I sit on the edge of my bed. I yawn and stretch out. The sun was blazing through the window. It was weird. I dont know why. I guess i was used to the grey sky. And not blue. I look around the hotel room. It was nice to be in a quality hotel. I stand up.

Emma waited patiently outside jack's room as he went to get his swim trunks, not really sure how long it would take him. It hadn't taken her long to run back to her apartment and get her black one-piece bathing suit and slip it on. She had put her clothes back on over it now, but she would take them off as soon as she got to the pool. She tapped her foot on the carpeted floor quietly, trying to keep herself busy as she waited.

Mercedes smiled at Emma and quietly asked, "So you gonna go to the movies with me? It's gonna be a scary one..." She pushed her hair out from her face and checked her phone - it was already 7:34. And the movie starts at what? Like ten something, oh yea at 10:56. So she'd have two more hours to swim or do whatever. Yepp that's about right.

"I've never really liked horror movies, anyways. schuyler daneile van alan, pronounced skyler danielle vaughn allan, was born in anchorage, alaska. Along with her other four siblings, natalie, jack, and the twins, Nathan and alison. Schuyler was born on September fourth in nineteen-ninety three in a small local hospital. Her parents couldn't have been any more happier, and they planned to spoil Schuyler rotten but then, a year later, came the twins and two years after that came jack and a year after came natalie. Schuyler is the oldest of five and tends to be quite protective of them when it comes down to it. No matter how much her and Jack torture each other she will always have his back, same with the others. Schuyler grew up in quite the hectic household and learned to take care of kids any age at the young age of five. She wasn't spoiled more like appreciated. Her brother, nathan is extremely protective over Schuyler even though he's younger. Schuyler is one of those girls who can fend for herself and is practically a natural born leader. Sometimes, she can come off as bossy but she is truly a sweet good girl. She has that rough outside and that sincere and careful inside. Her parents always said she loved to take risks and could always weasel out of anything. She was always scaring her parents jumping and flipping off things. In a way it was like parkour cause she never had anything to jump into it seemed. The things she ever had a chance to jump into was the pool or off the cliff sides. But, when she turned nineteen she found she had a knack for escaping things after she jumped into the icy waters of an Alaskan pond to save a drowning boy. She gave her parents quite a scare since she was under the water over a minute after saving the boy. But, she came up and out of the icy water behind them, scaring them again for sneaking up on them. That night she told her parents, she was into magic, like the four horseman, they were at first disappointed then knew what they should do. They bought her a plane ticket to New York, gave her some cash, and helped her pack.

She's lived in New York for a year now, working for rent as a waitress and still finding things to escape. she's often found as the life of her friends parties always doing some stupidly dangerous thing they came up with for her. She's quite amusing at times and finds herself often picking up extra shifts and sometimes a deck of cards. She learned sleight of hand when she was fifteen and used it to make quick cash sometimes, mainly off of her friends but she wasn't great at it, even though she never missed a guess at which card. She knew everything about falling and weaseling out of things, just couldn't retain all the notes and words she had read, it never worked out for her in that way. She is very distractive and self critical, always finding things that she could improve.
