Briar sighed and walked behind her. She finally got the waterfall and jumped in. It was knee length. Good.

Ｃｈａｐｅｌ Ｒｅａｉ➳ Chapel dove underwater and went behind the waterfall, she took several photos and then ran into the cave the waters where completely clear. She hid and sat for a moment.

Digging Deeper...

Personality;; Claire is slightly shy - it's more of the fact that she just wants to keep to herself. She wanted to go to a normal public high school so she could try to fit in and just be..normal. Which is just simply not who she is. She has mixed feelings about being deaf. She accepts that it is who she is, but is embarrassed by the fact. Who could blame her? Any time she signs or speaks, she gets stares. She's been verbally abused many times - mostly from people who don't understand just how well she can read lips. At the same time,she is not scared to defend herself. If someone says something bad about deaf people to her face, she gets mad very quickly and makes them regret saying anything. All in all, she is a sweet caring person, but can have a fiery temper.

History;; Claire was born deaf. Her grandmother - on her mother's side - is also deaf, so it is hereditary. Her father walked out on her and her mother when he found out she was deaf. It wasn't a very committed relationship anyway. Needless to say, she has lived with her single mother since. She was home schooled - until middle school/junior high. Then she went to a school for the deaf, because she wanted to meet others like her. The school could not get proper funds, and had to quit a year after she had been there. She was home schooled again for two more years. Then her 9th grade year, she decided to brave up to the challenge of going to a normal high school. She refused to have an interpreter, instead settling on a hearing aide - which she tries to hide. She has had voice therapy since she was 10, so she can talk well - with the deaf accent of course.

Hobbies/Talents;; Claire loves signing songs, but not often, and only when she is alone. She also loves to dance and is very good. Though she usually dances to no music, or has to have it turned up very loud to feel the vibrations of the music. She can often be seen skateboarding or rollerskating.

(Actually, yes I do. My uncle knows how to sighn ebcause he sued to be a interpurter, and one of my friends is deaf and he has a interputer, but I choose to speak to him directly. You can make her jsut walk into Briar at the ballroom?)

Claire walked into the ballroom, and sighed, feeling the urge to dance. She would need music turned up extremely loud to feel the beat, or she could just dance to no beat as she often did. But there was no way she was dancing here - anyone could walk in see. And she never danced in front of anyone. Ever. She spotted another girl in the ballroom - glad she hadn't decided to go ahead and dance anyways.
