Serena's pencil stopped moving once she heard a strange voice. That wasn't one of her friends. She frowned slightly as she stared at her drawing before she looked up, only to see a guy about her age standing next to her. "T-Thanks." she stuttered, her cheeks becoming red for a few seconds. She bit her lip and gazed around the camp, only realizing now there were a lot of attractive boys walking around. When did they come here? Serena frowned again and opened her bag, getting a small polaroid camera out of it. The girl always carried a camera with her, mostly her polaroid one to photograph things she had sketched or wanted to sketch. A bit uneasy, she took a picture of the scene she had just been sketching, taking the photo carefully out of the device and waving slightly with it as she waited for it to develop. She looked up at the guy again. "W-when did you a-all... y'know." she said shyly.

Elliot grinned at her confusion and shook, amused; she really had been that absorbed into her art. "You're welcome." He sat beside her, planting his hands down behind him and outstretching his legs. His grin grew wider as she pulled out a camera. "You take pictures, too?" The young man said in awe; this girl made an amazing first impression. She seemed passionate, shy but sweet, and she was a bit of a photographer. The only way she could seem ever more exceptional is if she had a love for music as well. "Well," Elliot began, looking up at the now dark sky. "Maybe an hour or two ago?" He guessed, not certain of the exact time they had arrived. Not that it really mattered anyways. "It seems like we're spending the night here." The teenager commented, smiling suggestively.

Peyton was just about to get up and find something else to do instead of sit there like a lonely freak.. But instead she noticed a person start to walk up to her. Peyton was a bit confused. Why would someone come up to her? Surely she was mistaken. Maybe he was just walking by, or looking at a friend who may have been behind Peyton. So Peyton avoided eye contact. She kept her blue eyes sealed to the ground until this guy passed her.
But oddly enough this person was actually looking for Peyton. Peyton, a bit shy, brought her gaze up to the boys face.He had nice handsome features. Longish brown hair, nice chiseled chin. Peyton couldn't deny it; this guy was cute. She immediately snapped out of her thoughts though, when the boy had asked her a question. "What? Oh, me? sitting alone?" Peyton paused and chuckled, looking out towards the water. "I guess you could say Im used to it. Doesnt really bother me though." She said looking back at Derek with her crystal clear blue eyes. "What about you? Where are your guy friends?" she asked, moving her dark chestnut hair out of her face.

Derek studied her for a moment before speaking. She seemed somewhat shy and timid, but not enough to keep her from speaking to him. From what he picked up, she wasn't very social. He wasn't sure if it's because she choose that or not, but she did say she was acclimated to it. "They're about." The young man said with a softer tone then before, gesturing to the boys running around the campsite with his hands. The seemed to be having an exceptional time, as so did most of the girls. "Now, why aren't you with your girl friends?" He asked, looking back at her and tilting his head. Derek figured it had something to do with his previous assumption, that she wasn't very social. Some of the other girls seemed straight up wild, which seemed to be the opposite of her. He wasn't sure why he was bothering with her; he was usually with the party girls. He pushed away the thought, deciding it didn't matter. He didn't have to be predictable or typical, did he?
