I run my hands into the muddy bottom of the lake. It's squishy. But I love it. I just put it on my legs and it cools them down too. I lay on my back, in the water. Just hear the soft ripples of the water above me. I then hear a splash. What? I turn and a see an object in the water. It then flew back up. Juanito! I immediately surface up. He had fallen from his perch which was in a nearby tree. He had come back onto land. He didn't look happy and all I could do was laugh at him. "You ok bud?" I say, swimming over to he edge, gently stoking his feathers. I pull a little worm over int he grass and feed it too him. He eats it and flies back up to his perch. I smile at him. And he just stands there, looking annoyed.
