19 years old.|May 8, 1994|Chinook, Montana
I'm from a country family, but western was never really my thing. I much prefer the delicate precision of jumping.
I was born in a small town in Montana to a family of 5. I am the youngest with two older brother named Jeremy, 28, and Kyle, 25. My parents have been happily married for 40 years, and they're my biggest inspirations. My entire family rodeos, mostly competing in Bronc riding and team roping, although my older brother Jeremy is also a bulldogger. I competed in barrel racing and goat tying in rodeos until I was 12. On my 12th birthday, my aunt Brindi took me to a show jumping competition. From that day on, I fell in love. For my 13th birthday I received my first jumping horse, Bentley. From the first time I jumped on Bentley, I knew this was what I was destined to do. Bentley was an incredible horse, and through countless falls, a broken arm, a broken collar bone, and endless hours on the road, he was my constant companion. By the time I was 17, I was the best junior jumper in western Montana. Then, I did the hardest thing I ever thought I would have to do; I sold my horse. I hadn't realized it until then, but as I'd gotten better so had Bentley. By the time I found a buyer, I was able to sell him for three times the amount we paid. With that money, plus a loan from my parents, I was able to buy the love of my life; Titan's Rolling Thunder. He is actually why I accepted the invitation to come ride here. About 6 months ago Titan and I took a fall in a big competition, and he hasn't been the same since. I fractured my wrist, and he ended up with a tendon injury in his right hock. We're both physically healed, but when we started jumping again he just didn't feel right. I've noticed he hesitates before jumps, and he throws his head. His hesitations are killing our height. He's knocked more poles in the last month than he has in the last 2 years. I know something is wrong, but I refuse to believe I ruined such a talented horse. I am hoping that some time here will do us both some good.

{נυѕт мє} {ѕυиѕнιиє ѕмιℓєѕ} {ѕιℓℓу мє} Height: 5'6"Weight: 110 pounds of lean muscle.Hair Color and Style: My hair is a sandy blonde color, reaches to my mid-back in length, and I
usually just wear it natural since I'm too
lazy to do anything to it. Since it's
naturally curly, I rarely have to do
anything to it anyways. When I want to
be fancy I may straighten my hair, though
most often I just wear it in a french braid
to keep it out of my face. Eye Color: My eyes are my least favorite part of myself. They're a dark stormy blue, with a little ring of yellow around my
pupil. A lot of people tell me they look like an island in a stormy sea, but I think they're boring and ugly.Skin Tone: I am 1/2 Native American, so I have an olive skin tone that tans very dark. After all my time spent in the sun working and riding, I have a very deep tan. I'm so tan, I no longer need sunscreen to keep from burning.Body Type: I was a runner in high school, and that in addition to my conditioning for jumping keep me in very good shape. I'm lean and toned, with an 8% BMI ratio. I could probably stand to gain some weight, but it's not from a lack of trying. I eat like a pig, I just have such a high metabolism I burn off almost everything I eat.Tattoos and Piercings: I don't really flaunt this to people, but I do have a tattoo. It was a spur of the moment, 18th birthday decision that surprisingly I don't regret. Every time I see it in the mirror, it reminds me how I feel when I'm jumping; like I'm soaring. I have no other tattoos, but my belly button is pierced, and I have double piercings in both ears also.Scars and Blemishes: I love my scars.I have many, although the big ones are on my left arm, from the surgery I had when I broke it, and 4 long, thin marks on my side. Although I'm usually open to telling people how my scars came to be, those I prefer not to tell about. I will only tell that story to a select few people, and you'd better feel damn special if I feel comfortable enough to tell you. Other than that I have a lot of little burns and scars from cuts, and I also have a birthmark on the bottom of my foot, in the shape of a boot.
There isn't much to tell I guess, except maybe some more about myself. I am a small town girl raised to be country strong. My family owned 400 head of beef cattle that we ran on the 300 acres we own in Montana. I helped castrate and brand, as well as helped move the beast from pasture to pasture. I'm a little shy when I first meet people and prefer to stay to myself, but if I get to know people better I start to come out of that shell. I am independent, as well as headstrong and stubborn. If I am struggling with something and someone offers to helps me, my foolish pride will kick in and I will refuse. I then end up working twice as hard as I need to, simply because I can't accept help from anyone. I am tough and scrappy, and I will always stand up for the underdog. I don't take kindly to bullies, and I especially don't handle people who mistreat others, human or animal. I can tell a lot about someone based on how they treat their horse, and sometimes that's how I choose my friends.
Once I warm up to people I am much more warm and friendly. I love swimming and running, as well as skiing in the winter. I also love going out for trail rides and playing horseback games. I may look small and fragile, but I just may surprise you with with how tough I can actually be.

Registered Name: Titan's Rolling Thunder
Barn Name: Titan
Age: 6 years
Gender: He's a stallion, currently standing at stud.
Breed: Titan is PB Andalusian.
Color: He's registered as dapple grey.
Eye Color: Titan's eyes are what
first drew me to him. The first thing
I always look at when I meet a
guy is his eyes, so naturally I did the
same thing when looking for a new
jumping horse. When I first saw
Titan, with his big,warm brown
eyes, I couldn't help but let myself
melt into them. I instantly fell
in love, and every time I look at
them I imagine I'm sinking into
a pot of warm milk chocolate.
Training: Titan has had nearly
180 days of professional training in
both jumping and dressage. We
only compete in jumping though,
since I have never had any
experience with dressage, or
any interest in competing in
it.
Personality: Titan is as solid as an ox, both in ground work and when we ride. I can honestly say I'd trust this horse with my life. He can be a little spooky at shows, but that's just because of the excitement in the air. Once we get started on a run, he usually calms down. Before our accident he didn't have any problems aside from cribbing, but we found it was the fact that he didn't like being in the stall all day, so once we moved him out to pasture he was much better. Of course, that means a lot more grooming of my grey horse than I'd like, but I deal with it. While Titan is a dream most of the time, he is still a stallion and being around seasoning mares has it's way of killing his brain for a little while. He can be irritable and snarky when the mares are in season, but I just ride him extra hard for that time to help keep his mind off things. He has never gotten into a fight, but it wouldn't surprise me if another stallion or gelding started to challenge him. Titan likes to be king, so when others threaten that he gets testy. Since our accident, he now throws his head when we ride, misses steps, trips himself, and refuses almost any jump over two feet. Before the accident we were jumping at 5'10", and now we can barely clear a practice jump.Quirks: Just like any horse, Titan has his little quirks. One of my favorites is his finger sucking. If you tickle his top lip, he'll pull your fingers into his mouth, tuck them against the gums in the top of his mouth, and suck on them. I think this is a result of being bottle fed, since he was a twin and wasn't able to get the amount of nutrient he needed when he fought with his sister. Another quirk he has is one that most people don't believe. Titan likes to dance! He will only dance to 3 songs, "Hicktown" by Jason Aldean, "Stronger" by Christina Aguilera, and "Get Off Of My Back" by Bryan Adams. If any of these come on in the barn, he immediately stops what he's doing and starts bobbing his head. Then he'll start pawing at the ground and turn in circles, occasionally stopping to change direction or bob his head again. He also whinnies and nickers, and keeps doing these things until the song is over. Once it is, he goes back to acting like nothing happened.
