on the morning of november 19, 1992, at precisely 5:45 a.m., i was born. i was born in the martha jefferson hospital, in room 403, in charlottesville, virginia. twenty years later, i have grown dramatically, and am now a mature young adult. hello, my name is christina robin rodney, it's nice to meet you. i have a few nicknames, chris and robin, but you can give me a new one if you'd like, but only if it's nice. i am eighteen years young, and i am, obviously, female. i would let you check, but i'm not that type of person, so yeah. before i say this, i have no judgmental view against lgbt people, but i am straight, and i always will be straight. like i said before, i was born in charlottesville, virginia, and both of my parents are american, so that makes me american too. now, to tell you what i look like. i am fairly tall at five feet, nine inches. i'm pretty found of that height, since it makes me not too short or too freakishly tall. i weigh 130 pounds, and i'm not judgmental of anybody on weight. i have a good form i guess, some curves but not stick straight. i have olive skin tone, so i tan easily. i have blue eyes, and long brown hair. i have one tattoo, this puzzle piece on my hip, and it matches my sister's. i don't have my ears pierced though. for one my parents would let me, but it was a stretch for them on the tattoo. i'm also not a fan of intentional pain, like tattoos and piercings. i only got that tattoo because i'm super close with my sister. for my clothes style i just usually wear comfy clothes, and sometimes a cute country style dress. but usually it's just some jeans a t-shirt, hoodie or a tank top. nothing to fancy for me. i do wear minimal make-up, but not overloaded.

my family consists of my father, jacob, who is 42, my mother, rachel, who is 42, and my sister, julie, who is 22. i love my family, and am really close with all of them. i'm currently not in a relationship, and i don't have a crush on anyone at the moment. It's kinda hard for me to describe myself in personality, but i'll try. i would have to say that i am somewhat shy when i am around new people, but that side of me goes away once i get to know you. i would also say that i try to be the kindest i can with anybody i meet. that was the way i was taught when i was younger. i am also artistic. i love to write and draw, and try to do either whenever i can. i am also quite energetic. i love to have fun and am an adrenaline junkie. i love roller coasters and things like that. usually the more i get going the more i bounce off the walls so-to-speak. i would say that i am responsible. i take care of my family and those that i love and when i set my mind to something i always get it done. i also do have a bad side, but that only comes out to those who are closest to me. when that side is shown, i am sly and clever willing to bend the rules to have fun or for what is right. that pretty much describes what i am like on the inside. my past wasn't the worst it could've been. in all honestly it was pretty good. i grew up in a small town where everyone knows everyone, and i had a roof over my head and food on the table every night. my parents love each other and i love my family. i don't bicker with my sister. so where's the problem here? the problem is i haven't left that town. only for vacations and those were rare. we were just so busy. my dad works as a ranchhand, and my mom is a cook at the local diner. i just want to get out of there though. that's why i have applied to out of state colleges. i have a 4.0 GPA and i have scholarships so those are my ticket out of there. i have lived in the same house for eighteen years, and now i'm leaving. ok, enough of that. i like animals, and nature, and color. i also like music, horses, and sunglasses. there is a whole lot of other stuff, but i don't have enough room here. what i don't like is animal abuse, players, and spiders. i don't like a lot of other stuff, but i don't really want to talk about that now. i do have a few hobbies. i ride horses and collect hipster sunglasses. i currently have 350 pairs. i have been collecting for about five years now. i also play volleyball and i swim. i have one dog, bear, and a horse which i will show later, i love them both to death. here is also my chevy silverado, iphone, andlaptop. well, that's about it, thanks for listening!

Rebels Hot Dash is a nine year old, 15.1 hh AQHA gelding. He is a bay, with only a star in the middle of his forehead. Rebels Hot Dash, aka. Rio, is a barrel racer, born and raised. When you take a look on his bloodline, he is a grandbaby of the great Dash For Cash. Rio has been barrel racing and pole bending since he was four years old. He was raised throughout his life by Christina, who says she will keep him for life. He is a very calm soul, and is level headed. The only time you see him worked up is before a run. He is Charlottesville born, and was raised there. He was trained by Christina, and this horse has a very close bond with her.

Looks :: "I am a surfer, that's what I do over here in California. So I have a surfer's body. I have short brown hair, which I style up often. I have tan skin, which seems to get tanner each summer I'm here. I have green eyes, which came from my dad."
Piercings/Scars :: "I have no piercings but I do have this tattoo on my inner arm in memory of my dad. I have small scars from minor accidents but just one big scar from cutting my leg on some coral while surfing."

History :: "I was born in Ontario, Canada, on a snowy evening at 11:55 PM on Decmeber 22, 1995. I lived there for two years while my dad was trying to find me and my mom a home. See, my mother is Canadian and my father was American. I am American too, since I was born on a US base. It took two years to find the place where I live now. So at two years of age, me and my mom moved into the town house that I still live in today. Once there, I went to school, made friends, played sports and had a normal life. I am a military kid though, which I don't normally tell anyone. It's not like I'm ashamed of it, it just rips at the stitches in my heart. My dad was in the airforce for five years until he met my mom.He loved her, and me when I was born. He took care of us but it was hard on him. He was then gived the notice he had to leave for Afghanistan. He couldn't bear to leave, but he had too. That was when I was eight... I never saw him again. I was extremely close to him, and was heartbroken for so long. I still wake up crying, seeing him killed, always different ways, which makes it worse. I'm not the most brilliant barnacle out there, but I do manage B's for my worse grades. I do it for my mom. I'm all she has left of my father except for that folded flag in the case sitting on my dad's drawer. We haven't really touched his stuff. I think that's enough of my sob story for now. Outside of being the family man and school, I love the ocean, I try to spend as much time as I can surfing. I love to surf. I also play basketball in school, and that's pretty much it with sports besides jogging in the mornings. I also play guitar. I play when I'm not in the water. I also write. My mom says I'm the best songwriter she has ever known. Also the best singer. She my mom though, so what am I to say about that. That's pretty much it about my childhood and early teens. I want to be a marine biologist when I get older, and to live in California with a home and a wife with some kids, a nice family. But that's for the future, it's time now for the present."
Personality :: "I guess overall, I'm fun, hilarious, artistic, and a family man. I fun as i literally, I like to have fun. I'm and adrenaline junkie. Anything that you can do to get hyped up, I'm there. Not drugs or alcohol though, that's man-made adrenaline, I'm talking about cliff diving, surfing, roller coasters, etc. I think I'm pretty hilarious myself. I seem to make everyone laugh, even when I don't try to. I like to mkae people laugh to to make their day better if I can. That's just the type of person I am, at least, I think I am. I'm pretty artistic, too. In the way I think, talk, write, draw. I love to draw and write and paint, anything to let my thoughts out. That's how I relieve stress is by painting or writing. I'm also a family man. I only have my mother, who is in the market for a boyfriend, but right now, I'm all she's got. I do everything I can to make her happy, since I'm what's left of my father. She says I work to hard for her, but I don't mind it. I'm a worker, as well. I will work and give things to people, just because it's the right thing. Once I put my mind to something, I will do it. I also care... I'm a big lug when it comes to the things I love. I'm loyal, 100%. I will never cheat or love more than one girl. That's just not the way I am."
Fears :: "Tornados, is my biggest fear, I;m not fased by too much stuff."
Sports :: "I play basketball, and I surf. I do jog every morning, but that's not really a sport."

Raise Your Glass, aka. Sorbet, is a five year old, Oldenburg mare. She is a chestnut with a blaze and four white socks. Sorbet was born in Holland, but was then transferred to the US when she was a yearling. Her first owner was a teenage girl who left her to go to college. Her mother had no clue about horses and sold her to Brennan for almost nothing. She now lives a comfortable life being Brennan's eventing horse. She is wild at heart. She is a flighty, restless mare is is spooky at a lot of things. The only time she is calmest is when she is with Brennan.

chris | twenty | calm

Chris drove into the parking area of her new school. She smiled and turned off the ignition. She looked up at the different buildings through the windshield, before pulling out the keys to her truck and sticking them in her purse. She got out of the truck and closed the door, before walking around the front and over to the tack room part of her three horse goose-neck trailer. She opened the door and peered in side, searching for Rio's red and black monogrammed halter.
Finally, she found it among all the different tack, feed, and hay that consumed her tack area. She reached up inside and grabbed the halter off it's hook, before going around to the other side of the trailer. She could hear Rio nickering inside, and that made her smile. She opened the access window and gazed in at the bay gelding. "Hey boy," she said, watching the horse. He was fully decked out in shipping gear, including splint boots and polo wraps, since she disliked shipping boots, bell boots on all four feet, and a helmet. She stroked his satiny nose. She could smell the hay he had been eating, and breathed it in, enjoying the scent.
She slipped off the helmet that Rio had on, and put on his halter. She looped the lead rope around his neck, and then went to the back of the trailer. She hummed to herself while unlatching the door and then unlatching the back guard. She smooched to Rio, and encouraged him as he unloaded himself. She quickly grabbed his lead rope, and gave him a moment to look around. She patted his neck and kissed to him, and started walking towards the barn.
"Good boy," she said to the gelding, and looked into the barn. It was mildly crowded, but nothing she wasn't used to. She led the horse down the aisle way, looking at the different people and horses along the way. She looked up at the stall numbers, counting in her head until she came upon it, lucky number 13. She put the gelding into the stall, and closed and latched the door after herself. She draped his lead over the door, "Stand bud," she told him before beginning to dismantle the boots on his legs. She carefully unwrapped each one, and felt all of his joints to make sure there was no heat. She nodded, feeling none and once she was done she rolled up the polo wraps, grabbed her boots and set them outside of the stall. She checked his water, and then finally taking Rio's halter off. She stroked his nose for a minute, and then exited the stall, hanging the halter onto the hanger. "I'll be back," she told him, before heading down to the tack room and found her tack locker and saddle rack. She nodded in approval, observing the room before putting the boots into the locker, she would organize more once everything was unloaded.
She went back out to the trailer, and then made multiple trips in and out, taking in her grain, hay, saddle, bridles, brushes, and everything else she had. Once she finished putting all of her stuff in front of the tack box, she then put everything into place. She put her tex tan flew tree saddle onto the rack, and put her bridle's on the bridle rack. She put her first-aid kit and brush box inside the locker on the built-in shelves, and organized everything else into spot where she would remember where they were. She then went out and went and parked her trailer in her spot, then drove back over to her parking spot, before going back into the barn. She went back into the tack room, grabbed his name plate, a few pads of hay, and the special tube of electrolytes, just to make sure he kept drinking. She made it to his stall and slid the name plate into place, put his ha in it's holder, and went inside the stall to give him the tube of electrolytes. Chris held Rio's head, and easily slid it into his mouth, squeezing the right amount in. She then watched him for a few minutes, leaning against the door of the stall. She also watched the different people out in the aisleway.

Brennan stopped his truck and trailer outside of the barn and school. He gazed in awe as he took it all in. He turned off the ignition and reached behind his seat, grabbing his boots and putting them on. Even though he did eventing, he still like western boots. He then took off his hat and ran a hand through his hair before getting out, and heading back to his two horse, bumper pulled trailer. He looked inside the tack area and grabbed Sorbet's leather halter and chain. He usually wouldn't use the chain, but he could already tell that she was going to be fire up. He hit the side of the trailer as he walked around to the mare's side, hearing her paw at the ground. "There's no need for that, Sorbet," the boy said, opening the door and giving the mare a stern look. She nickered happily to him, tossing her head in glee before turning back into her nervous state. He peered around Brennan and he followed her gaze to all the people and horse. "It's ok," he murmured, switching out her helmet and putting the halter and chain on.
He shut the door and went to the back, unlatching the door, and lowering the ramp, and then the guard. The 16.1 hand Oldenburg mare, then backed quickly out of the trailer. Brennan barely grabbed the lead before she trotted in a circle around him, head high, and ears alert. He immediately pulled her back and backed her up. "Stop it," he growled, "I will embarrass you in front of your new future friends." She finally stopped and calmed down, but still kept her head up, and swiveled her ears to catch every sound. He rolled his eyes and started to lead her to the barn. "You are defiantly getting a good lunging later," he muttered as Sorbet started to prance next to him. He gently, but firmly, pulled on the lead, calmly her down as they entered the barn. He walked her down to stall 14, and put her inside. He then got all of her shipping wraps off, and then let her loose. He kept the halter on, but it was leather, so it was a breakaway. He exited the stall, and put the lead on the rack. He watched as she whinnied to the other horses and then sniffed the shavings as she walked around in a circle.
Brennan watched her for a minute before going and getting all the stuff from the trailer and putting it into the tack room. He organized the stuff into locker, and put his papers in the "drop forms here" box. He grabbed a de-nerve syringe, some hay and and apple, and headed back to Sorbet's stall. He gae her the hay, and opened the syringe. It was difficult since she was being very nosey and kept trying to get the apple. "Stop it," he said laughing. He took her head, and gave the syringe, which she tried to spit out, but he gave the apple quick enough so she didn't. "Now, you won't be so crazy, and you can get settled in quicker," Brennan told her. He stroked her nose, and then latched her stall before waving goodbye, and heading back to the truck. He parked the trailer in his spot, and then drove over to the main building to go find his dorm, and unpack his things.

Emily Campbell

Group B .: Female :. Eighteen
HORSE ; Moonshire ~ Miracle
Mood:Feeling ; Nervous
Tagged:With ; No-one
Wearing:Clothes ; Click to view

After spending three longs hours in the car, Emily just wanted to get out and check on her horse Miracle. Trying to keep calm and stay in control of her nerves she turned her music up avoiding eye contact with her foster dad. It wasn't long before they pulled up at a gas station, her dad got out of the car after saying "Emily, whilst we are here I want you to check your horse." using a harsh voice. She looked up, glancing at a sign stating that they still had about another hour before they would arrive to her new academy.
Getting out of the car she walked around to the back of the float that held her horse Miracle. Standing on little foot stand she leaned in to the float to pet her young mare.Calling out to her dad "I think she needs her water topped up. Otherwise she looks good." she climbed down after softly speaking to her mare "I'll be back soon, you stay calm. We will be there soon. I promise." She hushed, walking into the store to ask if she could use their water hose.

After the car was filled and Miracle had water, they were off on the road again. Luckily she had been allowed to buy a snack from the cafe, sipping her iced green tea and savoring her apple and raspberry bread, Emily looked out the window wondering what it would be like at the academy. Before she knew it they had arrived, driving slowly towards the main building made of brick, covered in windows. Emily couldn't help but think to herself it looks so old, this place had better be as good as the website said it would be frowning she jumped out of the car and walked around to the back of the float to unload her mare.

Her father parked the float off to the side where two other vehicles had been parked with their horse trailers still attached. Before driving off her father handed her the letters and application forms with a grin "Be good, don't get yourself into any trouble or you'll be coming home right away. I want you to improve your jumping skills with Miracle. Also make sure not to get involved with any of the boys, I will be here to visit you in three months." he told her sternly. ugh, who does he think he is the police? Emily sighed, wanting her foster dad to leave already so she could get settled in.

As she led her horse towards the stable, she noticed that there were already a few people around. By passing the tack room, she walked down the stable corridor and found the stable numbered seven {7} it already had her mare's name pinned to the door. "You behave now Miracle, I'll be back soon okay." she spoke softly before walking off towards to office to drop in her paper work before finding her room. Miracle neighed as she watched her rider walk off, flicking her ear she lowered her head to eat. Emily was nervous about meeting her room mate, as far as she could remember she would be sharing a room with Samantha Brooks. Sighing to herself she wondered off to the room to unpack.

OOC---hope my first post isn't too long, also would it be okay to share a room with Samantha? if not I can share with someone else. My head is still a little foggy after surgery but I really wanted to make my first post.
Just one more thing, I was bored and felt like improving my form, if you want to check it out, it's on the top of page 3 :)
[TO RPs: I won't be on as much during the day due to school and HSC study, but I will get on at night. I'll also try to get on for as long as possible, including weekends! Please don't kick me or anything!(: ]

Samantha hurried to pick up the binder, keeping her eyes trained firmly on the floor. She wasn't usually this much of a klutz. Nervous sure, but usually coordinated enough to keep from falling over. She felt her face reddening in embarrassment and suddenly became aware of a stinging on her left hand where it had brushed over the concrete. A scrape, though a small one, no blood, no real injuries. A shadow passed over her and Samantha raised her gaze.

"You Ok?"

Samantha blinked, fully taking him in for the first time. His gaze was gentle, concerned, though he might have tried to fix it a few pieces of hay still clung in his hair. It was endearing in a way, and Samantha forced a shy smile."Yea..." She took his hand gratefully. "No harm done. Thank you." She reached down and brushed some of the barn dust from her jeans. So much for making a good impression. A moment of awkward silence hung between them, Sam reached down to pick up the binder. "I was worried I had spooked your mare... but she hardly noticed." She shifted her gaze up to the horse behind Sam. "She's a beautiful horse, it looks like she really trusts you... I'm Samantha, by the way... "
