I nodded at Alekka, quickly getting up and following after her. I watched, slightly worried as she started climbing down the ivy. It looked thick, but we had no idea how strongly it was attached to the building. I looked around, counting how many of us there were now. Six. Seven including the strange little fox. I looked at Dawn. "I don't trust the ivy. Does anyone have any rope? Or anything like it? Either Banner or I could hold it while the others ease down. Like scaling a mountain, you know? It'll be easier for the injured, because you don't have to use both legs and arms." I suggested, thinking quickly.

I sighed, remembering the rope I left on my dresser back at the motel, "I have one, but its not with me, I left it at the motel. I didn't bring it because I only thought I was going to meet up with Alekka then go searching for food, but instead we found you guys, ug", she moaned, she began playing with the loose hair from her bun, that's what she did when she was embarrassed or nervous.

Carvar & Tavo
carvar:
i looked up at the people bickering on the roof and suggested, "Just jump and roll." i shrugged and glared at the "Ugh girl" as i decided to nickname her. i shook my head and noticed Tavo waiting for me in the woods. I should leave, it would help them.. one less mouth to feed, but what if i just stayed for company? found my own food? I shrugged the backpack off of my shoulders and checked the contents over for the billionth time, my eyes lingering on the picture before i put it back on my shoulders and waited for them to come down.
Brynn, they/them
not super active here, so it may take a while for me to answer and such, thank you for your patience!

Deciding that climbing down the thick ivy indeed was a bad idea, I struggled back up onto the tin roof, panting slightly at the thought of falling so far. "Yeah, great idea, but we have no rope. We might have to just wait here until the undead in the kitchen lose hope and find their way out.." I said, rather dully. I hated heights, and zombies, and feeling cornered, and just now, all of those fears were mashed into that pit in my stomach that makes you tingle when it bothers you. Looking around, I tried to see if I could find any other way. Nothing.

I shrugged my shoulders and sat down with a thud, I then looked over to the fox and sighed, I looked down into the pit of doom (Aka, the hole in the ceiling), I shivered at the thought of being eaten alive by those, those things, to die at such a young age, it'd be a horrible way to die. No, no, no, I can't think of this, I though as I made a disgusted face and shook my head, I quickly turned away from the hole and looked over to Ross, "Alekka's right, our last choice is to wait e'm out and hope the ceiling doesn't give way", I said as I looked at the group, with wide eyes.

I nodded and sighed, sitting down against what looked like a chimney, my back against it. I brought my knees up, resting my arms on them. I was thinking about alot of things. Like what we would do if the Zombies didn't leave, or found a way to get up here. Sure we had weapons, but exactly how many zombies could we take down before we ran out of ammo? That frightened me. I'd probably end up just jumping off the building, liking the odds of surviving much more. I might break a leg - maybe both. But in my opinion, that's so much better than just being eaten. Ugh. The thought totally gives me the willies.
I watched everyone, trying to come up with some sort of plan - but I couldn't. There was always something that ruined it, and got in the way. Why couldn't humans have been made with wings? That'd make things so much easier. But then zombies would have wings too. They'd probably be too stupid to know how to use them, though. I shook my head, trying to clear my mind of all these worthless thoughts.

Sighing softly and nervously, I glanced around at each face, searching to see if they'd had some brilliant relevation, but each held the same frustrated look. I glanced up at the girl with the fox, amazed that she could climb that tree with a broken leg. Looking back to Ross, Dawn, and Banner, I sighed quietly. "If anything, I'll jump back down there, lead them away so you all can get out the back exit.. Zombies are pretty slow, anywho, we'd just have to play it smart." The thought of climbing back down into that hole terrified me to some point, but the feelings of having to keep everyone safe were stronger. I were quicker, stronger, smarter than the zombies, no matter their numbers. We just had to do something.

-It's all good Red, I was so worried that something aweful happened after the falls you told us about. /).(\ Anywho, we're still on the roof, nothing's happened as everyone were just confused and the last few pages were all about that... but yeah, we missed you and Banner's antics, maun. x3

{ Yeah, welcome back! }

dawn hunt
"No! You can't just go down there on your own!", I yelled but not loud enough to attract ever more zombies. "We've got food, we can just camp out here until the zombies are gone, and if they don't leave, we'll have to jump", I said looking over to Alekka with a serious expression on my face.
