Maye breathed a little heavy, her heart hadn't slowed down at all. "Willows, just go back to the willows," she whispered in his ear. It was closest and she was comfortable there. She stayed pressed against him, just happy he was here. She would've drowned if he wasn't.

"If only I knew were they are" he said looking around "I think the rapids pushed us away from them" he sighed "but I'll find away back somehow" he smiled "but I don't care if we are lost I'm just glad you are alright. He lifted her chin and looked at her through his bangs "are you sure you are ok? You did just get tossed around by the rapids" he said kindly his eyes sparkling behind his dripping bangs.

Maye nodded and shivered slightly. "Given the fact that everything is numb and I just almost drowned I can't feel anything..." She murmured and laid her head on his chest

"I understand" Sean said softly "lets get out of this water before you catch a cold" he said holding her against him

Maye nodded softly and put her feet firmly on the ground once they got out of the water. She stood still for a moment still catching her breath. Once the sun hit her it started to warm her cold skin, pain hitting her and she gingerly held a foot from the ground "Ow," she muttered softly and looked down at her foot. She looked at him as the realization hit her "Thank you, Sean..." she said softly

San smiled "you are very welcome". He fixed his bangs so they lay over his right(green) eye and laid down on the ground putting his arms under his head. He did not re fix his bangs when they fell away from his eye he just stared at the clouds. He did not care that his shirt was clinging to him he let out a soft sigh befor propping his head up on his hand and looked at Maye kindly

Maye gently sat beside him and looked at him "You saved my life..." she said softly and picked a piece of grass before looking back at him. She laid down and turned on her side to look at him "How do a thank someone for saving my life?" she asked with a small smile.

"Well what kind of young man would I be if I did not help a damsel in distress?" He said winking "besides I think I did say that I would protect you did I not?" He teased he smoothed his bangs back over his eye and looked back at Maye "I think we should rest here untill we dry off." He said softly "then we can go on an adventure to find our way back to the willow" he smiled

"Yeah, because I left my sandals back there..." Maye murmured softly with a smile. "I might now I way to repay you," she said with a smile, a soft pink powdered her cheeks. She gently kissed his cheek then on her back to look at the sky, the blush grew a little deeper.

"You don't have to..." He stoped talking and blushed slightly when Maye kissed his cheek "what was that for?" He asked softly still blushing and looking at her his bangs moving so they covered both his eyes.
