[Revelations.]

I smiled and returned her wave with a small finger wiggle. "Saw you were alone." I gestured to the table and opened up my lunchbox. I took out my tuna sandwich and took a bite, not sure what to do now. I had never had conversations at lunch, how does that work? Do you talk in between bites? Do you not talk until you're done eating? How do normal people do this?

I pulled away to face the pain.

I chewed down some more tater tots, uninterested in the conversation. Like I said, I was terrible at making other friends. Toby was a spark of protectiveness, and everyone else, male or female, is just.. Eh. But I'd at least swallow my indifference and include myself. Partly. "So yeah. Someone spark up something awesome in conversation for us to talk about." I pointed my spork at both of them, raising my brows like I was completely serious. Toby tried his luck at speaking, then retreated to the safety of his tuna sandwich. I grinned inside, wondering how people could pick on him when he was such a puppy.

"Yeah, I haven't really made any friends, yet." Allison said answering Toby, kind of embarrassed." Last year I has a couple friends, but they moved away."She added with an awkward smile. She grabbed her turkey sandwich she had already dumped on the table, and opened the ziplock bag, she pulled the sandwich out, and began taking the crust off the side of the bread.

[Revelations.]

I nodded slowly. "That sucks.." I then turned to Sloane, chuckling. "Why don't you? I'm sure you've got tons of interesting things bouncng around in your head." I smiled a little an took a sip of my juice box. I don't care if I'm too old for those, they are delicious.

Allison proceeded to mention the loss of her friends due to area moving, leaving me blank faced. I don't know if condolences are meant to be expressed to that sort of thing. It's like she had no idea I just said anything. That was.. Cheery. Toby poked at me, suggesting I should come up with a topic myself. I peered down at my mashed potatoes and thought carefully. Everything that popped into my head was graphic. Nope, wouldn't work. Hmm. "Pet talk. Who has 'em?" I clapped as though it were important, giving the two a curious look. I felt it was brighter than the other topic, anyways.

Allison smiled at Toby for drinking a juice box, my little brother drinks those she said to herself. She then finished peeling the crust off of her sandwich, and began taking small bites out of it. She set her sandwich down for a moment and took a sip if water from her water bottle. Then resumed eating her sandwich. But she looked up at the girl curiously, due to the fact she clapping loudly.

Music class felt like it lasted a minute and a half. I finished up my practice, my teacher giving me a pat on the back of acknowledgement before asking the class to exit. I did just that, throwing my hoodie back up over my head. I still felt a chill despite the thick jacket, but then again, my body was kind of opposed to cold weather. I stalked through the halls with a far stare on nothing, opening the doors to the lunch room with eerie silence. I stepped up to the counter and ordered my food, giving the lunch woman the usual change. I picked up the trey and selected what I wanted before slinking over to an isolated table.
