Mariah gasped and fingered one of the spines of the books. "Wow" she half whispered. "It's beautiful" she said happily.

Tom smiled at her reaction and allowed her to go and explore the ballroom. He was certainly glad that she didn't see this as over done or too extravagent.
"A ball will be held here to greet you and your sisters."
He told her while he took another step Ito the grand room.

Elouise looked back at Tom and went to his side again. "Okay, cool," she said. "Can I see some other rooms?" she asked him. Eli took one last glance around the ballroom then returned her gaze back at Tom. She waited for his answer.

Tom nodded with a smile and offered her his arm before leading her down the hall and into the dining room where there were to have dinner that evening.
"I believe this room is self-explanatory."
He chuckled before letting her get a good look while he stood in the hall way, waiting to show her the observatory, one of his favorite places.

Elouise grabbed his arm and walked with him. She looked at the dining room then continued to follow him. She saw the observatory and, again, let go of his arm to look at his arm. She seemed to be the most interested in the observatory.

She giggled at the man, who seemed to be trying his best to get her attention, she smiled back at him, fluffing her hair which had falling in soft curls over her shoulders, "My name is Skylar princess of the East, but call me Sky. May I ask what your name is?..sir" she quickly remember to be polite adding sir on the end, she quickly curtsied.

I looked at her and smirked when she laughed at my comment
"you do not need to call me sir, that's what people call my father"
I said, "I am Jakub Allen Mathews from the West, just call me Jake" I told her.
She was actually rather beautiful I thought to myself, maybe
this one will last longer than all of the others. I quickly
dismissed the thought, because honestly if it hadn't been
for this arranged marriage I doubt I would ever have a wife,
but of all of them I would rather have this one. I tipped my head
to the side in a questioning way "So, what do you honestly think of
this whole arranged marriage?"

Mariah looked at the books a little longer then another young man entered and since she was a little shy, she stepped back bumping into Jack. "Oh! Sorry" she said apologetically. "I'm not trying to kill you I promise!"

"I think it is unfair, we do not get a say in who we are to marry, they don't want peace, they want power and the only way they can do that is if there are no more wars!" She replied, getting slightly irritated. 'At least I got paired with a very hansom one' she though.
