Rory shakes his hand and smiles, "Uh, so you're blind right?" she asked. There was no polite way of asking that really, she tried sounding non offensive, but seemed to have failed.

Abel's smile does not falther but the warmth in it does for a moment and a half. "Yes Ma'am." he responds when he gets his composure back.

Rory nodded and then explained, "I was wondering because my dog," she looked back to Ryder, "Is in training to be a seeing eye dog. I was wondering if you needed help uh... seeing?" Sudenly Rory felt extremely rude. She frowned and hoped he wouldn't be too mad at her for being such a jerk.
