Crystal moves her hand away when he flinches. She says in a soft calming voice. Her voice seems child like, "I miss going home to see my dogs and my momma. No matter how much she aggrivated me. My best frind Sylvia and my boyfriend James. They will have moved on with my funeral by noe but I still imagine them sitting around the firepit eating marshmellowd while james tries to catch them in hI'd mouth but failing due to his partial blindness. I miss it but this is our lives now. I don't like it either why don't we just try to make it as normal as we can?" She hugs him

Abel had been trying to be silent and aloof but at her words sighs and allows the facade to drop. When she hugs him, he freezes in surprise and then lifts one hand and pats her back. "How are we to be normal Crysal?" he whispers, half hunched so he can talk in her ear.

"What is normal Abel?' Crystal replies. She was considering going into a long metaphoric statement but says, "We make ourselves comfortable. We do our best. We make new clothes we make comfortable beds and we try to find new ways to make food. We keep trying.' She kisses his cheek. She stays hugging him

But how far ahead was she thinking in terms of Normalicy? Abel smiles and gently pats her back. "Yes, we try." he answers, trying to keep his voice upbeat though he feels anything but.

Crystal releases him from the hug and takes his hand again and says "We are almost there!" She knee he was trying

Abel smiles, he cant help it. Her excitement is...enapturing. She can always make him smile - even if he doesnt want too. "Lets wait for the others." he tells her quietly.

Crystal says, "Alright!" The blonde has a child like innocence about jer wh en she is happy. There is no real innocence there she is just a bubbly spirit. Her eyes are brightened at his smile and she grins, "Alrighty!"

Rory allowed James to hug her, sure there will always be hope. But unless that hope actually has a chance of surviving it is false, and she had already given up getting off the island. "Thanks," she smiled, half hugging him back. She then broke the hug and stepped back from him, not in a rude way, just in a way so she could look at him when she spoke. She opened her mouth to say something, but her head turned when she overheard Abel ranting about home. Her heart swelled once more, and seeing Abel and Crystal hug it out put a rock at the pit of her stomach. She took in a breath and sighed, she wasn't going to call to them to catch up, that would be rude, so she waited. Suddenly Crystal seemed excited, what had they been talking about? "So, Akira knows how to get up their safely right?" Rory asked, trying to keep her jealousy of Crystal inside and tamed.

"Yeah. She is already half way up. We better hurry up. € Akira was scoping out the area on the way up. She jumped from rock to rock. " james says and he starts walking towards the stairs.

Rory agreed with a nod and looked back at Crystal and Abel. She sighed and then called, "Come on you guys, we're falling behind," waving a hand to beckon them onward. Her head turned away from them almost instantly so she wouldn't see whatever reaction would come from either Abel or Crystal. She hated being the breaker of fun, but they did have to get to that spot before sunset.
