"Sure, im fine with coming over, why would I haul hay??" Ed asked, Don't people keep hay in the barns? He thought.

Serenity stood and turned. "Yeah thanks. The water is really cold." She said with a smile.

"I'm just messing with ya," Lauren said as she kept walking down the shore. It had to have been at least 4:00-ish by now. She felt refreshed by the rain, so she let her salty, sandy hair down. She couldn't wait to get back home and go see her horse; she hadn't seen him all day.

Cole smiled. "I bet." He said, then looked out over the ocean, millions of miles of water, he couldn't wait to start swimming.


Ed smiled. "Ready to go?" He asked.

Serenity stepped in again and goosebumps rose on her body. She waded in until it was waist high and went over. "Okay all better!" She called to Cole.

Lauren nodded silently. She'd fallen into deep thought and she stared down the long shore. She finally spotted her sandals and coverup, drenched by the rain and started walking over to them.

Cole chuckled and went out to her, going under the water for a few minutes.



Ed followed Lauren, grabbing his shirt, phone and keys, glad the shirt kept the water off his phone.

Lauren picked her cover up off the ground, getting her keys. "Just follow me," she said as she unlocked her Challenger and got in. She started the car, not caring if it got wet, and pulled out of the parking lot and onto the road to her house.

Serenity floated on her back, gazing up at the sky.

"Okay." Ed said hopping into his car and following Lauren.


Cole swam to the surface and smiled, looking at some kids in the slightly shallower water trying to catch mino's.
