Welcome to Clearwater, Florida. Finally, summer's here! You work at the jewel of the coast, Clearwater Marine Aquarium. This year, everyone pitched in to rent a gorgeous beach house for all the employees and trainers. Looks like it's relaxation from here on out. Or...is it really? You still have all the beloved creatures at the Aquarium to think about, along with their daily care. Besides, who knows when another rescue call is going to come in? Work like this keeps you on your toes. How will you be able to enjoy a lavish beach house and a peaceful summer with all these distractions? You love what you do, but sometimes you think of how nice it would be to get away. Regardless, summer's here anyway, so let's see how all of this plays out!

Note: This is a literate RP, and I do have expectations. I understand that we don't always have a muse, but please try to write at least 4 to 5 lines minimum. In addition, I am allowing characters to have siblings; at the youngest, age thirteen. Your main character's age must be from 17 to 24. This role-play is about how the animals overcame their injuries and scars, and helped their caretakers as well. I don't want any heavy stuff bringin' me down D:

x. Please make your characters the appropriate age. Also, don't put a picture of a 10-year-old on your form and say that he's/she's 21 (believe it or not, it happens). That's not okay. Our general age range is from 17-24. Your character's sibling {if you choose for them to have one} can be 13 at the youngest, and no more than one please. If you went on vacation, would you really bring all your siblings? lol.

They educate the public on how to steer clear of stingrays in the ocean, as well as supervise the daily feeding in which visitors can feed the stingrays. }

Shark caretakers ;; Brylee Bell & Mathias Clemintine. { These daring workers often dive into the shark tank to clean it, as well as spend time and bond with CMA's two sharks, Thelma and Louise. }

Jellyfish caretakers ;; open & Robin Lighten. { They work in the lab as well as monitor the jellyfish tank. They take care of overall tank maintenance, making sure the chemical levels in every pool remain stable. }

Exotic fish experts ;; Quinn & Giovanni Lafromboise { They maintain the tanks, host tours through the 'sea caverns' and talk to visitors about the fish species they care for. }

"Victoria Ember Moon's the name. I'm twenty-one, and hopefully it's obvious that I'm a female....I mean, do I look like a man? I'm from Horsham, England; not really the stereotypical 'Brit', though. I have no accent, seeing that I left Europe when I was two. I have lived in Florida ever since, except for the few occasions when I didn't. I moved a lot when I was young, so we lived in Georgia for a short time, then back in Florida, then back in Georgia, then Florida again. Quite dizzying, I know. Iv'e taken up residence in Clearwater, Florida now. I drive to my university everyday. Normally it would be a stay-in college, but they made an exception since I have my little brother to take care of. Right now I'm working on my degree for marine vetting, which is going to take seven years. Two down, five to go. After that, I'm going back for another five years so I can receive my biologists' diploma and doctorate. After that, I'm done! c; I already have my own marine research center established, which is being managed by my second in command. I'm the chief biologist, and proud to say it! I'm really excited for Summer break, where I can take time off school and take care of my aquarium. five dolphins, six sea-turtles, eight stingrays, twelve seahorses, four sea-otters, nine sharks, one grouper {named burt}, and over 160 species of exotic fish. Oh! and we also have a pelican named Rufus. It's quite a full house. I really don't have much free time anymore, since all this is going on. I won a contest to stay in a beach house this summer, so hopefully that'll give me some time to kick back and just enjoy the Florida sun."

{ p e r s o n a l i t y. }

"I can be very quiet at times, but I'm quite opinionated and fiery. I'm especially proud of my supreme intelligence, but if I'm trying to get someone to go out with me, it can be quite difficult for me. My mind thinks in a mathematical way, rather than a human way. I'm constantly strategizing and thinking ahead of others, learning what I need to do to get anywhere in life. It's sort of nerve-wracking, since I'm not great at socialization, and I find it sort of exhausting. If you get me riled up, I will fight back however. It's not something I'm proud of, but I'm an excellent fighter. When you practically raise yourself, you learn a few things. We were all one happy family until my dad passed away; my mother slipped into a deep depression and she never looked at me again...not directly anyway. She didn't speak to me and I felt like she didn't even know I was there. You see, I look a lot like my father did. Same eyes, nose, hair color, skin color. I guess I reminded my mother too much of him. One day, I came home from school, and she was gone. Like she had never been. That's where my journey started. I have been living with and taking care of my little brother, Sawyer, ever since."

"I have lived in Florida all my life, after I came over from England around the age of two. I started off in Sarasota, Florida. It was paradise, but I was too young to realize it. After that, I moved to this little nowhere town in central Florida. Middle school was miserable; it was full of cute boys, acne, and bad-mouthing girls. I hated females that year and all my friends were guys. It wasn't easy for my little brother, either. He got bullied for a long time, and I eventually went down to the school myself and gave the bullies a good slap in the face and a threat to give them nightmares until their mid-life. I was the most feared person in Ward Highlands Elementary School. Then I got grounded for it. My dad passed away when I was sixteen, and my mom fell into a deep depression. She acted like Sawyer and I weren't even there. One day we came home from school and she was gone. Like she had never been. I got a job as a waitress to keep food on the table, and struggle to pay bills. Eventually we picked up and left, with nothing but two suitcases and a bowl with a goldfish in it. My brother and I went to live in Clearwater/St. Petersburg, Florida. Out dad had taken us there on vacation once, and we instantly fell in love. with everything; the scenery, the happy people, the ocean, and the dolphins of course. Sawyer and I now live in Treasure Island, St. Pete. I couldn't afford much, so we currently live in a hotel suite in a place called Sunset Vistas. And I can come to the conclusion that I've never been happier.

"My family...that's a fun subject. **ahem. sarcasm.** Well, I have a younger brother named Sawyer; he's 13. I'm training in Marine Biology, and I'm also chief biologist at the Clearwater Marine Laboratory. Sawyer has a passion of marine life, as do I. He especially enjoys the company of the dolphins. I see so much of my parents in him, and even myself. It might sound rather mom-ish of me, but Sawyer makes me really proud...when he's not being a little twerp, that is. My mom and dad were innovators; they were both journalists and travelers, and dad wrote novels. My dad was the friendliest, most inquisitive person you could ever meet. He always took Sawyer and I on trips when my mom had to go out of town on business. I loved it when he took us to Clearwater, Florida. I had a fascination with sea life ever since I was a little girl; to see a city dedicated to it's sea life, that was truly amazing. I really miss him.

My mom was a kind, warm, loving soul. The day my dad died, something just snapped in her. She was cold and quiet. Never spoke a word to my brother or I ever again. The day she left was the day my journey started. Now I think I'm the happiest I could ever be. Tourism is up, and worries are down. My mom would have liked to see me succeed. I think she'd be proud if she hadn't changed that day. I don't even know where she is or if she's even alive."

"Aw...why didn't you just tell me you were blind? Well, I have long brown hair with wisps of blonde every now and then. It's like that in the summer. In the winter it turns a very dark brown, sort of like a bay-chestnut color. My skin is pretty tan, a very light olive color naturally. I have never been super-pale like my vampy friends. My fingernails are a natural medium length, and I like to keep them painted light blue to match my eyes. My eyes are a soft, baby blue at times, especially when I cry. Normally, they are a dark ocean blue with a ring of striking hazel around my pupil. I'm fairly thin, but not too thin. I weigh a good 135 lbs. That's normal....right? Oh well. I'm not pudgy and it shouldn't matter to me. My nose is thin and fine, the point rather upward-facing. I have long, thick eyelashes and naturally arched eyebrows. My lips have this natural red color that just stays, so I never really felt the need for lipstick. They have this heart shape about them, too. The shape of my face is normal, I guess. I had chubby cheeks when eye was younger, but they left me revealing tightly-placed cheekbones. Overall, I'm average I guess."

As of now, I'm single. I don't often enjoy being exclusive, and romance isn't usually my strongest asset. I want someone who's really kind and thoughtful, but wont be afraid to help me clean the shark enclosure. I want someone who's as crazy as I am, and just perfect for me. Maybe it's true; maybe boys like that only exist in novels. I have only been in two relationships, since boys often befriend me instead of date me. I once dated a boy named Jack Millington, but It didn't work out...we just didn't have that much in common, which is probably why we weren't friends first. The second boy I was in a relationship with....Oh, I barely remember his name. We dated in the eighth grade, and we had met through my best friend. I had a huge crush on him; I stalked him and knew his entire class schedule by heart. I finally talked to him when I was in eighth grade, and found out the feeling was mutual. Although, I doubt he stalked me the way I stalked him. It was obsessive, compulsive, crazy love.

I don't really have a crush on anyone...or maybe I do. I wouldn't call it a crush, really...he's just someone I like. It's never going to happen anyway; I don't think he likes me back. Plus, I don't like dating people I have to work with."

"Hi, I'm Sawyer Moon. I don't really have a nickname since my name is kind of weird....my mom said it was my grandpa's name or something. I honestly don't even know who my grandpa is. I'm twelve, thirteen in June. I grew up in Florida, travelling here and there. I started off in Sarasota, but I don't remember it at all. We moved to this little nowhere town in central Florida called Ocala; trust me, it was a nightmare. My sister was miserable, as was I. We occasionally took trips with our dad when mom got caught up with work. One that we thoroughly was a trip to Clearwater, and that was when Victoria and I both discovered what we wanted to do and who we wanted to be. Now, she practically owns the Clearwater Marine Aquarium. When I was ten, my dad died. Mom went into a serious depression and pretended that we weren't even there. I guess we just reminded her of dad too much; we had always taken after him, even in our looks. One day when Victoria and I came home from school, we found that she was gone. Like she had never been. My sister was only seventeen, but she managed to take care of me anyway. We took off to Clearwater, and now we live in a waterfront house. She went to university, got a master's degree and a PhD in marine science. I love being at the aquarium; the animals just...get me. I'm not the smartest kid, and I don't really have any friends. I was there all throughout the rehabilitation of Winter, one of our female Atlantic Bottlenose dolphins. I really had this kind of connection with her...something I don't even understand. I love the sea turtles, sting rays, but dolphins are the most amazing by far. I love fishing, kayaking, cooking, and swimming of course. I don't even mind scrubbing the algae off of the tank; it's not so bad.

My personality? Well I guess you could say I'm pretty laid-back. I like hanging out of the beach, paddle-boarding, and skim-boarding. I have also been bugging Vic lately to teach me how to surf. I can get irritable at times, especially when I'm academically frustrated. I'll admit that. A.D.D. {attention deficit disorder}, runs in my family. Sometimes I'm easily distracted and it's hard for me to focus. Overall, I guess I'm average.

I have brown hair, that gets light-ish in the summer. My skin is pretty fair, and I burn easily, unlike my sister who seems to be invincible to the sun. My eyes are a deep blue color, with a hazel ring around my pupil. I have my dad's traits. I'm somewhere in between tall and short right now, but I'm taller than most kids in my class. I weigh 130; yeah, I'm pretty lanky. I have freckles that dot my nose and cheeks, another trait I share with my sister. The bad part is, her's don't show, so I feel like an oddball sometimes. And I guess that's all there is to know about me." :)

"I have been told that I'm bubbly, energetic, kind, and warm. Those are exaggerations, I think. Other than the energetic one, because I'm pretty hyper. Maybe that's why I bond so well with the otters? Whatever, all I know is that I love them. I'm very talkative, and I love to meet new people. :) " Faith is very kind and generous. She spends a lot of her time giving; Faith has worked as a Candystriper in cancer hospitals for children and has done many fundraisers to end global warming, hunger, and violence. She's pretty chill and laid-back at other times, especially after she's finished meditating. Faith was raised christian, but she decided to worship both God and Buddah. She tries to stay away from meat as much as possible, since that would defeat the purpose of her participation in animal conservation events. Faith is very strong-willed at times, but when she's around new people she can be very shy and quiet. Faith is soft-spoken and gentle, especially with the animals she cares for.

Faith's mother died when she was two years old, so she grew up with her father. She spent many nights alone and hurting, for her so called 'dad' was a drunkard. He was incredibly abusive, verbally and physically. By the time Faith was 13, she had run away from home. She lived with her best friend, Nate, and his mom. Nate's mother was incredibly welcoming and accepted Faith like the second child she had always wanted. Growing up was a little bit difficult, but she did have her brother figure to help her along the way. When they Nate and Faith graduated, they both took up residence in Clearwater, Florida. "Nate and I share an apartment. Just as friends, of course. I don't think we could ever be romantic...he's basically my brother. I'm in college right now, working on my bachelor's. Other than that, I'm working as a marine mammal trainer for Clearwater Marine Aquarium. I work with the Otters, even though I'm not officially certified yet. It doesn't matter, though; I'm not going to let even the largest setback keep me from being who I want to be."

So I might as well make the best of it. Years later and the move came. I was upset about it first, but now that we have moved I took a whole new view on things. I mean, I meet a lot of my best friends at my new school and I have more friends then I did when I was living in London. So I really can't complain."

Most of the babysitting is also done throughout my neighbourhood and my mother's friends. We have a lot of little kids in our block and my mom has a lot of friends. I was always busy going out and taking pictures, writing a story, reading a novel, doing homework or playing guitar. Don't get me wrong, I love sports. I just like photography, writing, and guitar playing better. I don't like homework that's for sure. I also love music. I've loved it ever since I was little and still love it do this day. That's why I okay guitar. I also dabble in singing a little to... It's kind of funny because no one ever expects this kind of thing from me. Actually, no one really knows. I don't bother telling anybody because nobody ever listens when I try to tell them. So I just don't even bother with it unless somebody really wants to know."
