I looked over just as another girl came up and talked to me. What is it today? Is there some kind of 'talk to the most losers you can find' competition? I was getting ready to freeze up again, but I found my confidence had been slightly boosted with one friend on my roster. "Um...yeah. he kind of hates me." I scratched the back of my head and continued to stare at the pink slip. Despite my confidence boost, I was still scared of eye contact.

Alison tried to catch his eye, but he wouldn't let her, so she just continued to talk," He hates everyone, and everyone hates him." She said matter-of-factly. She couldn't help notice how unconfident he looked. She could change that.

Oh no. Now the coach was heading Spring's way, wasn't this day just great! Spring was handed a pink slip,and her cup was taken away, crumbled up and tossed into the trash can. She sat dumbfounded, before grabbing her stuff up. Yeah, just because she was popular didn't mean she went too detention everyday. Spring glared at the trash can, mentally kicking it and hurting herself, just like in the movies.

I shrugged, adjusting my glassees and scratching the back of my head again. Jeez, it was gonna start bleeding if people kept talking to me. "Yeah, I guess so..." I mentally egged myself to say more. Friends were nice, and I wouldn't get more without talking.
God, what's wrong with me? "I guess that's why he's so grouchy." I managed to get more out, but I stuttered on a few of the words. Great. I'm a lonely nerd and that's all I'll ever be.

She let out a little chuckle and smiled." You seem nervous, why is that?" She asked him.Aw, it's so cute when adjusts his glasses. she said to herself, then smiled slightly at the thought. She looked curiously at him waiting for his response

Spring mentally slapped the coach, kinda smiling at the thought. She made her way out the door, pausing too smile and wave ar Alison.

Oh, lord. What is it with girls and tough questions? What am I supposed to say? Why is she talking to me? Why is this day so complicated? I opened my mouth and closed it again lik a fish. Then I adjusted my glasses and scratched my head. Ow. It was starting to hurt. Okay, all confidence, gone. "um..I dunno." I mumbled, staring ay my shoes.

I zipped the lip as the coach came up, letting his wife troubles loose on Toby through peevish ranting. I grit my teeth with restraint, crossing my arms as an already prepared pink slip was handed to him. Some popular chick came up and started giving him a sort of up and down eye rape, which made me feel obligated to scream into a pillow with irritation. Something about girls coming up and hitting on guys I'm talking to as if I'm not even there, even if I have no interest in them, makes me wanna pan someone in the throat. "'Scuse me." I told her, stepping in front of her to pick up a dodge ball. I held it in my hands, studying it for a moment before smiling and chucking it at the coach's back. It hit hit head on, back of the neck. I welcomed his red faced response as he stomped over, practically shoving a pink slip into my own hands and letting loose a higher pitched roar of anger. As he stormed off, facepalming, I waved the blush colored piece of paper at Toby and grinned. "Told you."

She saw the girl, she probably creeped out, waving at her, so she smiled politely and waved back. She then turned her attention back to the guy she was talking too.She laughed a little and smiled at him." You're funny. I like you." She said, still with a smile. He adjusted his glasses again! she said to herself.
