Nick smirked. "Sounds like a plan", he said as he started walking up to her. She seemed just as awkward. Had she been crying? He was thinking to himself. "So what's eating you?", he took her hand and led her to the cave where she had recently been. He felt comfortable with her for some reason, like he knew her in a previous life... He tossed the thought immediately. He started thinking about how his butler would be freaking out about him sneaking out like this, but he hardly cared

Amara made a sound of a crying laugh. She was humiliated, and she didnt want to share her failure with someone, but what would it matter? She had basically already made a fool of herself infront of people who made her happy and helped get her through tough times. She shrugged her shoulders because she didnt know where to start. "Everything tonight is wrong. I am a fool. Thats that. I dont think things through. I break under pressure. I cant do anything right. Literally, everything is eating me right now. Or bothering me, whatever. Worst night of my life where nothing is right. Basically nothing."

Nick wrapped his arms around her. He felt his heart race. "I know the feeling. I know what that's like", he felt nausea fill the liningbof his gut when he thought about it. He bit down on his lip and traced his fingers gently along her spine. "Would you like to talk about it? I can be an ear if you would like? Pretty little runaway girls like you shouldn't be sobbing their heart out, well at least not alone"

Amara's breath caught for a moment when he put his arms around her. An eerie chill swept through her body. She relaxed because she didnt want to alarm of offend him, because she didnt want any other issues that night. She smiled at his words and shrugged ever so slightly. "Its really embarrassing, to me at least." Her cheeks turned a light red.

"I'm Nick, by the way", he smirked. He thought a little about his father and how he never really cared about him enough to even show up for anything in his life and sighed

Amara didnt know what to feel about him. She was oddly comforted by the stranger though it was strange. She never expected this night to take a slightly better turn as it had. She had a break from her thoughts when he came and talked to her. She wasnt pushed to say anything about that night. "Amara. Yeah, thats my name." she said awkwardly. She wished she had sounded calmer but she was still slightly upset.
