He then built up the courage in himself, and he looked at Kaydon with a shy, terrified look in his eyes. But, he speaks anyway, "But I want to be with you, not Ron." He says. His voice is so soft and careful, scared Kaydon had changed his mind or something.

"and that is a lie, what you said just now, you are not a burden on me. and I want to protect you, because people tend to protect what they care about." I said to him, "there is nothing wrong with you, yes it has only been a few days but from what I know about you, you are amazing and there is nothing that I would change about you." Ajax looked at the ground shyly. "Y-yeah." He stuttered, not believing he's said it. He then looks at the ground, not believing him. He'd always be a burden, and that's how he saw himself; no better than a worthless animal. He didn't hide his emerald eyes, and he looked into Kaydon's eyes as well. He didn't know if he was telling the truth, and he shook from fear that this was all another Ron or just a joke.

Ajax didn't protest, but he didn't agree. There was nothing special about him. From everyone else, he always got that he was annoying, and too shy. Creepy, even. He looked at Kaydon and was confused a little. He quietly and softly asks, "Why are you scared?" Ajax wouldn't hurt a fly. He was so confused about everything. Then again, he himself was terrified right now. He was also scared Ron had followed them or something.

I looked at him, "I am scared because I don't want to be hurt again," I told him, "my last boyfriend, well we were together for almost four years, then he moved and promised that he would be faithful to me and never leave me, and then his friend text me one day telling me that he had caught him with some other guy, I was devastated. and when I told my mom what happened she helped me through it but my dad, he um, he would come in and beat me every time he heard me start to cry in my room." I closed my eyes and shook my head, "I'm just afraid that no matter who it is that something bad will happen."

Ajax looked at the ground after hearing why he was scared. "I had two boyfriends before I met you." He mumbles. "I told you about Ron." he says, "Then the one before him would-" he shakes his head. "Never mind." It was so painful for him to talk about his first, he was so damaged. "I'm not like them.. If anything- I'm more scared of you."

I sighed, "I would never hurt you, only love you." I told him. my eyes wee still closed but I was so concentrated on this conversation that nothing else had the chance to cross my mind, I kind of moved my face around in his hair loving the felling of him still being here next to me. "I don't have any intentions to hurt you." I whispered and kissed his head carefully.

Ajax shivers, but loves Kaydon's touch. He seemed a little calmed by it now instead of tense. He did believe Kaydon say he wasn't going to hurt him, but he was also apprehensive about fully trusting him. When Kaydon kissed his head, he felt the warm breath, making him shiver again, and he shyly grabs Kaydon's hand, intertwining his fingers with Kaydon's. His hand was shaking slightly.

I couldn't help but smile sitting here now, this was the perfect place to be. And honestly me and my heart had no idea what to think, i was actualy leting and trying to get close to someone again. I still held him close with my face in his hair, and then i felt him mix his hand with mine and i get butterfly's. I bit my lip when i had realized that i truly had never felt this way before, no one had ever given me butterfly's like this before and i couldnt help but notice that it felt nice.
