I nod and get out a couple plates. "My mom isn't here and Lillian leaves with my mom to go to her friend's house every morning." I inform her and put the plates on the table

Stephanie looked out the window. "Oh, didn't know that. I wondered why I heard the door earlier....." she said, putting a few pancakes on his plate, adding some bacon.

I glance up at her "and you don't care?" I ask, slightly confused yet relieved

Stephanie shook her head a little, shrugging. "I know you won't do anything to me, I trust you." She said, getting out some cups.

I smile and take out my phone and sit down at the table "but you're right... I already hurt you enough by lying to you and physical damage isn't half as bad as emotional damage. Well in my opinion anyway."

Stephanie put an expression on her face that imitated Mrs. Moore's. "No phones at the table." She said in a serious voice before cracking a smile. She sat beside him and took a bite of her pancake.
