Kida started to weep softly. "He protected me. Mother got mad at him for defending me. So she 'taught me a lesson.'" Kida balled her fists. "'You can't be protected your whole life.'" She said in a mocking tone through her tears.

James looked at her. "Hey, are you ok?"

Dj: "thats horrable..... But ill protect you no matter what"

Violet: "what do you mean?"

Kida took some deep breaths before replying. "Thank you."

Dj: I smile and hug her closer

Kida smiled slightly then the bell rang. "What class do you have next?"

Penelope shivered and nodded "Yeah, fine" she slowly backed away then jumped as the bell rang

"It's just the bell don't worry." James said calmly.

Penelope trembled "I-I" she looked around quickly

"It's ok, you're safe." James said.
