[Ah, I'm just a little confused. Some posts are ranging from the character knowing why they were in Alaska, while others aren't so much. I can always adjust my post accordingly--that is, to what Bubbles says. Again, I'm a little confused, but hopefully that'll be resolved soon.]

[ sorry for the confusion. some were notified yes, and the reasoning behind the things being packed was either they were going to try and escape before the rebels that would take them to alaska, or the rebels packed for them to make it more entertaing. some might not know whats going on due to the fact that they don't realize they have already arrived. ]

[Understood. In my next post, I'll have Rosemary put two and two together and realize just why she's in Alaska. Sorry, I'm a bit of a slow person. ^^;]

She eyed him as he spoke about the contents of his bag, and she seemed to grow more worried. She was correct about the variation between supplies--he had weapons, but no food, while she did not have any weapons, but a little bit of food. All the same, why would they need weapons in the first place. All in all, it really didn't make sense--then, it hit her. Adolescents trapped in an Alaskan wilderness with very little to protect themselves with? She'd heard of it, but it didn't seem like it would ever come true.

Rosemary finally understood why she, why all of them, were out here. They were to be killed, one way or another. She'd heard little snippets of the tale, and someone had even told her the whole situation in detail, but she had pushed it to the corner of her mind. Only now did she remember why she was here. And as realization dawned upon her, all her features seemed to dim.

This wasn't some sort of strange adventure they could just hop out of. They would not be going home again. The reality hit her like a boulder thrown at superhuman speed, and she let her eyes drop to the ground below her. So, they were meant to be trapped like wild animals, with little to no means of escape or survival. It was a gruesome fate, to be certain, yet she did not cry over it. There was nothing to be done, it seemed, so she immediately resigned herself to the idea.
