Rayne faltered with relief as Selly turned in the other direction and went to the bathroom. Selly had kissed him on the cheek and he felt the mark on his cheek. He solemnly swore to himself that he would never wash his cheek. His heart pounded after Selly and he followed her inside.


Julie saw her friend walk in and she sighed in relief. She gave her friend a squeeze and helped her friend to the bathroom handing her he phone as she walked in. She waited outside the bathroom and chatted cheerfully with Rayne as they waited for her to come out.

Selly smiled at Rayne as they walked in. "Julie! I'm so glad your here!" she ran up and hugged her tightly. And held her hand as Julie helped her to the bath room. She came out two minutes later looking like the pretty Sel she was before the incident. "Hi guys. Hey Julie I have a huge favor for you, I dropped my shoes outside somewhere, can you please go find them for me? I have to clean up my phone still."

But no. Zigzag refused himself such a "cowardly" exit. Even if he was ready to give everything up, he wasn't about to do it in a way that required the assistance of others. They'd only turn around and turn him into a social w****. Again. Cringing at the thought, Zigzag went back to gazing at the crowd, but his eyes weren't focused on the people. He was still caught up in his own head, thinking about himself, Echo, and the ever-looming loneliness.

Julie smiled at Selly happily. "sure anything for you" she quickly began looking for the girls shoes and it was quite the challenge as it was dark and there were many amounts of people around. She finally found the silver heels and had to wait for the crowd to pass before she could return them but she went to the wrong bathroom and got stuck in the crowd of people in this stupid ballroom. "Why does this always happen to me?" she murmered as she was claimed for yet another dance by some brute who didnt know what he was doing.

I let her lead me to a table and sat down, what did she want from me? I had no clue. I bit my lip nervously and looked at her, waiting for her to say something. She was... Different. Of course the only person my age I had talked to in years was zigzag and she was very different than him. A sharp pain in my heart reminded me- zigzag, and how he left, i hope he's ok. I stopped thinking and stared back at the girl, waiting.

Selly smiled at Julie and thanked her, watching her walk out the door. "Okay, well my phone is basically ruined, I might've thrown it down a little too hard." she smiled half heartedly at Rayne. "Can you help me see if it'll work? I have to open it and I'll need you to hold it for me." she picked her phone up off a table she had set it down on.

Rayne held out his hand for her to place her phone in his hand. He was still clueless as to what was going on with Selly. He just stood there waiting and held his hand out. "You still owe me an explanation" he said warmly in a bit of a teasing tone.

Akira a smiles at him as they sit. "So what's your name? And please don't look like I'm going to eat your face any second. I'm really a kind person" she had no idea why she was being so nice to him she never had tried to befriend anyone. Normally they tried to befriend her

Fiddling with a corner of his mask, Zigzag found himself retreating further into his head, but instead of more sorrow he was now finding a muse. He was refused his notebook upon leaving the house, his mother gently removing it from his hands just before he walked out the door, but he still had a blue ballpoint pen in his coat pocket. Glancing around but once to make sure those foolish security guards weren't around, Zigzag withdrew the pen and looked down at the white table cloth before him, the surface practically begging for him to write on it. The tall tragedy at once tuned out his surroundings and set to work.
