Melody smiled as he opened the door. He was always a gentleman, just one of his many amazing qualities. She settled into the seat, pulling her seat belt across her body, clicking it into place. "I don't care, I love everything at the carnival so much." She said, glancing down at their intertwined hands. Melody loves this so much, just the feeling of being with him. It's exactly why she's terrified because she doesn't want to lose him. James is her only friend, her best friend, but he's her boyfriend, too. Would they still be friends if they break up? She sighed, angry at herself for thinking this when she was supposed to be having fun.

Lucy read his text, sighing softly. She pursed her lips, and texted him back. Then could I come over? She asked, hoping she wasn't too clingy. She stood up, and walked down stairs. Her mind contemplating whether she wanted to eat breakfast or not, and she decided against it. "Mom?" she called out into her empty house, no answer. She let out a frustrated scream, her mom never came home the night before, and it scared her. Her mom always came home drunk, and passed out on the couch, and Lucy always ended up taking care of her during the hangover. However, she was kind of glad that she didn't have to waste another summer day on her mother. She returned back upstairs, and waited on Scott.

Bear woke up at ten am sharp, confused. He never woke up before noon, and wondered why now. However, he pulled himself out of the bed and got dressed. He buttoned up a red flannel shirt, rolling his sleeves up. He walked over to his window, opening it up and sticking his head out. It was a good day to wear his black skinny jeans, so that's what he pulled on. The funny little dance people did while they pulled on skinny jeans, was right for him. Bear couldn't stop thinking about Finn, it was such a relief to just be able to hang out with him, and not care if someone was talking about the two of them. So, he texted him, asking if he wanted to hand out.

James smiled as he merged into the right lane so he could turn into the drive. Turning into the parking lot, he looked around for a place to park. Not seeing any close to the entrance, he parked in the closest one and got out before walking around to her side and opening the door. Scott rubbed his eyes, forcing himself out of bed. It was comfortable, but he knew there was no way he'd fall asleep again. He felt the vibration of his phone signaling a reply from Lucy. yeah, sure. The young man texted back before he stood up with a sigh figuring Matt would be done eating by now and the dishes from breakfast needed to be washed. With his phone in hand, Scott ran down the stairs and to the kitchen. His little brother was gone, along with the food that was on his plate. He took the plate and rinsed it off, setting it down in the sink. He wasn't going to wash the dishes since there would be more from lunch and dinner.

Melody took his hand and jumped out of the truck, an excited smile on her face. She was eager to enjoy the carnival with James and was looking forward to the rides. Not only that, the corn dogs and cotton candy were exceptional. Whenever she went to the carnival she would have a corn dog followed by cotton candy and it was her favorite. She could eat that everyday if she was allowed to. She pulled on his hand, leading the way to the entrance. "Come on!" Melody laughed, hurrying along.

Lucy heard her phone vibrate, and she saw his text. The ends of her lips curling up into a smile. She looked in the mirror one last time, deciding that she was decent enough. She knew the situation that Scott was in, and was more than glad that she didn't have any siblings. However, she did like his little brother, Matt. He was one of the cutest things, and Scott himself wasn't too bad, either. Actually, his whole family was something she looked forward to seeing. Her mom was always just roaming the city, and her father just never choose to be around. It was like she was raising herself. She got into her car, enjoying the ride there. Lucy always tended to love the scenery to his house, it always calmed her thoughts. Lucy pulled up into his familiar driveway, sitting there a moment. The hot air from outside contaminated her cool, air conditioned car. She pulled a smile onto her lips, and walked up to his door. She found that it was opened slightly, so she just walked right in. "Scott?" she called through the house, letting him know she was here. They were close enough where she didn't have to bother him with knocking, or ringing the doorbell.

the entire couch erupted in a vibration, causing his eyes to flit about. "where is that blasted phone!" he yelled, the small dog leaping off his lap as he stood up. once he found it he lifted it up. his face lighting up happily, as he opened the message. it read; wanna hand out? he laughed a little at the hand out part, but knew what bear was talking about. he replied; yeah. where do you wanna meet up? or we can hang out at my place. he hit the send button before rushing to the bathroom. ensuring that he himself looked a-okay. once he fixed up his hair and fixed his shirt he went back into the living room. sitting back down on the couch and awaiting a reply from bear. he felt a bit clingy when it came to bear, mostly because he loved the guy. he seemed to give himself more confidence when he was around him. if he ever saw bear around another guy, he would probably turn into the worst chick like man ever. though he knew how to keep his cool around him, and knew that they were not public yet.

He flipped it open, and slid off the other side, a foolish grin on his cheeks. 'Yeah, I'll be over in a sec' he texted him back. Bear went to the mirror, fixing his hair, then his shirt. He popped the collar up, then decided it wasn't really what he wore. So, put it back down, and searched for his car keys. He swore lightly as he realized his mom probably took his pick up for work. Then, he decided that he'd just take his skateboard there. He knew the way by heart, and it wasn't really that long away. He raced down the steps, jumping third from the bottom. His feet basically hulk smashed the floor, but he was already in the garage. The warm air hit his face with a cool breeze, he loved the smell of flowers in the morning. After shutting his garage, he raced out of his neighborhood, and into Finn's. He wasn't thinking about breathing, just getting there before eleven. It was close to 11:30 when he got there, running into the house, breathless. "Honey, I'm home!" he said, comically.
