✯ｐｌｏｔ.
The Burrow is an old pub located in the Outer London, in the very edge of the city. The place is provided with a bar and a stage, and customers delight themselves with dancing performances and other musical shows, realized by the same staff, night after night. See, The Burrow is not what it used to be years ago... its previous owner died, and left the pub to his only son. Nothing changed, but the personnel. With a little talent and good eye for business, who knows, it may be restored to its old glory.



✯ｃｈａｒａｃｔｅｒｓ.

THE DIRECTOR; A widower in his early forties, that still has very good looks. He's egocentric and proud of his knowledge in theatre and music; but he is hardly any good with numbers.

THE PIANIST; The director's son, somehow cursed by the fact that his mother died while giving birth to him, which he's constantly reminded of by his father. He's awfully talented; but his envious father won't recognize it. This makes him a good-hearted person and quite unsure of himself, but willing to gain respect. We hope he gains it before his hopes finally crash and his perfect will cracks.

THE DANCER; This woman, instead, got through adolescence without the love of a father, having lost him at the age of 11. Because with her talent, she could go far...

this man goes by the name of jonathan. he was born 45 years ago, in a family economically accomodated; his mother didn't work, whereas his father, raymond, ran the burrow with great success. jonathan always showed great talent for music and theatre, but never for numbers. he worked at the burrow until his father passed; then he became the new owner of the pub. it was at that moment that the place started to sink.

jonathan stands at the height of 1,89 metres, which is pretty tall. in spite of his age, his looks are very well kept, it's mostly a genetic thing, although he also does his part; he colours his white hairs, and he also uses creams to stay free of wrinkles. the man is quite metrosexual, he's always worried about wearing good clothes and using exquisite perfumes.

the director had his son very young, before his 25th birthday. his beloved wife couldn't make through the birth of their child; this made jonathan quite a despicable man, anguished of what he's been through in his life. he used to wash away these memories by drinking, and of course, he ignored his child all the time he could.

one day, jonathan met this fresh flower, full of life. the dancer. there was an instant spark between the two, and the spark soon turned into a flame. they were lovers for barely months, but he can't let her go. he won't. she turned the most important thing in his life, and while they struggle to keep the relationship a secret, he's calculating the way to keep her just for himself.

jonathan has went through a lot of stress, and still is; but is there a better way to wash out your worries with a bottle of ol' whisky and a good cigar?

kristen talea lewis was born twenty one years ago, on december fifth. she is a shy but still bubbly young woman who enjoys singing. red hair and brown eyes would describe kristen's outer features. a slim figure and bright eyes that show joy and happiness. the young dancer seeks attention from her mother and is shy around most people but outgoing around her best friend the pianist. kristen won't admit it but she has feelings for her bestfriend, though she doubts he will see past the shy wallflower she truly is. ...

xxxxxThe woman now known simply as Violette Allegra was born Allison Violet Lewis in the year 1984. She is twenty nine years old, her date of birth being 3.19.84. She had a younger sister, who was born when she was eight, and a loving and hardworking mother who cherished them both. Her father was quite good to them, as well, but he died from natural causes when Allison was just eleven. Their mother slumped into a deep depression after the death, and Allison was left to care for her younger sister. The sad little family lived off the remnants of their father's well-paying job until Allison graduated from high school, and began working to take care of her sister. Allison was forced to drop her dance classes after the death, but she still retained her wonderful talent at it, and began dancing in bars to pay the bills. Not the most respectable profession, but Allison was quite good at it. She started going by Violette Allegra; a stage name turned identity. Her dream was always to be on Broadway; the girl is talented at theater as well, but she realized this dream was unattainable and quickly resigned herself to dancing wherever she could find work. She had always been a bit of an attention hog, soaking up their mother's adoration and always with a guy. She wants to be loved, more than anything, and she takes many lovers as compensation for the male presence she lacked as a young girl. When she began frequenting the Burrow, she met Jonathan, and she took him as a lover; of course, he's not the only one. She has a whole slew of them, and flirts with and seduces most guys she meets. She looks down on his son, however, and even though he's a sweet kid, she doesn't feel any sort of attraction to him. She could get any guy she wants, with her looks. Though she's almost thirty, she looks like she just turned eighteen; she's petite and slim, with a dancer's taut figure. She has a bit of a baby face, but she lines her eyes and coats her lips in hopes of reversing this. She has no wrinkles, yet; her skin is flawless. Her and her sister have similar looks, but her sister got their mother's firey red hair, which Violette envies greatly. She's a lover of the arts, for sure, and she tries to maintain a classy lifestyle. Her dreams have been crushed by reality, and she often believes things are too good to be true. She's declined many job offers and auditions because of it; she doesn't trust anyone. She may not be the most educated, but she's very cunning and smart, and has a way with words. She's also manipulative. Nice wouldn't necessarily describe her, but she doesn't go out of her way to be rude to people. She's a perfect example of the line from the West End show: "Life has killed the dream I dreamed."
