I sighed as I ran a hand through my hair. Sure, I was just a little annoyed. But I tried to remain smiled because that's just what you had to do on the tours. I was in the middle of talking about the sea turtles when a little girl came up to me and pulled at my pant leg. I smiled and bent down to her size. "Hey. Do you have a question for me?" I asked, watching as she nodded her head. "I tried to raise my hand but you didn't see..." The little girl whimpered. I just puffed out my lower lip. "I'm sorry about that. Now that you have my attention, why don't you tell me what you question is?" I asked her, watching as she blushed and giggled. "I forgot... Oh wait. I remember. Can me and Winter be best friends like you and her are?" I grinned, this little girl was defiantly brightening up my mood. "I'm sure you guys can be. In fact, take this." I said, lifting a necklace off of my neck. It was just a simple string necklace with a dolphin at the end of it with Winter's name carved it to the back. "If you take this then you and Winter will always be together." I said, watching as she just giggled and grinned some more, hugging my leg. "Thank you." She said before running off to her mom and telling her about everything.

Billy yawned as he walked through Clearwater, deciding he was too warm to put the wetsuit on he decided to stay in his cargo swimming shorts, besides it wasn't like someone would try yelling at him for it. He glanced around to see if Elizabeth was here, guessing the odds were that she was already with the young, playful dolphin Hope. With that he headed of through the park, glancing at a few of the other animals along the way before reaching Hope's, a grin spreading across his face as he seen Elizabeth, "Well me lassie, it looks like you beaten me 'ere again." He said, looking down to see the needle in her hand. "Hope ain't gonna be taljin to you for awhile." Billy said, slipping down to sit beside her on the end of the pool, looking at the dolphin, "If you want I'll be the one given 'er the needle, then she'll be given me the hard shoulder er fin."

Eliza's eyes lingered on the beautiful baby dolphin hovering in the water infront of her, with only seconds to pass until Billy's footsteps echoed in the room. Turning her head in the direction of the footsteps, Eliza watched as the tall Scottish man walked into view wearing nothing but his board shorts. She sent him a warm welcoming smile as he came and sat down next to her, speaking with his strong scottish accent and using funny words Eliza had only heard in movies. The freckle-faced teen smirked at the words such as lassie and taljin, she didn't know many scottish people. When Billy suggested to take over Eliza considered doing it herself, for the practice. But then thought about the kick, Hope would do once it was over and done with. Adding to that, Eliza wasn't too keen on the whole injection thing anyways, so she was certain she wasn't suitable for the job. "Yeah, I think that might be best thank you. But I can apply the alcohol," She said flipping open the small lid to a bottle of alcohol, and pouring a good amount into her hands. She wiggled it around in the indent of her palm, before rubbing it discreetly on the dolphins back.

move. I also grew up dancing
and listening to music. Dancing
is my passion and I do it for more
then just fun. I love dancing
competitively and it is kinda my
job as well. I am scared of
relationships and I'm don't trust
people easily ever since my father
walked out on us. I also work often
because my family is always low on
money. That's all there is to it."

The first job that I got was

It was a small place and didn't get

When I had found out that I could
dance and get payed for it, that was
the perfect job for me. I love to

dance for money... That was a dream
come true. I can bring in enough
money now to help out my family.
Though I've never actually spent it on
myself... I only actually have one hobby
and that's dance. Though dance is way
more then a hobby. My styles are
modern/contemporary, lyrical,

At the sound of a familiar voice, to which belonged to his partner - and by partner that meant co-worker - the dark haired employee twisted his head a fraction to confirm it was Brylee. And, well, it was no surprise she was right; Mathias almost never came into work early, came on time, or was the first to take care of the sharks. However, it was the night before he had watched a documentary on their species which intrigued him and gave the guy some ambition to wake up early and care for the sharks. Oh, and coming in earlier had something to do with watching Employee of the Month; the concept of the movie really had an effect on him that gave inspiration to do a golden job today. Anyway, once his head was turned that fraction, Mathias also supplied a nod and his eyes slowly shined with amusement. He hadn't said anything to Brylee...yet. Of course he'd had to talk sooner or later; later was good for him considering they had a job to do. Conversing would have been great since they would be working together but Brylee was already busying herself and Mathias felt causing a distraction would be fatal for Thelma. Though, as he watched Brylee (in a non-creepy way, the 'oh no you can't tell what i am thinking' kind of stare) he could not help but notice she was kind with the shark and not entirely jumpy around them. Yes, it would scare girls if they had to work with these animals but it hadn't phased his co-worker too much. This was impressive, just not enough for Mathias to show his acknowledgement and respect.
Once Brylee had finished her job, the tattooed twenty year old slowly clapped his sides with his hands. It was in a sarcastic way, everything Mathias did was either sarcastic, snarky, rude, or in a smart *** attitude. Even though it seemed Mathias did not have a sweet side, it was buried deep within his negative, egotistical emotions. "I wouldn't go about saying I'm early, I prefer the term 'wow, mathias, you've made an effort! wonderful job!' it's better in context and sends warm feelings throughout my body. Also, since we are co-workers, helping these sharks out and creating a relationship with them, I figure it would be a great idea, for the sharks' benefits, if we also create a friendly relationship between us. This is why I am proposing you and I spend some time together outside of work and try to get to know one another. Dinner would be a great way to start this out. And, if you disagree with this, it isn't up for discussing; you're going anyways."

Victoria looked around for a moment, attempting to pick just one person out of all the raised hands. A little freckled boy struggled to be seen in the back row, obviously dying to ask a question. "Yes?" Victoria spoke, pointing to the boy. "What does Winter eat? and how much does she weigh?" he asked curiously.
"As a carnivorous cetacean, Winter does eat fish. You see, there are two variations of Bottlenose dolphins; a coastal and an offshore. Winter is a coastal, so she does mainly focus on small fish rather than squid and crustaceans, as the offshore version would prefer. In a day, an adult dolphin can consume 2-4% of their bodyweight. An adult male could eat 20 pounds of fish, while a nursing mother could consume upwards of 40. It varies on the age, gender, and size of the dolphin. Winter weighs about 500 lbs, so she could consume about 15-20 pounds of small fish. Any other questions?" Victoria asked, feeling sorry for the little boy whom had never looked more confused. She was terrible with kids..they just hated her. Victoria functioned like a robot; she had little to no feelings, a cold temperament, and didn't quite understand the average human mind. Her brain worked in a scientific manner, always wrapping around inquiries and constantly absorbing information like a sponge. Victoria spotted Kasen on the other side of the crowd, talking about Aurora's sea-turtles. He was good with people; she could probably learn a thing or two from him.

I smiled as I continued along with the tour, answering questions as we went along. I guess doing the tour wasn't as bad as I had originally thought it was going to be. Actually, I had got stuck with a nice, considerate bunch of people. Most people that you get in tours were always grump and in considerate of others. Don't even get me started on how rude they were. That's why I didn't like tours. I didn't like doing them for those type of people. But the people who were nice and very polite and who were just overall actually interested in learning new things and asking questions. Those were the type of people that I would do tours for any day. Sadly, you don't always get that though. At the end of the tour I took up some of the last questions they had before telling them to check out the gift shop. A mandatory thing you had to say that the end of every tour. I then let out a sighed relief. That was quite a lot of work. But it was easy for me. I've always been a people person so I'm pretty good with people. After all, this job kinda does require a people person. Well, it doesn't but that is what really helps you out in this kind of environment where different people are always coming and going. Some you may recognize and others you may not. It just all depends really. I walked back over to my locker, peeking out of my clothes to reveal the wet suit that was underneath. I knew that Victoria was still with Winter doing the whole question and answers thing. I was debating on going in and saving her but then I thought not to. Last time I did that she kinda got mad at me... Well, I did kinda dive in to the thing when she wasn't looking. Sure, the crowd had loved the little show I put on but Victoria did not. So I was not going to do that again.

After about twenty minutes of answering questions, the crowd began to dispurse and found something else to take pictures of. Explaining things she'd already been over a number of times to sweaty tourists wasn't exactly her favorite thing about the job, but it had to be done. It was about time for Nicholas' show, so perhaps she could take a break. Victoria stepped out of the pool; she wanted to go for a swim, but the water was already heated up this time of day. The Florida sun was always relentless. Victoria retied her hair bun, for it had come loose and wet strands stuck out in certain places. She opened up her locker, pulling out a bottle of water and taking a sip. "How was the tour?" she asked, not having to look over to know Kasen was there. --sorry, a tad of writer's block.--

I had walked over to the fridge and grabbed myself a water bottle, drinking about half before pouring the rest on my face. It had been searing hot out today and all I wanted to so was go jump in to the lake. But I couldn't. I had responsibilities to deal with. My responsibilities were more important then any vacation. I started to make my way back over to Victoria, surprised by how she knew that I was there behind her. I shrugged slightly. "I seem the cutest little girl there who asked me if she could be Winter's friend. So I gave her my necklace and told her that they would always be together in her heart and that they'd always be friends." I grinned, thinking back to the little girl. I had given her my favourite enclave... But honestly. It was worth it.

"Cute." Victoria grinned. "You know, you're really good with kids. They just take to you. I can hardly carry out a conversation without boring someone to death." she shrugged. It was sort of true; as a child, Victoria had always preferred to talk to adults rather than kids her own age. She didn't really have a best friend or even a relatively close one in middle school, and she had moved to often during her elementary years. Even at twenty-two, Victoria still had trouble communicating with other people. It wasn't that she was quiet, just standoffish at times. While in high-school she had befriended one girl, nicknamed 'Shetland', but she moved back to Ireland to be with her family. It seemed that all her life had to it now was work, studying, and sitting on the couch like a hobo. Perhaps things would change this summer.
