Akira walks back over recognizing the gesture. She waves and says lets go in her native tongue.
James says, "They might. When people get elderly in wild tribe pften they go blind. They might have a word."

"But me saying 'Blind' isnt going to register with her." he counters. Abel is thinking, listening, "Akira," a pause, "Abel," he points to himself. "No see." he waves a hand infront of his face. Then repeats what he'd said and done.

Akira watches and imatates him. Then she understands and says, Oh " with a small giggle, "apogno." She takes his hand and leads him

Apogno... he'd have to remember that word. Abel is surprised at her touch and soon is following after her. "James.. If I'm not back by tomorrow by noon, or her...expect the worst for me. And try to escape without us." and then they are in the forest

Akiras hands were worn and calluased from the hard life they lived though it seemed simple enough to her. She takes the easiest route through the forest.

Abel trips but gains his balance quickly, listening he turns his head. The young man hopes that he can trust her. Else he is dead... probably dead anyways.

Akira pauses. Theres a log in the path. She puts his free hand on it.

[Alpha*]

Abel runs his hand over the log twice, how high it is, how wide; when he is pretty sure what he is getting himself into, he steps over with one leg, then the other - sitting on the log a moment and then stands again. He is waiting for Akira to join him, to re-take his proffered hand.

Akira leaps over like a deer and takes his hand in hers again.

Abel cant help but jump at the sound of her landing just a bit. Then he grins and walks with her, listening to a snap to his left of a twig and then a hiss, he drops to the ground with her as an arrow-sound registers to him, hand on his head. Where his head-level had been, but lodged in a tree is a quivering arrow, he mutters a muted curse. "Akira, you alright?" an ok sign to her, then a thumbs up. "You safe?'' man hed have bruises tomorrow.
