Samuel laughed at her comment, the corners of his mouth drawing up into soft grin. "I bet your friends call you Sam... My brother does as well, so.. Yeah, you can just call me Samuel until we come up with something better, "
Without really thinking about it, Samantha found herself walking towards the trailers and paddocks. Samuel followed and Samantha continued the conversation, "So... your brother is a Ravenwood student too?"
Yeah, for an year now. I applied couple of months ago and was very lucky to be accepted," he said still looking ahead. Samantha glanced over and noticed the slightest change in his features, as if he was looking far away at something no one else could see. "So, do you have any siblings here as well?"
The girl nodded, "My step-brother Michael." While still walking, Sam turned her head to the barn. Though Michael wasn't visible, she could see Spot's dappled rump next to Lady's shining copper one. Suddenly both horses backed up and Michael became visible pushing them back and smiling at a girl exiting the barn. She gestured towards the him, "Over there with the red hair. The chesnut is my mare, the little appy is his." Before Samuel could turn to look, however, his brother came and slapped him on the shoulder.
"Heya, Sammy," Samantha turned to look towards the voice, struck by the contrast between the two tones. Indeed, even the way the two carried themselves was in contrast, with Dean standing tall and moving confidently. Dean caught her eye and winked, Sam blushed and looked away awkwardly, but the older boy moved to the barn before she could say hello.
Samuel was shaking his head. "So.. That's him," he said, smiling awkwardly.
"He seems.... nice?" Samantha blinked but soon her confusion turned into a grin. She laughed, then hid her mouth in her hands and looked down, fearing Samuel would take it the wrong way. "I'm sorry, I never really know what to do with people who are so... boisterous... like that." The older brother Dean's greeting had been innocent enough but the wink in her direction was so confident and teasing as to be almost absurd. Usually such a gesture would have been off-putting to her, uncomfortable, but it was so like Michael in it's brotherly teasing that she couldn't help but find it funny. Samuel, at this point, had turned away and Samantha hoped he didn't think she was laughing at his expense. "Michael's sort of the same way, but I guess since we're about the same age it's different..."
They were reaching the paddocks now and the conversation lulled briefly. Samantha felt torn, on one hand she didn't know how to continue the conversation but on the other Samuel was actually pretty easy to talk too. She hoped they got the chance to visit in the future. She looked down at her watch, "I should probably go and find my dorm, or see if Michael needs any help with the horses..." She twisted the bracelet on her left wrist, then said politely "It was nice meeting you."
OCC- Sorry for the slow response!
(( That's okay. :3 ))

Sam just nodded after the awkward moment with his brother and turned to look at the horses Samantha was pointing. "Beautiful horses," he commented and started walking with her. He didn't really wonder what impression Dean had left on Samantha, since he already knew his brother all too well and he's always done that, so yeah, her reaction wouldn't be any new to the younger Winchester.

Sam sighed and shook his head. "Yeah, he's boisterous, but don't get him wrong - he can be a real gentleman when he wants to; he's just too confident of his looks and does things like that," he said and then listened to her speak. He heard her laugh and smiled, knowing what it was about, since it wasn't the first time his brother had pulled one of his tricks while Sam was talking to a girl. He nodded at what she said about Michael and kept walking. He was kind of surprised as the conversation suddenly lulled, since Samantha was easy and fun to talk to, in a good way. But then they stopped and she said that she had to go. "Alright, well, I hope we meet again soon," Sam smiled and held out a hand to shake. "Nice meeting you as well," he smiled and, after a brief handshake, walked off to the barn.
"So, who's the girl?" came Dean's voice as soon as he heard the heavy thumps of Sam's biker boots, a sound he would never forget or confuse with another that was exactly the same. "Samantha.. Seems like you kind of got her confused earlier by calling me that name.. She's new here," he simply said and walked inside the stall as he watched his brother untack Impala. "Samantha? Nice name..," Dean said, but didn't go any further. Huh, strange..., Sam thought. Usually by now his brother would be all over him, teasing him about her and asking him if they would be going out. But right now Dean was really quiet, which got Sam a bit worried. "Dude, you ok?" he asked. Dean looked at him and pulled off one of his signature grins. "Yeah, why shouldn't I be?" he simply asked and walked out of the stall to leave the saddle and bridle in the tack room; then he came back and Sam walked out of the stall, watching his brother lock it. "So, nothing between you two?" Dean finally asked and that felt like a slap to Sam's face. "Oh, and I thought that part of you died already," Sam said, not bothering to answer the question since he knew what his brother was up to. No, he wouldn't dare harming anyone; and no, they weren't going to try and take turns in flirting with Samantha. They just talked like that, but deep inside had respect for other people. "When do the classes start? I mean, everyone's outside and it's like a circus," Sam asked and Dean sighed. He looked up at his taller by two inches yet younger by three years brother and lifted his brows. "Tomorrow, I guess," he simply said and looked ahead again. Sam gave an awkward nod and they headed for their dorm.
