Banner is a Brazilian/Spanish/American man. His father is Brazilian and Spanish, while his mother is an American woman. Banner was raised in the beautiful spanish countryside on his families amazing horse Stud. They had top of the art stables, breeding facilities, and indoor/outdoor arenas, even with a wonderful racing track. His families Stud, concentrated heavily on dressage horses, but they also boarded horses, like race horses, and show jumping horses. His family mostly breeds Andalusian dressage horses, but they do have wonderful Andalusian crosses with horses like Friesians, thoroughbreds, and czech, dutch, and belgian warmbloods. They have over 100 horses at their expansive stud with over 30 people working for them. They have many horses standing at stud, and many young horses that people pay to keep with them, or that are horses that they breed. Banner did spend a number of years in the military, he was in the American Air Force, and was actually a pilot.

The Stud, or "The King of Shadows Stables", is named after his grandfather's first horse, a pitch black stallion "King of Shadows", who had been the base stud, he was a fantastic Andalusian and was amazingly talented in dressage, show jumping, cross country, and the hunters. The stallion had been a cunning horse, but extremely loyal and an amazing stallion. The Stud has lots of land situated on a mountain, not quite on the top, but not at the base of the mountain. It is wildly green in the summer, and the horses are free in their fields until they're started at about 5 or 6. All the horses bred by his family are like mustangs a bit, but have much better movement and are easier to start, as their first year they are handled quite often. His parents and grandparents run the stud, his grandfather is the head trainer and starts most of the horses, while his father brings on the Grand Prix horses, his mother spends most of her time with the mares and foals, and his grandmother controls the house hold and runs most of the financial parts of the business. Banner's job is to train all the boarder horses, and to show most of the horses they own. Banner knows how to gently bring on horses, and his mother actually was helping a mare give birth when she went into labor with Banner, he's been around horses since the day he was born, literally.

As a rider, Banner is well known for working with his horses, getting them to develop their bodies correctly, and asking politely, but if he tells his horse to do something, he will make sure it gets done, no matter the bucking, or rearing, or whatever the horse does. He is firm, but kind, and seems to have infinite patience with horses. His weaknesses with riding would have to be he has weak knees, and can be super competitive, jumping really isn't his thing, but he can do it fairly skillfully, it's just not a strength of his. He tends to release too much, and to be a "dramatic jumper" and let his back arch, but that is mostly from an injury he had as a kid, he was bucked off a horse, and he had some major injuries to his back, he was in a wheel chair for about a year before he could really walk again, leaving him with a weak back.

Banner is known to be a bit grouchy and quiet, and really doesn't seem to like many people. He is also known to hurt people who sneak up on him, it's very rare someone can sneak up on him, but if they do, they will be injured, not because he wants to, but it is more instinct than anything. He is a calm hard to anger guy, unless he sees you doing something stupid that could hurt you or your horse. He doesn't like loud noises that aren't natural, like gun shots make him exceedingly nervous, while a crack of thunder while leave him cool and collected. He seems to not fear anything, and keeps to himself if at all possible. When he is with military friends, he is much more outgoing, than he is with anyone else. He is loyal to a fault, and doesn't like being wrong. He's a think before you speak kind of guy.

He is definitely a loner, and is a hard worker. He keeps to himself, and doesn't like problems, he seems to be a brooding kind of guy that attracts women. Though he occasionally shows who he was before he went into the military, a much happier, but still quiet guy, he seems to be focused on forgetting certain things, and rarely, if ever, talks about military time. Few even know he was in the Air Force, and he doesn't advertise really, he treats women with a bit more respect than he treats most guys, and he is the kind of guy that you have to earn his respect.

King is a 17.3 hand PRE stallion he is a very light grey, with light dappling on his legs from when he was younger. He isn't the most even tempered horse, but is usually a fairly relaxed guy, he is a very strong horse, and is not for anyone but an advanced rider. He is Banner's dressage horse.
