"Cute." Victoria grinned. "You know, you're really good with kids. They just take to you. I can hardly carry out a conversation without boring someone to death." she shrugged. It was sort of true; as a child, Victoria had always preferred to talk to adults rather than kids her own age. She didn't really have a best friend or even a relatively close one in middle school, and she had moved to often during her elementary years. Even at twenty-two, Victoria still had trouble communicating with other people. It wasn't that she was quiet, just standoffish at times. While in high-school she had befriended one girl, nicknamed 'Shetland', but she moved back to Ireland to be with her family. It seemed that all her life had to it now was work, studying, and sitting on the couch like a hobo. Perhaps things would change this summer.

Emily Doe ; Mood: Excited, tired, happy

Emily had been practicing with Nicholas for the show for about an hour and she decided it would be wise to let him get in a brief rest before his show actually started. Emily sat on the platform watching Nicholas swim around in his tank contently, she smiled she was content as well just being here at CMA working with Nicholas made her very happy and she was glad she could come her and not be stressed out like she normally was.

I smiled at her and shrugged. "I don't really know where I got that from. It's weird because I don't have any brothers of sisters or anything. I'm an only child that lives with my mother and really has no father. So I don't know why I am so good with children. Maybe it's just people in general. People always say that they love how positive my attitude is and such." I said, shrugging slightly. It was true though. All my life I have grown to an only child but I remarkably never had any trouble making friends. Maybe that's just because I can talk to almost anybody and get along with them. No matter who they are of where they done from. I also do t judge people like a lot of others do so that's another reason why I could be do good with people. But I have been told this other times before. This wasn't the first time I have been told that I was good with people. I guess I'm just that kind of person.

At the sound of a familiar voice, to which belonged to his partner - and by partner that meant co-worker - the dark haired employee twisted his head a fraction to confirm it was Brylee. And, well, it was no surprise she was right; Mathias almost never came into work early, came on time, or was the first to take care of the sharks. However, it was the night before he had watched a documentary on their species which intrigued him and gave the guy some ambition to wake up early and care for the sharks. Oh, and coming in earlier had something to do with watching Employee of the Month; the concept of the movie really had an effect on him that gave inspiration to do a golden job today. Anyway, once his head was turned that fraction, Mathias also supplied a nod and his eyes slowly shined with amusement. He hadn't said anything to Brylee...yet. Of course he'd had to talk sooner or later; later was good for him considering they had a job to do. Conversing would have been great since they would be working together but Brylee was already busying herself and Mathias felt causing a distraction would be fatal for Thelma. Though, as he watched Brylee (in a non-creepy way, the 'oh no you can't tell what i am thinking' kind of stare) he could not help but notice she was kind with the shark and not entirely jumpy around them. Yes, it would scare girls if they had to work with these animals but it hadn't phased his co-worker too much. This was impressive, just not enough for Mathias to show his acknowledgement and respect.
Once Brylee had finished her job, the tattooed twenty year old slowly clapped his sides with his hands. It was in a sarcastic way, everything Mathias did was either sarcastic, snarky, rude, or in a smart *** attitude. Even though it seemed Mathias did not have a sweet side, it was buried deep within his negative, egotistical emotions. "I wouldn't go about saying I'm early, I prefer the term 'wow, mathias, you've made an effort! wonderful job!' it's better in context and sends warm feelings throughout my body. Also, since we are co-workers, helping these sharks out and creating a relationship with them, I figure it would be a great idea, for the sharks' benefits, if we also create a friendly relationship between us. This is why I am proposing you and I spend some time together outside of work and try to get to know one another. Dinner would be a great way to start this out. And, if you disagree with this, it isn't up for discussing; you're going anyways."

Once Brylee had the blood sample required for the tests, she inserted the red shark blood into a small skinny tube. Brylee heard her partner Mathias behind her, and she listened in to him as she skipped across the stone tiles to the counter. Over there, she sealed the blood sample belonging to Thelma and snatched up the other blood sample which belonged to Louise. Brylee thought that it would be best to get the sample to the lab pronto, and she was about half way out the door when Mathias had finished his sentence about dinner. The idea didn't sound too bad, after all it was only a 'work thing'. Brylee grinned, the words "Sounds great!" Spilling from her lips. She continued to skip down the hall, her hair whipping around behind her, as she made her way to the front desk where she depositied the samples. In less than no time, the people working the desk got the samples to the lab, while Brylee made her way back to her area of the aquarium with the sharks. The day ahead was rather busy and the two work partners had a lot to get done. FIrst of all, the shark's tank needed to be cleaned, and that was always the most annoying part of work. The cleaning. Brylee stopped beside Mathias and slumped back, leaning on the wall. "Well, what should we do first?" She asked, referring to the cleaning of the tank. "The windows?" She suggested, cocking an eyebrow in query. Her voice echoed in the empty room, the spalshing of the sharks being the only thing breaking the silence between them. Thelma and Louise, seemed to get along quite nicely and Brylee seemed to ease her way into Louise's friendzone. Its alway important to have a good relationship with the animals you work with, otherwise theres no point in you trying to train them. None-the-less, work the specific animal with the crowd. However, Thelma was a bit more stubborn and it seemed as though there was a thick block of ice seperating them. Although, on good days Thelma is more... Accepting.
As the question lingered in the air, Brylee found herself edging her way over to todays schedual. It appeared that at eleven-thirty, there was some kind of Shark Presentation, which meant that time was running slim.
