I rolled my eyes at him. I glanced at Banner, raising my eyebrows for a second, before looking back at the other man. I decided to let Banner do the majority of the talking. I, personally, would be terrified of this man if he said that to me. I knew he would really do it. I cleared my throat. "Okay, gentlemen. I don't believe any of us really want to die today." Even though it may be better than living with zombies. I couldn't help but think. I stepped forward a little. "I'm not going to sit here and argue with you about whether I'm lying or not. You can take a few weapons and go." I said, letting out a small sigh. I glanced back at Dawn and Alekka for a second.

dawn hunt

Honestly, Dawn was shocked, she thought that Ross wouldn't give up, though I guess it was kind of nice considering how many weapons he had, he had enough for everyone! Dawn would've done the complete opposite, she would've kept her ground and wouldn't let the guy take her stuff that she personally found and collected, for all we know he could've fought for that and it might've taken some effort! Though it wasn't her stuff, she wasn't about to stop him, so she just stood back and gave the guy a path to get through, she wouldn't want to get in anybody's way at the moment.

I paused at as response. It meant I'd get out scott free, with guns. Seemed like the best choice. But how many was a few? "Fine" I said as I sheathed my blade and slowly made a movement toward the cabinet, hoping my kneecaps would still be there. I looked for a good rifle. I had never liked the idea of a shotgun, it spreads too much unless you use a slug. But I didn't want a sniper, I mean what'd you do when they get closer. I then say a Remington 700 with a shorter barrel. I picked it up into my hands. Spinning it I said, "Remington 700 sps." I pulled the bolt back and examined the barrel. ".223? no 300 blackout. Around a 16 inch barrel, with a threaded end. Internall magazine, probably around 5-6 capacity." I then eyed for a box of ammo

Banner

- Ex-Russian Operative -

Banner grunted, he raised a brow, but decided to not provoke this man. He truly didn't want to kill him, but he would not let the man mess with his new found allies, he was oddly loyal in that way. He stepped closer to Alekka and mumbled under his breath to her, You're thinking of me as violent, lyubit'. Chto yest' istina. He slung a casual arm over Alekka, and said in her ear. Shoot him if he makes a violent move, with whatever weapon you have. He raised a brow at her, and stepped further into the shadows, he didn't like being exposed for too long. He waited, gun at the ready. Personally, he preferred a hand gun or a sniper. He stayed in the shadows, but he had a weakness for all guns. He didn't like shot guns that much though, rifles were all right. He liked them at different times.

If there was a tiger roaming the streets, I'd be the person that goes and hugs the tiger. It'd become my best friend, and I'd feed it. And it'd be Rajah, and protect me from arrogant princes and it would love me.

Tell it to me slowly
Tell you what?

Forget your lust for the rich man's gold
All that you need is in your soul,
And you can do this if you try.
All that I want for you my son,
Is to be satisfied.
And as we wind on down the road
Our shadows taller than our soul.
There walks a lady we all know
Who shines white light and wants to show
How everything still turns to gold.

I could feel my dark eyebrows rise up into my ebony bangs when, after a few intense, hesitant moments, Ross allowed this man to take a weapon or two. I could hardly believe a man would do such a thing as share a weapon with another man, but hey, I wasn't about to interfere in a man's stand-off when I could merely stand by and watch. Banner seemed rather distrustful as well, slinking back to where I stood and whispering into my ear exactly what had been going through my mind. I nodded once, choosing to ignore the man's closeness and obvious comfort with me. Right now wasn't the time to shove him away for bringing his lips a bit too close to my ear. Distracted from the shadow's progress outside, I finally turned back to glance out, merely see where they happened to be at, when my stomach flopped unpleasently, leaving a cold, sluggish feeling in my head; much like when you skip a step when decending a tricky flight of stairs. F***. Guys. We need to go. Like, now. Right now."I could hear myself saying, retreating a step from the high window. The shadows had doubled back, and were now a lot closer, possibly creeping along the side of the house. Any scent, any sound would be accesible to them, if we didn't leave right then. I looked to Ross, mossy-green eyes bright with alarm."Any back exits?"

I was holding the weapon across my arms loading the cartridges and jamming as many boxes of the ammo into my many pockets as possible when I heard her. At first it confused me and I went back to loading. Then out of the corner of my eye I saw them. My heart sank and my new rifle rose. "The window I came through." I suggested to her question. I pulled the bolt back and loaded the first round. With fast hands I grabbed a lonely suppressor and began screwing it on as I shuffled toward the window.

I looked at Alekka, and nodded, a tiny bit of fear poking at me. "Sh!t. Okay, hold on." I said, and quickly grabbed a couple M1s with straps, and tossed one in Alekka's direction. "Head's up." I said as I threw it, then tossed one to Banner. I looked at my stash, opening a little gun container. I opened it up quickly and pulled out a nice pistol. It was a powerful one, yet surprisingly easy to handle. I walked over to Dawn and held it out to her. "You know how to use one of these, right? Just pull back the safety-" I said, while demonstrating. "Then shoot away. But carefully." I added, then turned, looking around. I took a couple more Aks with silencers, along with an M16. I twisted a silencer onto the current Ak47 I had, then looked back at Alekka. "Yeah. There's an exit a few doors down. Leads into a courtyard." I said, and headed out, knowing they'd be behind me, and not glancing at the guy who tried to steal my guns. I was still mad about that. Like two girls fighting over shoes. Heh.

Banner

- Ex-Russian Operative -

Banner put a hand on Ross's rifle and pushed it down, No. No. Ne. Don't take the shot. It will bring more attention. He took the gun, and ushered Alekka and Dawn in front of him. YA mogu vyzhit' nozhi, ya mogu vyzhit' nozhi. He chanted this phrase very softly to himself, almost undetectable. He felt saddened to think that his new found allies could perhaps die.

He shook this off, and began saying his phrase in his head "I can survive knives, I can survive knives". It was a phrase he'd given himself as a young boy, when enduring the torture's he'd endured for over a year, it became a catch phrase for him. If he could survive torture for a year, as a 6 year old, while his parents had not, he would survive this. It gave him an odd sense of morbid hope, while reminding him of what he'd lost, reminding him to stay grounded, almost.

alekka nikoelle

I barely caught the gun that Ross had snatched from his wall, trying to be as quiet as possible, reluctantly letting the Russian usher little Dawn and I in front of him. If it were just Dawn and I, as it normally would have been, we would have simply dashed away together as silently as possible, keeping an eye out for other zombies. However, in a group this large, it would be virtually impossible to prance away undetected, not with all the clank and clunk of weapons and the footfalls of more than one or two. I glanced back at the guy who had robbed Ross of a few of his knick-knacks; I couldn't help but feel slightly guilty for him, for leaving him to fend for himself in the face of danger, but I guess it couldn't be helped for someone who'd attempted to rob an ally. Shouldering my weapon to move quicker, I followed Ross, the sounds of Dawn and Banner's footfalls behind me giving me the comfort that they were still there, along with Banner chanting whatever it was in Russian.

dawn hunt

She looked to where the shadows were, well I'll be d*mned, she thought to herself as she took the pistol from Ross. "Yep", she said as she grasped the pistol into her right hand, she cocked it and prepared herself to shoot, but wasn't going to go all crazy with it. Dawn began to slightly run behind Alekka, she began to worry, she was always worried when it came to escaping the walkers but with a larger group, it would be easier to get caught, or heard.
