Damon sighed but reluctantly nodded. "I am currently in a relationship with my loving girlfriend that I do not plan to break up with. I have lived in Paris all my life. See? Right there! He hates me for something that wasn't my fault. I can tell by the way he talks..martha thought with a sigh. She herself could have guilted them quite a bit of she had felt like it. She didn't react to what he said, though, didn't act hurt nor surprised.

Damon didn't care if she hated him or if she thought that he hated her. He didn't hate her, he just hated the fact that she was his fiancé. He sighed and stabbed at his food.

Martha finished off her food and rose to her feet. She pushed her chair back in and walked off, back up to her room. She didn't know if that was considered rude, but that was how she had always acted back home.

"See! She is a rude farm girl..." Damon spoke standing up and clearing up both his and Martha's plates and put them in the sink to soak in hot water. He thanked his mother before walking back upstairs.

Martha heard his words but shoved them off. Just don't do that again. Your not at home anymore, though you might as well be. France and Texas are about the same size. Ugh! Not the time to be smart.

Damon walked to his room and didn't bother shutting the door. He called his girlfriend and happily spoke to her on the phone as he relaxed on his bed.

Martha grabbed her cellphone and called her little sister. Her little sister had huge expectarions of the man Martha was engaged to. She expected a Mr.Wonderful, a Prince Charming, but Martha knew this man was neither. She didn't like him at all. She wished she was at home with Guardian, Tommy and Rosie. Then she remembered that Rosie had been expecting, and this arranged marriage struck her even harder. She would never be able to see her goats or her cows ever again. She ranted and raved about all of this to her nine year old sister.

Damon just spoke lovingly to his girlfriend. He sighed and nodded as she heard that he was engaged. Damon sighed again and hung up the phone.
