Aspen lowered her head with a smile, somewhat shying away. She shrugged in reply and loose strands of her hair covered her face slight, but it wasn't covered too much to where her green eyes couldn't be seen. She didn't let her friendly smile disappear as she passed by with a silent wave, making her way out into the bright light of the outdoors.

I'm very kind, sweet, helpful, and caring. I help out all kinds of people all the time, little kids, big kids, teens, my friends, strangers, parents, homeless, and old people-though they prefer elder. Most adults call me a good kid, I do the right things, mostly, get good grades, usually, and I'm 'good'. I'm also quite friendly. It only takes you about a minute till you realize I'm friendly. I come up to you, wave, smile, and happily chatter away, I might not even know you, but that doesn't stop me. Okay so I'm talkative, but that doesn't mean I'm a loud mouth and cant be trusted.I am actually very trust worthy. You can trust me with any secret you have and will keep it til' the day I die.  I'm punctual, most of the time. I will arrive on time, mostly if not just a few minutes late. People say what time to be there for a reason you know. I'm a very good listener too. I could listen to people talk all day, even if it's about a topic I don't care for or its their problems. I comfort people, just like a stuffed teddy bear, or in my case a plush dog. My friends come to me when there sad, cause they know I'll bring em' back up. I'm full of hope-or a positive thinker. I always see my glass half-full, not half empty. When someones hurt, I think of the positive things. When I take a test, I try and think the most positive thoughts, even if I know I most likely failed it. I may not be the funniest person in the world, but most say I'm pretty funny. I do admit, I like cracking jokes around people, it also usually lightens the moods by putting smiles and laughs in the room. At sometimes I can be sensitive and those little things can really hurt me, most of the  words don't affect me like most people. I'm a very confident person, I was raised that way.I'm not much of a dare devil, but more adventurous. I prefer exploring rather than skydiving or jumping out of a trains way. I am a free spirit, I go with the flow. I handle stress very well, I'm carefree-outside of school, and just love to live life. I'm not the type to argue, but sometimes I just have to. I'm always around with my friends and people I love. When I'm around them, I'm carefree, happy, talkative, goofing off, smiling, and being my self. The few times when I'm not with them, I'm still smiling, being my self, and happy-most of the time.Did I mention I am creative? Well I am, my creativity wheels are always turning in my head. Peer pressure affects everyone, but not that much with me. I know my boundaries and almost never cross them. I'm also quite independent, I do my laundry, I cook my food a couple days a week, I work a part-time job, and pay for everything I want to buy. But there are things that I don't like. I get very embarrassed very easily, which is weird 'cause I'm the last person you would think of to get embarrassed. I get startled very easily, all it takes is a loud sound or unexpected event. The few times I'm in a bad mood, I blow up and can really hurt people, which really bothers me. I hate seeing people.things hurt, especially if I caused it. Most people think I'm the popular cheerleader type. But I'm not, I care about my looks but not to the extreme, and I would not be caught dead in that skimpy cheerleader outfit or with the preps. I'm unique and different like everyone else, and no one will change that.

I was born in a hospital in Houston , Texas. When I first went home it was in an ranch in the country. I spent most of my childhood, or to me, the day I was born-15years old, or until I moved out. It was a good childhood as some may say. I had an older brother and sister, of course, who liked to play tricks and pranks on me. But it never really bothered me, only the time when he put syrup in my hair. As most kids I , liked wanting to be just like Scarlet, from copying my older sisters moves, to wearing her to-big-for-her clothes. To be honest it really bothered her. But I love my family. Almost everyday we would eat dinner together, and talk about how our days went.  Every Tuesday was Taco Tuesday, every Friday, was family game night, and every Saturday was movie night. Every holiday we went up to Georgia, South Carolina, to visit and celebrate with our relatives. I would study, do good on test, and get good grades. A couple of times I got Honor Role so far. I even did girl scouts from the age of 5-11. It was a pretty normal child hood. I plan on going to college. To be honest, I don't really like talking about my history to random people, so this is just a somewhat vague description of it.

[center]Samuel laughed at her comment, the corners of his mouth drawing up into soft grin. "I bet your friends call you Sam... My brother does as well, so.. Yeah, you can just call me Samuel until we come up with something better, "

Without really thinking about it, Samantha found herself walking towards the trailers and paddocks. Samuel followed and Samantha continued the conversation, "So... your brother is a Ravenwood student too?"

Yeah, for an year now. I applied couple of months ago and was very lucky to be accepted," he said still looking ahead. Samantha glanced over and noticed the slightest change in his features, as if he was looking far away at something no one else could see. "So, do you have any siblings here as well?"

The girl nodded, "My step-brother Michael." While still walking, Sam turned her head to the barn. Though Michael wasn't visible, she could see Spot's dappled rump next to Lady's shining copper one. Suddenly both horses backed up and Michael became visible pushing them back and smiling at a girl exiting the barn. She gestured towards the him, "Over there with the red hair. The chesnut is my mare, the little appy is his." Before Samuel could turn to look, however, his brother came and slapped him on the shoulder.

"Heya, Sammy," Samantha turned to look towards the voice, struck by the contrast between the two tones. Indeed, even the way the two carried themselves was in contrast, with Dean standing tall and moving confidently. Dean caught her eye and winked, Sam blushed and looked away awkwardly, but the older boy moved to the barn before she could say hello.

Samuel was shaking his head. "So.. That's him," he said, smiling awkwardly.

"He seems.... nice?" Samantha blinked but soon her confusion turned into a grin. She laughed, then hid her mouth in her hands and looked down, fearing Samuel would take it the wrong way. "I'm sorry, I never really know what to do with people who are so... boisterous... like that." The older brother Dean's greeting had been innocent enough but the wink in her direction was so confident and teasing as to be almost absurd. Usually such a gesture would have been off-putting to her, uncomfortable, but it was so like Michael in it's brotherly teasing that she couldn't help but find it funny. Samuel, at this point, had turned away and Samantha hoped he didn't think she was laughing at his expense. "Michael's sort of the same way, but I guess since we're about the same age it's different..."

They were reaching the paddocks now and the conversation lulled briefly. Samantha felt torn, on one hand she didn't know how to continue the conversation but on the other Samuel was actually pretty easy to talk too. She hoped they got the chance to visit in the future. She looked down at her watch, "I should probably go and find my dorm, or see if Michael needs any help with the horses..." She twisted the bracelet on her left wrist, then said politely "It was nice meeting you."

OCC- Sorry for the slow response!

Sam just nodded after the awkward moment with his brother and turned to look at the horses Samantha was pointing. "Beautiful horses," he commented and started walking with her. He didn't really wonder what impression Dean had left on Samantha, since he already knew his brother all too well and he's always done that, so yeah, her reaction wouldn't be any new to the younger Winchester.

Sam sighed and shook his head. "Yeah, he's boisterous, but don't get him wrong - he can be a real gentleman when he wants to; he's just too confident of his looks and does things like that," he said and then listened to her speak. He heard her laugh and smiled, knowing what it was about, since it wasn't the first time his brother had pulled one of his tricks while Sam was talking to a girl. He nodded at what she said about Michael and kept walking. He was kind of surprised as the conversation suddenly lulled, since Samantha was easy and fun to talk to, in a good way. But then they stopped and she said that she had to go. "Alright, well, I hope we meet again soon," Sam smiled and held out a hand to shake. "Nice meeting you as well," he smiled and, after a brief handshake, walked off to the barn.

"So, who's the girl?" came Dean's voice as soon as he heard the heavy thumps of Sam's biker boots, a sound he would never forget or confuse with another that was exactly the same. "Samantha.. Seems like you kind of got her confused earlier by calling me that name.. She's new here," he simply said and walked inside the stall as he watched his brother untack Impala. "Samantha? Nice name..," Dean said, but didn't go any further. Huh, strange..., Sam thought. Usually by now his brother would be all over him, teasing him about her and asking him if they would be going out. But right now Dean was really quiet, which got Sam a bit worried. "Dude, you ok?" he asked. Dean looked at him and pulled off one of his signature grins. "Yeah, why shouldn't I be?" he simply asked and walked out of the stall to leave the saddle and bridle in the tack room; then he came back and Sam walked out of the stall, watching his brother lock it. "So, nothing between you two?" Dean finally asked and that felt like a slap to Sam's face. "Oh, and I thought that part of you died already," Sam said, not bothering to answer the question since he knew what his brother was up to. No, he wouldn't dare harming anyone; and no, they weren't going to try and take turns in flirting with Samantha. They just talked like that, but deep inside had respect for other people. "When do the classes start? I mean, everyone's outside and it's like a circus," Sam asked and Dean sighed. He looked up at his taller by two inches yet younger by three years brother and lifted his brows. "Tomorrow, I guess," he simply said and looked ahead again. Sam gave an awkward nod and they headed for their dorm.
"At the foot of Mount Tibor, surrounded and outnumbered,
the Order's only chance lay in this sword - the Runeblade.
Image

The weapon was borne by the warrior Heron, and the dragon, Arokh.
As the armies clashed, Navaros entered a mystic trance,
drawing power for a massive spell of destruction.
With the stolen strength of his dragon's soul,
Navaros had grown far mightier than any mage before him.
As the words of destruction rose to his lips,
a lone dragon came shrieking from the clouds,
weaving amidst the streams of lightning and fire that flooded the sky.
On Arokh's back, Heron gripped the Runeblade in both hands,
and with one final cry,
drove it deep into Navaros' blackened heart.
All sound went silent somehow, in the moment of the act.
The tremendous forces Navaros had summoned were unleashed without direction.
The clash of swords was heard no longer, and blackness hung over the field.
When at last the smoke cleared, the two great armies lay decimated.
Where Navaros had stood, a wound-like rip had been torn in the very fabric of space.
In the smouldering crater below, Heron lay dead, the Runeblade broken in two at his side.
In that blackened pit, only the dragon Arokh still clung to life..."

Hey is for horses...

The girl offered a shy smile and shrugged, brilliant green eyes meeting blue for a mere moment before flitting the other way. Michael watched her go, eyes lingering on the autumn-colored hair falling down her back. He took note also of her Western attire, hat, boots, jeans. He had ridden in Western tack a few times, but had never really known someone who ran barrels, or did rodeo, or whatever those cowboy types did, before. He wouldn't mind asking her about it, but at the same time he felt he might have a hard time getting her to talk about it at all.

Spot's warm breathe in his ear ended Michael's train of thought. "Think you could be a rodeo horse Spot?" He said conversationally, leading the horses towards their assigned stalls. "Actually..." He thought aloud, "You probably could be pretty decent." Polo ponies were neck reined after all, they made quick turns, had to be balanced. That and Spot was an Appaloosa. Then he thought about the roping and cutting involved in Western sports. "I'd likely be the one getting into trouble eh?"

By now Michael had garnered a few strange looks. Most people talked to their horses, not many had full conversations. He stopped in front of stall nine and opened the door. "In you go Spotty." Michael threw the lead over Spot's back and patted his rump. "Home sweet home." The Appaloosa sniffed the entrance then walked in... and instantly rolled in the fresh shavings. Michael smiled and shut the door. Lady snorted impatiently, Michael led her into the next stall over and removed her halter. "Alright.." He said, thinking aloud. "Bedding is good, water is good, and all we need is hay..." He looked towards the back of the barn, trying to locate the feed stall. "Hay. hay. hay. hay....Oh!" Suddenly he noticed the girl in pink {Chris} leaning against a nearby stall. He smiled and rubbed his head, inwardly scolding himself for his habit of thinking out loud. "Erm... hey?"

Smooth slick. Real smooth.

When the two brothers got back to their dorm, they locked the door behind them and the first thing Dean did was to jump on his bed and fall down face first on the soft pillows, letting out a long groan of pleasure. Sam just rolled his eyes at him and placed a hand on his head, feeling that there were still some sticks of hay on his long hair from Bones nipping at it. A stupid grin played on the younger Winchester's features as he shook his head a few times, his hair flowing and the hay falling off. Then he stopped and ruffled his hair once more before taking his biker boots off, the socks as well, the jeans and leaving them on a chair. He sat down on his bed and grabbed his book from underneath his pillow. The book was called "Dragons of Autumn Twilight". Yeah, he liked books like those. He opened the book and started reading, blue-green eyes jumping from sentence to sentence as his mind worked in creating the imaginary world the story was set in.

"Sammy?"

Sam cursed under his breath as Dean broke his chain of thoughts and looked at him. "What, Dean?" he asked, placing his index finger between the pages before closing the book. Dean stood up on his elbows and licked his lips. "I was thinking... When this year ends, we could go back to Kansas.. Y'know, to our birth town and stuff...," he suggested, arching a brow, hoping his brother wouldn't get mad or anything. Sam tightened his jaw, clenched his teeth and looked down at his book, furrowing his brows slightly. "Uhh, well..," he began and licked his lower lip. "Yeah, sure... But Dean, what are we going to do there? I mean, the house burned down when I was six months old!" he said, looking at his brother. Dean sighed and sat up in his bed, rubbing his eyes. "No, Sammy, the fire was taken care of before any of that could happen. As far as I know, the house's up for sale now... But it hasn't been touched in all those years," he explained slowly, noticing a slight hint of sadness in his brother's eyes. The older Winchester got up and went over to sit on his brother's bed, motioning for him to sit up and then wrapping his arms around Sam's shoulders. Sam sighed. "So what does that mean? If it's for rent as well, we could spend a few weeks in it or something?" he asked, looking at his brother and feeling kind of soothed from the contact, since the images of the way Dean told him their mother died were tormenting him right now.

"Yeah, something like that..."
"Something like that? Wow, okay then.. That's a good start, I guess."

Then the two brothers agreed on it and each one went back to what they were doing earlier - Dean napping and Sam reading his book, although his mind was somewhere else at the moment, back to his old home and how he barely remembered it from photos his father's shown him when he was just a kid. Sam sighed and tried focusing on his book again.

(( Sorry, I just had no idea what else to write.. T_T ))

Legend of the Order of the Flame,
of Arokh the Hero
and Heron the Mighty Rider
of how they saved the world of Drakan...

Chris turned to the bay gelding, who was drinking water with his eyes half closed. She smiled and stroked his neck, "I'll be back to check on you later," she said, leaving the stall and heading outside, carefully weaving through all the people. She went to her truck and opened the door. She grabbed her purse, and all of her luggage, and walked into the main building. She looked at the directory thing, and ran her finger down the list, memorizing rooms numbers, dorm numbers, etc.
Chris found her room, and read the name next to hers, "Aspen Keith," she said quietly. She nodded to herself, before heading to her dorm. She arrived at her destination, and unlocked the door. She opened it and gasped slightly, "Wow, this is gorgeous," she whispered before closing the door behind her. She took it all in for a few moments, before starting to get settled in.
The girl pursed her lips, seeing no sign of Aspen's stuff. "Oh well, first com first serve I guess," she said choosing the bed farthest from the door. She started to unpack her stuff, putting her close i one of the dressers, and her toiletries in the bathroom. She then took out her special stuffed horse. She had this since she was a baby, and still sleeps with it every night. She smiled and set it on the bed next to the pillows. She took out a few pictures, and things that reminded her of home, and decorated slightly. She put some of her other essentials in the trunk at the end of the bed. She finished, and sat back down on the bed, crossing her legs, and just thinking for a few minutes. She then pulled out her schedule and read what her classes would be.

Brennan found his dorm quickly, and unlocked the door and went inside. "Sweet," he said, admiring the room. He still didn't know who his roomate would be, so he just unpacked all of his things and chose his side of the room. He then opened all of the windows and let the light in, before looking out at everybody outside.
He leaned against the window frame, and breathed in the fresh air, before turning and going into the bathroom to get a shower.
