"Where do you want to go?" He asked, pulling back slightly so he could look at her. Scott didn't care where they went, as long as it wasn't some crappy restaurant with bad food. He wanted to take Brair somewhere nicer. It didn't have to be fancy, but he'd rather not go to somewhere like McDonald's. He felt like he should give her a treat, just a little something to show he really did appreciate her despite his actions that might say so differently. Scott honestly felt awful about getting angry with her, especially over something stupid. He likes to tell himself that it's not his fault, that it's his dad's, but he knows that everyone has the ability to change, even if it's difficult. Scott was doing a bit better; he was able to hold back over some of the smaller things, like the phone call interruption earlier. He still wasn't in the place he wanted to be and still got mad enough to strike Brair, which he hated about himself.
