I got back to the house I'm in HUGE trouble." She sighed softly.

TJ gently pressed a kiss to her forehead, "Give them time to calm down, when you do go back, I'll go with you if you want."

Emmy smiled weakly. "Thank you so much, TJ." She wrapped her arms around him silently, thinking.

TJ smiled, "It's fine." he replied, before taking her hand and leading her to sit down again, "Now lets finish this film."

Emmy smiled and sat down on the beanbag again. She began to fall asleep, then sat up again, rubbing her eyes. "S-sorry."
