Alex pulled up to the the cabin, slowing the car to a stop. Everyone hooted with excitement and joy, gathering up their bags and rushing inside to take a look. He had to admit, it looked pretty great. The cabin looked cozy and inviting among the trees. The small lake's waters were clear, nearly begging to be swam in. Alex could already imagine the cool water against his skin in the hot summer weather.
The teenager followed everyone's lead, grabbing his own bags and following them inside. He entered the cabin last, in time to hear them discussing the sleeping arrangements. Keira and Theo had claimed the loft, but not before teasing Emma. Alex didn't care where he slept, as long as it was comfortable enough. It'd be awful to toss and turn all night then wake up sore because his sleeping arrangement, especially since this is supposed to be the most fun he's had in his live up until now.
He tossed his bags in a corner, listening to their talk about a swim. He already had on his swim trunks because he had suspected they'd go swimming. Alex was more then willing to join them. The water was just begging for them to swim in it.
