Sadie shook her head. "Defiantly not. I can't sing. But I listen to music when I go running sometimes." She moved a stray piece of hair out of her face, looking at the water.

Luke smiled, "you go running? Goodness, you are very athletic then. Any sports?" he asked her since she ran and swam. He dipped his hand softly into the cold water. He liked the feel of it rushing through his fingers.

Cody's jaw dropped playfully, then he let out a laugh. "I don't think so!" He started going faster on his board, catching up to her.

Annabelle laughed and slowed down as a couple of old ladies were passing, she almost went for the opening but at the last second changed her mind. She tripped and fell on the ground, she cursed out loud.

Sadie half-smiled. "Anything to keep me moving forward." It had double meanings, and was basically her motto. "Not really. I've tried a few, but never been on a team or anything. I like sports you can do alone, rather than a team. Running, swimming, hiking.." She listed off her favorites, shrugging.

Luke shrugged, "oh, I understand...look" she said as some ducks swam close to the boat. They quaked at her as if talking to her, "they seem to like you" he said watching from a distance.

Sadie looked over at the ducks, and couldn't help but smile - only slightly. Why was she smiling so much today? She hadn't smiled in months, now she had done it three times in one day. "I wish I had some bread." She said, watching the noisy ducks swim closer.

Frieda smiled slightly at his comment about her changing her shoes. It was something she did she didn't know why . Frieda shrugged " I stepped on a bug I cant wear them anymore " she said turning the corner with a skip in her step and a grin on her face. She laughed softly hoping he didn't take that seriously and think she was one of those prissy girls . stopping waiting for him to turn the corner she spoke " I'm going to the skate park you cant really skate in heels can you ?" she asked him.

As I walked along I spotted a bench and when over and sat down watching the waves cover people's feet and children play in the sand.. I frowned and looked around and saw someone walk up to me so I slided along the bench to the end.

I walk along the road that seems endless kicking up rocks as I go. In the distance I see my house I better start getting home...it was getting late. My parents hated when I was out late ex specially when it was a Sunday.I picked up a rock and looked at it while walking. It had something imprinted in it..."oh well" I mutter throwing it down.
