You are a single parent. It's been hard being on your own. You have to balance a job, school if youre going, all the bills, youre love life an of course your children. Sometimes life is unbearable but those moments when you watch your son or daughter smile at you, those are the best moments in life. To have someone else's life in the palm of your hands, to love an protect this tiny life, those are what makes all these hardships worth while. No, it's not easy raising kids alone. But it's not as awful as you might think. In fact, there are some wonderful benefits. As a single parent, you are free to indulge all those little idiosyncrasies that you try to rein in when you live with someone else. If you're a neatnik, you can give in to your compulsions and hang things in military order by color, size, or type of garment; if you're not, you can wallow in disarray. You can sleep late or retire early, eat crackers in bed, watch old movies, leave all the windows open, let the dog sleep next to you. After years of tenuously maintained compromise, you get to do what you want when you want. You can break the rules. You are already different by virtue of being a single parent, so what do you risk by not conforming to relatively unimportant traditions? For example, you can look them straight in the eye and say, "Yes, after dinner, I bathe them and dress them in their sweats for the next day and put them to bed. When they get up, all I have to do is put shoes and socks on them. You got a problem with that?" Is my living room untidy? I'm a single parent; I have better things to do. Ask me what I cooked for dinner last night and I'm likely to say cereal. Am I late for church? Well, you know -- I have to get (insert # of kids here) kids ready, all on my own."

○Literacy is very important in this role play. I count this as semi-literate, However, I realize that there are many definitions of semi-literate. Personally, I'd like you to write a minimum of 3-4 sentences, 2-4 lines. I find this reasonable with proper spelling and grammar. I understand the occasional mistakes and writers blocks. But, still, it's not that difficult to type that much. We are only human and this practically happens to everyone, occasionally that is. Also, I do not want to see any text talk taking place in OCC or character posting. This is generally irritating and annoying, it also takes away from the beauty of the actual role play.

○In order to join you also must be active, I would ideally like you to be able to post at least once every two days, but that might change. I understand if school becomes more challenging and you need some extra time off but please PM me about this. If you are inactive for a period of two weeks I shall kick you without warning, not to be harsh or anything. Since it's summer though, you might be able to get on more. But, anyway, if you plan on going out of town or anything, let me know, this way, I don't delete you.

○I have the right to kick you, I don't care if what you did was not "major" I still have the right to kick you. I know that may sound harsh but I will give you a "three strikes and you're out" type of warning. If you break a rule again then you will be kicked out of this role play. I prefer you don't try to argue with me as these are my rules and my role play. Well, a re-make of a pre-owned role play. If you don't like them you may role play somewhere else, but I do not tolerate it.

○I will be proving you a form. But I want to see how creative you can be! Deck it out with whatever you possibly want; I don't care! However, just keep in mind that it doesn't have to be perfect with well written paragraphs and perfect grammar. But, on the other hand, it also can't be completely trashy with no pictures or changed font. Try to find something in the middle and something that's comfortable and works well for you.

○Understand the fact that you can only have a maximum of three characters not including their children. This way, other members are able to join the role play as well. Don't make a character that is already dating another character. It doesn't make this role play fun. At all. Period. Get them to meet other people! Also, do not - I repeat - do not kill another member's character without the owner's permission! It would be disrespectful to them and I personally don't want arguments to happen. Make sure that your posting is also in third person. It makes posts easier to understand. Also, when you join, try and have your characters be in different social groups. This basically adds on to what I mean by getting to know other people.

○I would like all out of character comments to be in brackets. This is more pleasing to the eye and also helps people separate your actual talking from whatever your character is doing/saying. Brackets can be {} [] () /\ or anything that distinguishes your text from your actual post. Also, if people ask for a recap, give it to them. Or, try the best that you possibly can to give it to them. I know that a lot of major things can happen in a role play.

○This is a child friendly website, and because of this, you must keep this role play PG-13. If anything gets too awkward or sexual please do a time skip or take it to PM. Also, swearing and cursing can be an issue, if you feel the need to use heavier language please star out the vowels of the word that you happen to choose. Words I don't count as swears are damn, hell, and crap.

○All of Nick and Tess's rules apply. If you are not familiar with these I ask you go read them before joining.

○Try not to go over ten pages without me. If I happen to be out of town, though, the maximum amount of pages will be twenty, but this depends on how long I'd be out of town for.

○Please just ask me to be a mod over this role play. .

○If you want to reserve a character, then PM me about reserving. So this way, it's not utter insanity. I usually have a twenty four hour reservation limit, but depending on the reason as to why you may not be able to send it to me in that time frame, it can be extended.

Personality
Troy is as loyal as he is curt and cynical. He will take through guile what he cannot through force. Watching others succumb to the madness has set in a hidden compassion as well as a spark of paranoia, and if this latter trait is pointed out he will only refer to it as "caution". Though he is quiet and skulking much of the time, Troy's loyalty to those he believes deserves it,is nearly unmatched. He has both cunning and ferocity in spades, but prefers diplomacy over bloodshed and would rather suffer in silence than pester someone with his problems. Troy has a sort of cynical personality. He's somewhat demented an over bearing. He becomes very protective to those he cares about an distant from those that have hurt him.Troy is described bubbly because, well that's just one of the ways to describe him. He loves to have fun, and likes making jokes at the weirdest time possible. It's hard for Troy to find good friends because sometimes his 'friends' take him for granted and just use him as a back up friend if somethings go wrong somehow. Because of people that did this to him, he doesn't hand his trust to anyone like candy to kids on Halloween. It takes time - and patience - to gain his trust and after that happens there is no turning around. You are stuck with him like the straving stray you fed.

Troy might appear to be one of the most confident guys you'll ever crossed paths with and 'cause of this so called "confidence", Troy is often times labeled as obnoxious and very annoying though he tries hard not to be. 'Course this confidence has a plus side: Many spontaneous adventures into the closest available off limit location. He doesn't believe that you should stay crammed in a room, slowly becoming a vampire from your lack of sunlight and vitamin D. He believes that you should always live your life then after you screw everything up then and only then can you hide in your parent's house and become a vampire. Troy was born into a rich family but his parents were never home because of their jobs. His father is a large business man that always travels an his mother is a surgeon. He has a couple siblings that he rarely sees. Troy started acting out for attention but his parents still didn't notice an when they did it just made their disappearance worse. Troy finally started following his own calling an now he isn't home as well. He found that he was really amazing at graffiti. Painting the world and adding color to boring grey.

delilah's childhood was great. she got almost everything she ever wanted and was over flown with love and affection from her loving parents. although, when she was starting to grow up, the love and affection from her parents slowly diminished. her life hit rock bottom when she was fifteen. it was her first year of high school and a group of knit tight friends who always had each others back. our poor little anxiety-filled delilah was just a little girl in the real world. she didn't really know right from wrong when she was in high school. she was easily seduced by the older men, and that is exactly what happened. his name was connor, the football-playing, junior and just after a couple of weeks, him and delilah were dating. after a couple of months, they were both at the top of the ranks of popularity and were invited to all of the parties. at one particular party, they did it, making the petite blonde got pregnant. of course her parents were ferious, but she wasn't getting an abortion. she was quite excited that she had a little baby growing inside of her. nine months later, out came penelope. that was when delilah had to grow up and take responsibility. connor was right there beside her, every step of the way. a couple years later, penelope got pregnant again by connor. although, this time when winston was born, connor couldn't deal with the pressure of being a dad anymore, so he dumped delilah. leaving her to handle two growing kids by herself.

Erik ended up having a one night stand with some girl from a club. A month later she popped up telling him she was pregnant and that she didn't want it. Course Erik convinced her to keep it and when he/she was born he would take care of his child. So 8 months later his baby girl Marylin was born,and a week later the mother was gone. Yea it was hard to take care of His child,since he Knew nothing about taking care of a baby. Though now Marylin is his pride and joy, though he can get a bit irritated and annoyed, but that doesn't change his love for her.
