Tara giggled. "I don't know.... the words just you know...slipped." She took another sip and rested her head on his shoulder, still giggling. She may as well have said she was drunk, but she couldn't tell for sure.

Eli chuckled, "Took the words right out of my mouth." He looked up at the sky, racking his brain to find things to say.

Angel smiles and looks at him "well then" she pushed the hair from her eyes

Damien grinned. "How bout we get outta here? I know a great place to show you.. its beautiful up there." He said looking down at her smiling.

Tara smiled, looking up at him. "Sounds fun.. and dangerous. I like dangerous." She set her beer down and tried to see if she could stand on her own, but after a couple of steps, she almost face planted.

Eli smirked. "It's beautiful out. The air feels good too."

Damien held on to her. "Lets go." he grinned. They got into the car and he drove to the top of the mountain looking over Asheville. The city lights glowed like fireflies. "Beautiful huh?" He said looking over at Tara.

Angel looked at her feet a moment then back up at him. She looks a the sky and saw the stars

Tara sighed. "Very. It reminds me of home. Back in Verona, Italy. The city glowed like the stars in the dark night sky." Her voice had a wistful tone to it and her eyes were clouded with homesickness. She hadn't been in Italy for 16 years, but she still missed the beauty of it.

Eli said, "This is my favorite time of the day. I would just sit on my roof and look up at the stars. I'd always try to count how many."

Angel looked at him "I've tried that once" she looked up at the sky again

Eli smiled. "Yeah, it's a great way to fall asleep... until a friend dumps ice cold water on you." He chuckled, recalling the time Tara had done that exact same thing.
