Mattie stopped at a corner and set down his guitar case. His arms were dying. He was almost in his neighborhood, but he was tired. God, was he out of shape. He took off his backpack and sat it next to his guitar. He fell against the stop sign and let out a bored sigh. He wished life was like a video game and he could just fast travel home. Life would be magical if that were the case, but America would probably be way fatter if that was the case. Or Mexico, since America finally fell out of being the fattest country. Finally.
He sees somebody walking towards him and pus his head down. A lot of people in this town knew he was gay. Lets just say don't try to kiss a straight guy that shares his whole life. His friends tend to hit Mattie whenever they see him.

Jake watched Rosey as she panted and turned around noticing a boy with a book in his hands as so did Rosey, and this was going to turn out terrible as he could already tell. Rosey wagged her tail in excitement and jumped off the bench, ran towards the boy which had a book in his hands. Rosey came up to him and started sniffing at his feet like how she did normally, wagging her tail as well but what came next was what Jake was worried about. She jumped on him trying to lick his face, Jake came over and grabbed her taking her away from him and said in panic with worry hoping they boy was alright,"Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry. Are you okay?" Jake held onto Roseys' collar to make sure she wouldn't run to him again or anything that would hurt him.

Daemon continued to walk down the pavement but this time he wasn't in his small neighborhood. He started to walk towards a guy who he had heard about his sexuality, which if Daemon was straight actually no matter what sexuality Daemon was he still would anyone's friend whoever they were as long as they were nice. Since Daemon was bored and the guy looked somewhat tired he went up to the guy and asked him,"Hey there, are you okay you look tired." Daemon smiled at him.

Chance
Chance had looked down the street, debating trying for a cab, even though it would mean paying the amount of three bus rides. But as he turned to look at the spot that had been taken, he saw just in time the dog race to him, and jump him. Stunned, Chance couldn't do a thing as the dog tried to lick his face until the owner came and pulled the dog off him. He took half a step back, his face red with embarrassment from it happening. "No, its... Its my fault for... For smelling like a chew toy." He mumbled the weird reason while hugging his book to his chest even tighter.

Mattie lifted his head. "Oh, hi. I thought you might be, y'know." He rubbed the back of his neck and sighs. "Yeah, I'm good. I've just been out all day." He smiles, happy he was approached by somebody nice instead of the guys that like to attack him. He liked this guys hair. It was just its own thing. He liked when people were themselves instead of the same as everybody else. Mattie internally hoped he was gay. Not a lot of gay people were out that he had met, and some refused to believe that they were gay, like the guy he had tried to kiss. Mattie could almost tell when people were gay, just how they looked at other guys, but this guy was harder to treat.

Jake continued to have a tight grip on Roseys' collar and even she tried to lick his face once in a while as he was bent down holding her down so she wouldn't attack the boy again. He listened to his mumble carefully with almost all of his attention but the rest was on Rosey to make sure she wouldn't run off, or attack some random person with licks like she had done. Jake then shook his head at the boy and said,"No, I'm pretty sure it's my fault for not watching her. I also hardly doubt you smell like a chew toy, if anything I smell like chew toy." Jake laughed a bit as Rosey started to calm down a bit.

Daemon continued to smile like a goof he was and listened to him as a best friend would do, he then said to him,"Oh, do you need help with anything? Also I'm Daemon." Daemon looked at him happily as he had been bored all day since he had woken up and he also wanted to help anyone who needed which might've been weird, but it was something that helped him make friends besides when they found out his sexuality. Daemon looked down at the guitar case and then looked back at the boy hoping he would get his name, and hopefully meet him again or they could even become good friend which Daemon would've liked.

With a small smile, and bending down near the dog, Chance reached over to pet her. Even though he tried to keep her at bay, she still was able to force her way through to lick him. He laughed lightly and shrugged somewhat. "Maybe..." He told him, but before she could continue to lick him, he stood back up and looked at the boy, realizing that he might look weird, his face grew a light shade of red. "Hmm, oh! Im Chance, nice to meet you." Chance remembered he hadn't said who he was, and it was a good way to not get embarrassed.

Mattie shook his head. "No, I'm just feeling lazy." He paused for a moment. Daemon. That was a cool name. "I'm Mattie," he replies. He puts his hand in his pocket and feels for his phone. Maybe they could hang out some time, if Mattie could find his phone. They could exchange numbers and meet up some time. That would make Mattie's day. A new friend was hard to come by when guys think all gays will try to rape you. That happens in prison, and this country isn't exactly one. And all girls don't try to rape hot guys, do they? Didn't think so.

Jake smiled as the boy went up to Rosey and watched as Rosey licked him, he was happy that he wasn't afraid to approach her after what had happened to him. Jake then watched him back away and his face turn a light shade of red, Jake knew how he must've felt thinking that Jake thought he looked weird. Jake smiled at him and grabbed Roseys leash as she was calmed down a bit but he still held the leash tight, he then looked at the guy who had introduced himself as Chance. Jake then took his chance to introduce himself and the trouble maker, he then said to Chance,"Chance is a nice name. I'm Jake, and this trouble maker is Rosey." He looked at the Golden Retriever who had started to wag her tail when she heard her name, he then looked back at Chance.

Daemon smiled as the boy said he was just lazy, as so was Daemon at the moment and he was also smiling as he had introduced himself. Daemon watched as Mattie looked for something, probably his phone or an object, either way Daemon got out his phone from his back pocket and saw a couple of texts from his sister Katie saying to not bother her. Well he sure wasn't bothering her if anything he was now bothering Mattie, he laughed a bit and texted her 'I won't' which he practically was, texting her back. He then looked at Mattie said him,"Can I have your number, I know it may seem random but I'm a lonely person." Daemon laughed at himself for saying such a thing but he didn't mind, but he hoped Mattie would give him his number so he wouldn't be a lonely person anymore than he was.

Mattie finally grabs his phone and pulls it from his pocket. "Sure thing," he says. He takes Daemon's phone and gives Daemon his so they can put in their numbers. He adds himself as a contact in Daemon's phone. He holds out Daemon's phone and says, "I'm a lonely person, too. Nothing to be ashamed about."

Chance
"Jake...?" The name had a nice ring to it, but Chance wouldn't admit it, nope, not at all. With a glance to Rosey, he tilt his head back to Jack and pressed his lips together. "Well, what are you and Rosey doing out here?" He asked him, a crooked smile appearing on his lips, one that he did to all friends, but it wasn't it real smile, not at all. Chance looked away and to the clock once more, he still had quite a bit of time. Knowing that, his eyes feel back to Jake and his dog, awaiting for the answer.
