Gently moving away from Banner, I stumbled to my feet, my legs feeling as if they were being forced to hold up the world. Grabbing Micheal's other arm, I tugged, putting every ounce of anything I had in me. A dark thought was forming inside of my head, and I knew Ross was probably thinking the same thing; once we got Micheal up here, Ross could likely be too drained to hoist himself up, even with our help. I would jump back down and try my best to help fend off any zombies before I'd leave Ross down in the zombie-infested building below. Finally, with one last epic heave and shove from the three of us, we managed to drag Micheal up onto the cool metal roofing. Panting, I peered down at Ross. "Good, now get up here, c'mon.." I pleaded, holding my hand down to him. The banging and grunting from the main hall was getting louder, and it would be seconds until they reached the partially barricaded door. Hopefully that would buy us at least two minutes, that was all we needed..

I let out a puff of air as Michael was pulled up, and away from me. My chest was heaving, I was out of breath. I could hear the d*mn zombies pounding against the door, along with a cracking sound every now and then. I knew the barricade wouldn't hold much longer. I longed to take a moment to catch my breath - scared I wouldn't have enough energy to pull myself up. Just when I made up my mind, the zombies got through, and one almost immediately made its way towards me. "Oh sh!t. Sh!t!" I yelled, and quickly jumped up, grasping the edge of the hole. My arm muscles hurt, but I simply refused to die this way. I began heaving myself up, trying to swing my legs up, when one of the d*mn things grabbed my leg. I kicked out at it, and quickly pulled myself up the rest of the way. Thank god zombies weren't very strong. I kicked at it with my other foot, cringing in disgust as part of it's head came off, and lost part of it's grip on me. Just the thought of something so... dead.. touching me sent a shiver up my spine.
I was practically sitting on the edge, the zombie trying to both pull me down, and crawl up me. I was scared I'd fall back down. I then pulled a knife out of my belt and stabbed it in the face, causing it to make horrid gurgling sounds. After a moment, it went limp, and I wasn't expecting the sudden weight, which I should have, and it almost pulled me down with it, causing me to fall a bit, but I refused to let go of the side of the ceiling. I shook the body off, and hauled myself up again, laying on my back on the roof, breathing heavily, my hands on my stomach. "God d*mn." I said, not to anyone in particular.

I gasped as the zombies came barging in, I tried to help him up, but it seemed he had other things to worry about, once he had killed the zombie, I scooted to the side as he got himself up in between me and Alekka. I took a deep breath and began to slowly walk away from the hole in the ceiling, I didn't go to slow, but I didn't go to fast, I stopped whenever I felt the ceiling dipping in. I stopped when I reached the end of the ceiling, I looked down from the top and saw only two or three zombies in the distance I took a sigh of relief and saw a ladder next to my feet, that's where we'd get down at. I then began to walk back to the group, "we've got to get the injured down first", I said to the others.

Freaking out as Ross seemed on the verge of death - literally - I scrambled to think of something, anything, to do to help him, he seemed to be capable of saving himself. Shoving the last of the zombies off of himself, I carefully grabbed him by the shoulders as he lay back panting, trying to drag him a bit away from the edge, in case the zombies that remained in the abandoned room figured out that they could use the chair to hoist themselves up. "Holy.." I breathed, my heart in my throat. As Dawn came back to me, telling the lot of us that the injured needed to be let down first. I nodded once, snatching her bag from the floor of the aluminum roof, rummaging hastily through it for a few water bottles. I passed one to everyone; depleting our water source completely, but we needed it. "One minute, just one minute.." I breathed, needing to calm my frayed nerves, knowing Ross and Banner probably needed it more that I did. The fox still pacing around us set me on an edge, but I ignored it, trusting that it wouldn't give away our position to any more zombies than the ones gathered in the cluttered room below.

I glanced over at Dawn, watching as she pulled Michael further from the hole. I didn't think she was strong enough to do that. "Thanks."I said, and gratefully took a water bottle from Alekka, drinking about half of it right away. I sat up, my heart rate slowing down. I looked at Dawn. "Okay. But how are we going to do that? We're atleast two or three floors up, aren't we?" I asked, thinking. Maybe there was a fire escape.

((attempted to read it all... but failed XD sorry recap please? Read it all =D i know she was put on the roof and that everyone seems to hate her except alleka *although i just think she doesnt automatically hate carvar..* Oh and to the new person rp'n Hi and welcome!! oh and ps, nobody knows that carvar is carvar, shes the silent injured girl currently XD anyway thanks!))

I let myself go limp as i was pulled up onto the roof by a dirty mongrel. As soon as i was up, i leaped over to join carvar, but then i spotted a large over-hanging branch... Did carvar remember what i taught her about tree jumping? Or would her leg slow her down... i didnt know, or care really. She needed to get away from these people they obviously hated her, who knew they might even kill her after when there not distracted by the HalfDeads down there.
(Ps Tavo calls most humans Mongrels, much like humans call him a mongrel. Oh and he doesnt say "zombie" he says HalfDead so does carvar)
♥From Carvars point of view♥
"oh cr*p.." i murmured. I had attracted HalfDeads.. So many halfdeads- i cringed as i remember what they did to mother. I shudder and stand seeing if the leg can take any weight. It can but it hurts like crazy, i almost collapse then remember what Tavo showed me, how to ignore pain. I couldnt use this leg like normal but it wouldn't get in the way that much... Unless someone made me remember that it hurt like h*ll... I ignored every face around me, made myself distant. Like the way i was when i found out- Oh stop carvar just stop. i shook my head. This is happening to someone else- and that someone is going to climb that tree. The one Tavo was pacing under, i climbed onto the first branch using my other leg as well, what it was. Dead weight. I only made it to the second branch before i almost fell, i decided it would be best to just stay on this branch. I stared down at all the people, all there micro expressions were of worry or hatred- of me... I sighed and tried to get comfortable with no result and so i just waited.
(carvars the "wild girl" XD she knows how to live in the wild... but has no idea how to make friends or fit in or anything..)
