So, you've never been the most popular in school. You may have not been the favorite child in your family either. You've been let down, burned out, and abandoned a few times. You've been through a lot in your life, and have always looked for someone to be there for you. You might've found others in the past and thought they were the one, but they weren't. We all have stories like that. What if you had a second chance? What if you could leave everything behind and move away to a new place where you felt wanted? Well, it's a good thing you've decided to come to California for the Summer. Yes, California. Your parents shipped you off to California to enroll you in a place where you can finally make friends with people. You're going to be staying in a mansion for a while, right by the beach in Malibu. There are eight of you - Four guys, and four girls. What will happen? You've been shipped off to some place with total strangers, and you're expected to stay the whole Summer with them. Will things work out? Yes, they will. As the Summer went on, you guys grew closer. The eight of you were all different in your own ways. You all became the best of friends, though, and the four girls actually started dating the four guys, despite their differences. Now the Summer is coming to an end, though, and you'll soon have to leave everyone behind. What will you do now?

Remember how it said everyone started dating, and that a few of the couples were a bit different? Well, like any other couple roleplay, here are the set pairings:

The Princess and Punk -
- She was popular in school. She's absolutely beautiful - Her personality is always cheerful. She wears bright clothes and loves to have fun. He's different, though. He likes heavy metal music, has piercings, maybe a few tattoos, and isn't as cheerful as she is. Although they're total opposites, they seem to work well.

The Athlete and the Basket Case -
- He's into sports, she's into art. He's considered 'hot', she's considered a 'freak'. He's funny, she's shy. Again, they're total opposites. He enjoys sports, and she enjoys being alone. He's cool, and she's just plain out weird sometimes. Although they don't have any similarities, they seem to work well.

- They're one in the same. They both have the same style, they both have piercings, they both get into the same music genre, everything. They seem to be the only couple in the house that seems to fit, although that's not always true.

-She's polite, well-behaved, and kind. He's rude, loud, and could care less about what others thought about him. She made straight A's, he failed school. It's the classic couple that everyone has to love.

Xavier Alexander Jackson is a nineteen year old boy from Las Vegas, Nevada with a wild side to him. He never made good grades in school, and always got in trouble. He enjoys getting into trouble, partying, and surprisingly music. He's never been one to show, but he does have a slight ability to sing, and plays guitar as well. His personality generally revolves around whoever he's with. He can come off as rude and over bearing sometimes, but in reality, he can be quite caring. He's rather laid-back as well, and is usually easy-going around new ideas. He doesn't yell much and isn't stubborn. In most situations, he has a very calm and relaxed attitude. Xavier tends to be rather humorous after getting to know him, and opens up fairly easy. As far as his love life goes, however, he hasn't had much luck in the past. He has a bad habit of falling for females that seem to be 'out of his league', hence falling for the 'princess' of the household in California. Although Xavier has never had a true relationship, he would like to and would be more than willing to form a relationship and try his best to be the perfect boyfriend, although he has a rowdy and rebellious side to him.

Lindsey Marie Sanders is her name. She is eighteen years old, and quite the oddball. She enjoys listening to metal bands such as Slipknot, the Murder Dolls, and her favorite artist of all time is Marilyn Manson. Her style is very different. Her makeup is typically on the darker side, thick eyeliner and black eyeshadow is typical, as well as bold shades of lipstick. Although her style is different, she is still a generally nice person. Her attitude towards life can be rather negative sometimes, and she usually tends to have a sarcastic vocabulary. She is very shy when you first meet her and isn't a very good conversationist. Her interests are mainly music and art, and although she's never shown anyone, she is quite the artist. She isn't very fond of sports and isn't athletic at all, but she has currently found herself crushing on the jock-ish athlete on this trip to California. Lindsey is quite the hopeless romantic at times, and has always dreamt of being with someone who could accept her without a problem. Her personality can make this rather troubling at times, due to being a pessimist and always thinking of negative things. However, once you look past that, you will find that Lindsey can be quite friendly, and once you do befriend her, she will never let you down.

My mother passed away when I was born, and my father abandoned me when I was 4 months old at an orphanage
::History::
Joseph has had a rather lonely past. He grew up as an orphan basically his whole life since his mother passed away when he was born, and his father abandoned him at the age of 4 months. He was constantly moved from orphanage to orphanage, since families always found him to be a problem child, and always gave him back up. When he was 12 years old, he was walking back to the orphanage from his school at the time, when these three boys that always bullied him found him. They of course hit him and pushed him down and all that, though after being fed up with it, he retaliated. He ended up nearly beating one of the boys to death, causing the others to run. He was found by the head of the orphanage crying, his fists bruised and bloodied. When he turned 16, he left the orphanage to finally be on his own, and do what he wanted. He did end up falling into the wrong crowd, which is how he got his bad habits such as smoking and occasional drinking. He got his first tattoo on his 17th birthday and kept getting them all the way up to his current age, which is why he has so many. He also uses them to cover up scars he has from his past, making them less noticeable. He did finally get set straight a little, but kept his smoking habit, though he his much more level-headed now and less of a partier than how he used to be.

Joseph is very quiet and sarcastic, normally drifting away from people. He hates having to talk, and to force himself to be sociable with others. He may come off as aggressive, or rude, but really deep down he is sweet. He is very loving and caring to his loved ones, or very close friends. He normally does have a very bad temper, but can get very angry if pushed to the limit, though normally people don't push him that far.

Her mother passed away in a car accident, her brother lives somewhere far away, she hates her father, so her only family that she loves is her aunt Delilah.
::History::
Keira was abused as a child, her mother died in a car accident due to a drunk driver when she was very young so she was left with her father and older brother, whom ended up moving away due to wanting to be in a certain collage. She was basically an only child since her brother was always off studding abroad or doing other things. Since she was left alone with her father, He always wished for her to be the perfect daughter, so whenever she did something he disliked, or was out of line, he'd punish her by either hitting her or locking her in her in the closet. She ended up moving away from her father to live with her aunt whom took care of her. She did end up moving out of her aunt's home and started living in her own apartment.

Keira is very independent and stubborn, if she has her mind set to doing something, she plans on doing it. She doesn't listen to other people most of the time, unless she really has to. She enjoys doing what she wants and being alone, so you could say she is pretty introverted when it comes to socializing. She does have a short temper, and snaps easily if people are pushing her buttons, and she normally holds grudges for quite some time. She is very compassionate with the things she loves, and is very kind.
