He stood up looking over at the guy who was mad and gave him money to but another drink. Jack was never rude only when needed and he didn't want to waist his time over a little coffee. Thank god he was wearing a leather jacket and that was the only thing dirty. He looked back over at her. "Where's your favorite place to go around town?" he asked.

Mizuki peers curiously at the book in the boys hands before shifting her gaze back to his face when he speaks. She smiles and nods a little after he had introduced them "It is nice to meet you both too" she replies, watching Jake as he takes another book from the shelves before looking over at Carolyn, her grey eyes widening a little at the offer she had just given "O-oh, would it be alright for me to come...?" she asks quietly, becoming a little nervous as she had only just met these people. Mizuki glances around them, still wondering where the books that she had come for would be, then she sighs softly I can always come back another day she thinks Besides...they seem nice and..well...I need some friends she tells herself before looking back at them "Well...if it is okay, then sure" she smiles

Serena gripped her umbrella tighter in her small hands, as she slowly made her way to the park. The rain was plummeting down from the sky quickly and harshly, and the thunder was deafening. But there have been worse. She looked around for a brief moment as she entered the small park, the grass squishy beneath her shoes. Seeing no one she seemed to know, she made her way to a bench under a tree. The tree had thick leaves, which must have stopped some of the rain, because the bench was only a tad wet. She found the driest part of the seat, conscious of her white shorts, and sat down, rather bored.
