he noticed the gathering of pretty much everyone, and was instantly terrified. what if someone came up and acted really casual around rowan, and rowan embarrassed himself by failing at acting casual? the eighteen year old didn't bare to think about it, so walked straight towards the exit and sat out next to the door, legs to his chest arms wrapped around them. rowan had his eyes shut and his head down, hoping nobody would talk to him. well, they wouldn't, so why was he getting paranoid? well, they were probably judging him and calling him 'fat' from afar, so that was one reason..

cara knocked on rowan's door, pretty sure that if he were present he'd ask for identification of who was at the door. so, when nothing happened, she said quietly; "rowan?" that, she knew, would make him open the door. but, he wasn't there, so that worried her - ever so slightly. "he's probably just finding somewhere quiet.. or talking to someone," she murmured to herself, heading down the stairs. her footfall was heavy as she descended, but was distracted by the kitchen. she was really thirsty, and could do with a biscuit, or something similar.
