Brendon felt Jake snuggle closer, making him smile. He was glad that the other boy was comfortable around him, most people weren't. Maybe it was just the way he came off sometimes, so forward and flirty, but a lot of people happened to be scared of him before they got to know him. Could have been the gauge in his left ear, or his height- but six foot wasn't that tall. Oh well, he didn't care much anyways. Making a slight sound of disagreement, he said, "It helped having someone near by, I hate sleeping alone."

Jake thought of some things about home and remembered he still had to unpack things, but it was probably a mess since Rosey had been locked in there and probably made a huge mess, he was pretty luck that he was able to bring the golden retriever as his Father almost took her away. Brendon doubted that he would ever unpack things. As soon as he had gotten here, he'd just thrown his stuff on the bed. Once he and Jake had come up earlier to watch the movie, he'd grabbed the things and tossed them in the corner. He just didn't care very much about his things, mostly because he never had to worry about taking care of them. Mommy and daddy could just replace everything for him. "If you ever, um, feel lonely.. I'm here. If you want me to be." It was obvious that he hadn't ever said something like that to someone, just with how awkward it sounded coming from him.

Jake continued to think about things as he was close to Brendon, he felt like he could really tell him anything besides the fact that he was abused because he didn't feel it was that important. He then listened to Brendon say that if Jake felt lonely he could go to him, it made Jake smiled but he doubted he would be lonely unless he was bored. Jake then said,"I doubt I'll be lonely, but either way I'll know you're here and you care. Hopefully." The last part he had whispered about saying hopefully, he didn't know if Brendon heard him but he hoped he didn't.

Brendon had never been abused. It seemed like everyone here was hurt or scared or abused sometime in their life. Brendon honestly felt like he didn't even belong here. The only reason he was here was because he was gay. But honestly, everyone else seemed to have some sort of tragic background, it made him feel horrible. His whole life, he had basically been spoiled. Given everything he wanted, taking everything for granted. That's because his parents were rich though, they had the money for all that. Jake was thinking about two things, he was thinking about Brendon and Rosey. He was happy about Brendon but he was worried if Rosey was tearing up anything that wasn't considered his, but she probably was just asleep drooling on his bed which made him more calmer. He continued to look at Brendon and listened him and then said,"Of course I'll make time for you, but I have to ask a question. Do you like dogs?" Jake was silent after that, this was a serious question as Jake loved dogs and he had one that was in his room as of right now.

Brendon had a dog back home. A big husky/wolf mix, brown and white with the bluest of blue eyes. The wolf dog acted like a human, if he could have he probably would have climbed up on a chair at dinner and sat with them. They had gotten him, Zeus, back when Brendon joined the football team. Though he hated football, ended up quitting less than a season in. "Bad boys" didn't really play sports, they more like terrorized the school and exploded teen girls ovaries. "Yeah, dogs are cool." Jake thought of Rosey and she always excited for everything even when you said her name, she also always jumped on strangers she knew she would like or Jake would like.
