"You can but dad won't care..." Maye said softly and limped to her house. Before she could reach for the handle her dad whipped the door open. She jumped back in surprise "D-dad.. I-" she was cut off by her dad's angry gaze "Where were you last night?! You weren't in your room when i needed you! And then- what's wrong with your leg?! Will this cost me money?!" Her dad shouted, throwing questions in her face. He wrapped an iron grip around her hand so hard it hurt and she squeaked in pain before he pulled her in. "Go home, boy.... You don't need to be here..." He growled warningly. Maye looked at him with pleading eyes, wanting him to leave.

Sean glared at Mayes dad and ignoring Mayes look he grabbed his wrist "let her go" he said calmly but firmly he squeezed the mans wrist harder and kept his icy glare "you don't have to worry about the money I will pay for you afterall it was my fault she got hurt" he sqeezed even tighter

Maye's eyes widened as her dad's face clearly turned red. She shook her head "Sean, no.. Stop," she said. Her dad twisted Sean's arm before shoving him back "I said go home, boy! I didn't invite you here!" He barked. Maye gasped and tried to get to him "Sean!" She went to get past her dad but he shoved her back "Stay out of it!" He barked and started to shut the door.

Sean gritted his teeth when the man twisted his arm. He was used to it. He caught himself and glared at the man again "what a sad old man you are" he said sarcastically "I'm sure you and my father will get along just fine" his cold stare softened when he looked at Maye he had a worried look in his eye.

Maye got to her feet, afraid her father would be worse. Before her father could do anything she sprinted in front of him and slammed the door. "Please, don't hurt him daddy..." She pleaded. Her dad yanked her to the living room and shoved her onto the couch and looked at her ankle. "You're lucky I don't break it," he growled and wrapped her ankle "It's sprained and it not going to cost me money," he snarled. He looked at her "Who was that boy?" He demanded "A friend.." She said softly.

Sean stood there frozen as Maye slammed the door. He gritted his teeth "damn it. I should have never let her come back here" he said mentally kicking himself "I could at least made sure she would be ok. Damn it damn it damn it" he muttered. He looked at the door before he started walking home

Maye shrunk away from him but sighed when he walked away. She looked out the window and her heart stopped to see him leaving. She sighed and laid on the couch but sat up when her dad came back with a newly smashed bottle "D-dad?" She stuttered, eyes wide in fear.

Sean got home and walked into his room. He laid on his bed and though of the multiple times his mother had tried to kill him because he was different. He flintched at the thought and sat up he walked to the bathroom and looked at his face in the mirror. He moved his bangs away from his eye. He never understood why his mother hated his green eye but everytime she would see it she would become angry. He moved his bangs back over his eye and walked downstairs and started to vacume the livingroom which was already spotless.

"Dad?" Maye started to back up as much as she could. She had tears brimming her eyes. "Don't you want to feel what your sister did?!" He asked with a slight growl, seizing her arm. He forced the broken bottle into her arm. Maye screamed out in pain and struggled to get away but it only made it worse.

Sean finished all the vacuuming and slid down against a wall. He leaned his head against it and looked at the wall infront of him "I have to make sure she is ok" he told himself. He stood up and walked to Mayes house. He heared the scream and he barged through the door "get the f*** away from her" he screamed as he ran to her
