Fabian watched him for a second before looking away. She didn't know why, but she just couldn't hold his gaze. "I-I'm gonna be ok." She said somewhat sadly. Slowly pulling up her leggs, she curled up in a small ball in her seat. Resting her head on her knees she turned her head to look at him. Fai could tell by the look in his eyes that he was worried about her and she felt like it should make her feel a little less on her own. But it didn't. "Today's my first actual full day out of the hospital." She said quietly, looking down and away.

"y-you dont have to t-tell me and i know i-its none of my b-business, but how did y-you get hurt?" he asked quietly, he was afraid to ask, but he had to. he wanted to know how he could help her and if she would get hurt again. he looked at her, scared of the answer. her first day out of the hospital- that explained a lot, she was brave to go outside so soon. when he had gotten out of a hospital after a couple weeks he had stayed in his room for weeks, but that was for a different reason.

Sufficient punishment is delivered tenfold, which is why he was landed in Rosewater to begin with, and he has been working to keep things bottled in longer than usual.

●History: Carlisle's father was very abusive when it came to fire, using mainly cigarette butts to inflict casual harm on his mother, whom he loves very much, causing an innate hatred for all things hot and flammable. Utilizing flame as a weapon against his father was used liberally and grew from the burning of his father home.

Fabian turned back to look at him. She didn't really want to tell him, but he looked so worried. "I..." she mumbled, sitting up and leaning against the back of her chair. Fai herself had never told anybody her story before. "I tried to... I tried to kill myself." She said, surprised to here the words come out of her mouth. It was so blunt, and true. "I woke up at like two in the morning, went into the kitchen and stabbed myself..."

he looked at her with shock, partially at what she did and partially that she told him "w-why?" he asked, purely as a question, not astonishment, or pity, or disgust or any of those responses he hated and got from normal people at his actions, he had never tried to kill himself though.

Fabian felt an explosion of pain and greif in her heart. Her mind went directly to her brother. How he's forever gone. How she never got to say goodbye. Looking staight a head, she went mute. Her brother was a part of her she would never share. Talking about him was a piece of her strong enough to break down her walls. Turning her head to look at him, she just barely shook her head before one small tear rolled down her cheek. Quickly swipping it away, she was kind of shocked. She hadn't cried in forever, even if it was only one tear.

as he saw her tear he instantly knew he stepped over a very important line. he cursed himself under his breath "s-sorry" he said quickly, hoping she wouldn't hate him for asking that- why did he ask that?! he had to say something, he was panicked- he said the first thing to come to his mind "d-do you h-hate me?" he said quickly- realizing after he said it what he had said. he bit his lip nervously waiting for her response, at least he had changed the subject so she wouldn't cry, even if she said yes, as long as she didn't cry it was ok.

Fabian was kind of surprized by his responce. There was no way she'd hate him over a question. Actually, if she were him, she'd probitly want to know more too. Just knowing more in her case, was a little to personal. "I certainly don't hate you. It would take a lot for me to hate you." She said after clearing her voice and takeing in a deep breath. He was so amazzing for caring in her mind. In her life before here, nobody cared. Nobody was there for her. Nobody but her brother, and he was gone. Switching thoughts to the morning she'd attempted suicide, she tried to remeber more of what happened. All she could remember was leaving her room. After that, everything went blank, and that scared her. "I-I... Can I trust you not to think I'm insane if I tell you something?" She said quietly, shifting back into a ball with her head turned towards Echo resting on her knees.

he was surprised at her response, it would take a lot to hate me?? he was still turning it over in his mind when he heard he question "o-of coarse, i-it would take a lot f-for me to think you're i-insane" he said, not saying the real truth behind those words- because im insane myself. he was insane, when he was in one of his 'sessions', which started when he thought about-- no! i wont go into that, not now, he thought. turning his full attention back to fabian.

Fabian glanced away, taking in a breath to calm her nerves. She wasn't sure she could get herself to admit it out loud. When ever anybody in the hospital asked her about that night, she would either not reply or give them the jist of what happened. But she needed to tell someone. This wasn't one of her secrets she could withstand. It scared her. "I can't remember what happened that night... all I remember is waking up and going to the door. After that, everythings blank." She said, stairing down at her hands.
