Aleks sighed as she parked and turned her truck off next to the stables. She chewed on her bottom lip before tiredly climbing out of her truck. She took a quick glance around before brushing her bangs out of her eyes and face, walking to the side door of her two horse trailer. She unlocked and opened the side door, stepping inside, she smiled a little when she saw Sly's head, giving him a soft pat before grabbing both Sly's halter & lead, and also Cadence's halter & lead. She walked back out and went to the back of the trailer, unlatching it and letting the ramp fall. She whistled low before walking up the ramp, patting Cadence's rump gently before slipping the halter over the mare's head, clipping the lead. She clicked her tongue and walked forward, making Cadence gracefully walk out of the trailer, down the ramp, and around the trailer. Aleks smiled before tying the lead to the side of the trailer, "Oh, Shush it Sly," Aleks called when she heard her wild gelding whinny from inside. Aleks huffed out a breath before going back inside the trailer, "Sly," she murmured, patting his ramp and turning his head to her. She slipped the halter over his head and clipped the lead rope, walking forward with him. Sly snorted and instead pranced out of the trailer and to the side, making it harder for Aleks to tie the lead rope next to Cadence.

he chuckles as the mare leaned over, so he smoothed the mares nose "Its alright I don't mind" he smiled as Rain leans over and sniffs the mare

I decided to take a walk around the barn to see all of the horses. Some didn't have any nameplates on them, which made me wonder what their names could really be. Through one of the breezeways, I could see two new horses and a new girl unloading the trailer. I turned a corner and bumped into a guy who appeared to be my age. I took a couple of steps back and a nervous giggle escaped my throat. What a way to make a first impression to anyone...

"Sorry...I guess I better pay attention to where I'm going next time..." I said, feeling my face heat up. I just ran into someone...now everyone is going to think I'm the weird girl.
"I'm Katie...and I normally don't slam into people..." I said with a raw attempt at humor. Does he think I'm flirting with him because I really wasn't!

(writer's block...though I suppose it's my fault since it's only 9 am LOL)

Ragen

I smiled "she can be quite nosy." Boo surrendered to the pleasure of being scratched and took a step closer to the boy. She nuzzled his chest for a treat looking at that moment like an over grown puppy. "I think she likes you." I patted the dark grey mares rump lightly her back over my head. I smiled at the overgrown baby of a horse but I knew she could have her moments.

Jake: he smiles "So can my mare" he looked at Ragen before looking at he mare "Sorry I haven't got any treats" be looked back at Ragen "By the way my names Jake" he smiled

"Im Ragen nice too meet you." I held my hand out for a hand shake. "So are you new here?" Boo nuzzled him again just for more scratches. I smiled at my mare. i had always liked her personality it didnt suit her big and fierce look at all.

Jake: he shook her hand "Yeah just put my other horse in his stall" he said before smoothing the mare again with a smile

Rain: she leaned over with a snort

Ragen&Boo

Boo stretched her neck to the other horse her eyes curious. Her breath blew in billows of air. "So what are there names?" I looked at his horses curiously eying the black one carefully.

Rain: she pawed the ground "The names Rain" she snorted at the mare before nipping jakes arm getting bored
