Andy watched Dex as he roamed around the front lawn. He was glad that out of all the dogs he had, not one of them had run away. He ran inside for a moment and grabbed his phone. He started a song and put it back in his pocket. He plugged in his headphones so he couldnt possibly disturb anyone else, even though that wasnt really possible. He went back outside, still not bothering to put shoes on. The ground felt even colder as he returned outside with his bare feet. He gaze swept around, looking for any sight of the black dog. The only thing he could see was the back end of a bigger, black animal trotting off at a fairly fast pace. He cursed to himself and ran after the shape, knowing it had to be his dog.

Their morning walk was going calmly as normal, everything as it always was. That is, until the friendly dog caught sight of a big, black dog off running. It brought Eden to a stand still, her ears pushed forward and her tail wagging as usual. Sammy could almost see the thoughts in her dog's head as they raced through. "No, no don't you-" she started to say, but then Eden was off, chasing right on after the other dog, ripping the leash fro Eden's hand. It was a rather strange behavior for Eden, but Sammy spent little time dwelling on it, just glad that Eden hadn't dragged the small girl with her. Samantha took off after Eden, thinking all sorts of thoughts as she chased after the dog. Eden was fast, but so was Sammy, so she did have a chance at getting her dog under control.

Andy hadnt gained any ground. If anything, he had lost it. "Jeez i should really run." He said to himself quickly. He picked up his pace slightly, running as fast as he could. He didnt know what had triggered his dog to take off like that. He had never done that, even as a puppy. He spotted another person up ahead, but he was unaware that they had a dog also. He just hope they wouldnt be scared of Dex, as some people were. He was a well behaved dog for the most part and would never hurt anyone or any animal. His breathing got heavy and he realized he had slowed down quite a bit at this point. "Oh, please just stop. I am the worst runner out there." he pleaded quietly. He pushed himself to pick up the pace.

Shewas getting exasperated with the two animals who never even faltered in their running. She noticed someone else running, but ignored it for the most part. Eden was quickly catching up with the other dog, and, when she finally did, she leaped on it. She didn't do so in a form of attack, but more like in a 'Lets play!' sort of manner. This sight eventually brought Samantha to a stop when she finally caught up, laughing a little. "Eden you dolt," she chided her dog through her laughter. "Come here!" The big dog jumped away from the other equally big dog, instead jumping on her master, causing Sammi to fall to the ground laughing. "Calm down," she said, pushing her dog off and standing up, brushing herself off.

Andy slowed to a fast walk as he saw his dog had stopped. He was thankful that there had been another dog there. Dex turned his head to look at him, wagged his tail, and trotted over to him. His breathing was still heavy, but he could talk at least. "Well finally...you decide...to stop." He took several deep breaths, and walked over to the girl with her dog. "Hey, im sorry about that. I really dont know what got into him. Are you okay? Your dog too?"

Ruffling her dog's ears with a grin, the dog looking up at her with a happy dog grin. "You're ridiculous," she muttered amusedly to her dog who seemed quite proud of herself. Wrapping her fingers around the leash of Eden, she turned her attention back up to the guy who was the owner of the other dog. "Oh it's fine, I'm fine," she replied with a shrug of her shoulders, looking down at Eden. "And she's fine too." Looking over him, she realized he wasn't wearing any shoes. "Are you and your dog okay? You must be freezing," she said, looking back up at him.

Andy gave her a worried smile. "Good. Good. And yeah, im sure my dog is fine as he seems to be quite enjoying this." He then looked down at the jacket and jeans he was wearing, along with his missing shoes. "Uh, yeah, im fine just besides me being a terrible runner. But other wise i think im fine." He laughed slightly. "Yeah, i have no idea."

She nodded her head a little, looking over at the other dog with a small smile. True, both the dogs seemed to be completely okay and rather happy. Laughing a little at his running comment, she smirked some. "Well, if I were to be honest, running is not my favorite past time either," she admitted. Samantha loved walking, but running? No, she would much rather not. Unfortunately, with Eden being as rambunctious as she was, she had done quite a bit of running. "Well you wouldn't want to catch a cold," she said, glancing around then looking back up at him. "I mean, it's pretty cold." He was wearing a jacket, yes, but without shoes on? If Sammy were to try something like that, her feet would probably be numb by now. Then again, she was never super partial to anything colder than fifty degrees.
