Sadie looked over at the ducks, and couldn't help but smile - only slightly. Why was she smiling so much today? She hadn't smiled in months, now she had done it three times in one day. "I wish I had some bread." She said, watching the noisy ducks swim closer.

Luke thought for a moment and opened his guitar case..he had some ritz crackers in case her got hungry. He handed them to her, "here, they aren't bread, but I think they will appreciate it" he said as he held the crackers.

Cody caught up and bit and stopped his board."Are you alright?"He rushed over to her, holding out a hand to help her up.

Annabelle felt kind of hurt, emotionally and physically...she had a headache and had fallen on her wrist. She toke a deep breath and said, "ya, I just need a second, I haven't fallen in a really long time, I don't know what happened" she held her wrist carefully hoping the pain would go away quickly.

Sadie took the crackers. "Thanks." She tossed a cracker near the ducks, and watched as they all went after it. She tossed a few more out, then watched as they ate. When the ducks realized she wasn't tossing more out, they swam closer to the boat, leaning their heads towards her looking for more. She squeaked in surprise and tried to move away from them, closer to Luke.

Luke put his arm around her as if to protect, but realizing what he was doing he toke it away, "sorry, and um I don't have anything else" he said laughing a little at the ducks.

Sadie froze as Luke put his arm around her, not realizing she was so close to him or expecting him to do that. "That's okay." She said, as he let go. She waved her hands at the ducks but still leaned away from them, trying to shoo them away. She laughed, knowing how funny she must look.

Lukenpaused and heard her laugh, he stood up and said, "you have a beutiful laugh" he said pointing out she had laughed. He lEanedover the edge with the dicks and they wanted nothing to do with him, they swam away but stayed near the boat.

Sadie watched him, aware of how close they had to be in the small boat. "Thanks." She murmured, looking at the water. "It's been a while since I've laughed." She said, sighing.

Sadie nodded. "Yeah." She said quietly, but wasn't completely sure if she believed it. Laughing was like a foreign language to her, it felt weird..but good. She felt a little overwhelmed, so many emotions and thoughts. When the boat ride ended, the carefully stepped out of the boat and waited for Luke.

I laughed at what she said as I turned the corner with her and shrugged. "Yeah I guess it would be hard to, but I prefer to keep my handsome face intact thank you," I teased with a smile. She was nice to talk to I'd give her that, but my mind was still on Ash even now like he always was. I looked at her and carried my violin over my shoulder as I walked. I felt the cool wind and smiled even though it was chilly I still wore a tank top since it was comfy. "So how long you lived here?" I asked slightly curious til I realized she didn't know my name.
