G R ∆ N T - M ∆ C K Σ N N ∆ - T ∆ Y L O R

N A M Σ: Grant MacKenna Taylor. His parents could decide what was to be his official name, and finally after his birth they decided on Grant MacKenna. Grant after his Grandfather, MacKenna after his father.

N I C K N ∆ M Σ: Grant. Although his father usually calls him Grant MacKenna, as one.

∆ G Σ: Eighteen. A legal adult, though he has been drinking and driving before this age.

G Σ N D Σ R: Male. I thought that was obvious? Hmm, seems not. Anyway, I am definitely male; I have the designated parts.

B I R T H D ∆ Y: Fourteenth of August, Nineteen-ninety-five.. Born in New York City, fled to Michigan.

F ∆ M I L Y: Family is quite a tough subject. His father MacKenna was an military officer now Crime Scene investigator, who wanted Grant to follow in his footsteps. His mother Claire, who died when he was ten, always told him to do what he felt was right and on the subject of his future, she told him to do what he wanted, not what his dad wanted him to do. His brotherAdam was always into Science, Forensic Science to be exact. Well, that and computers. He used to work with their dad at the office, solving crimes and stuff like that. Stuff Grant was never really interested in. They weren't close, Grant and his brother.

Now in Michigan, Grant lives with his Uncle Mike, Aunt Lisa and their daughter Abbie. Although what Grant did was reckless, Mike and Lisa didn't regret allowing Grant into their house. Or lying to his father when he asked questions.

P Σ R S O N ∆ L I T Y: Grant is a very reserved character. He is not afraid to speak his mind and tends to be a bit protective. He doesn't share his past to anyone or anything about himself really. He's very defiant, and barely listens to any of the rules he's given. He's not a very social person.
Usually he avoids contact with other people not because he's mean or hates people, he just doesn't want anyone to uncover his secrets. What he did in the past he's not proud of, and he doesn't want anyone to judge him. He uncle took weeks to finally get him to talk about what happened and the reason why he came to him for help. His uncle was the one who got him to start sketching. He uncovered a new person in Grant, a calm and collected character, but who wouldn't reveal his secrets or even his feeling easily. As well as sketching, he often looses himself in his books. He surrounds himself in lives he hasn't yet lived; to see if the lives he reads about are any better than the one has has. Other than reading and sketching, Grant loves to ride horses. Much like his relatives, he too has his own horse. Epona, originally a wild horse now Grant's horse.
Once you breakdown his hard exterior shells, Grant is kind of a nice guy. He loves to take pictures and sketch them. He takes a camera and his sketchpad everywhere he goes, never leaves them at home. He loves sitting in random places and just thinking quietly. He loves to play with his rescue Bernese Mountain Dog Adeon or riding his horse Epona. He is very serious when it comes to riding, or the safety of Epona. He knows she can handle herself but he still worries. He is not a big fan of dressage, and much prefers Show Jumping and Cross Country. He thinks and agrees that, seeing as Epona was wild and parts of her still are, then she shouldn't and probably wouldn't like to be stuck dancing around a ring.

H I S T O R Y:Okay, well here goes. Grant's mother died from a cancer she had no idea she had. Before his fathers accident Grant his family were very close and respected each other's life choices, though his father did not respect Grants wishes. His brother was into forensic science and Grant was always into music and horse riding, though his father didn't appreciate this. He wanted him to follow in his footsteps, become a military officer. When Grant was 15 he oversaw a herd of wild horses being captured and felt he needed to do something to help them. He asked his father laws about wild horses and gathered information before sneaking out at night and attempting to rescue them. His brother ratted him out to his father and he chased after him. Grant had sneakily managed to free the herd without getting caught but a mare had been kept away from the others. His father entered at this point. They worked together to distract the wranglers and free the horse, but they had guns. His father was shot in the back, paralyzed from the waist down, and Grant was shot in his lower abdomen, but wasn't paralyzed. The mare allowed Grant on her back and surprisingly didn't buck him off and the horse Grant rode there on carried his father. His family gave Grant nothing but looks of disappointment, and his father wouldn't speak to him. Unable to handle the situation he was in Grant packed up his stuff and ran after he was let out of the hospital. The mare followed Grant and wouldn't leave to be with her herd, much to Grant's dismay so he trained and named her; Epona. Where he lived in Washington D.C, Grant fled to Michigan to live with his Uncle Mike and his family. His uncle didn't really contact his father all that much and when his father contacted them he denied even knowing that Grant had run away.

Other little tid-bits of information about me. I drive a 1967 Chevrolet Impala. Mike bet me $50 to see if I could fix up the car for him in under a week, and I did. So he gave me the fifty, and the car. Sort of a house-warming present. Talking of houses, I live here with my Uncle Mike and his family. It's kind of small, but nice. Abbie has her own bedroom and I have this one, though I did attempt to stay out of the way and stay in the garage. My dog stays in my room too, its his safe pace from Abbie. Mike also own a barn where he keeps the family horses and Grant's horse Epona stays there too. I own and pay for my own iPhone 5, and I usually have this protective case attached.

N ∆ M Σ:Epona's Song. Grant loves video games, his favourite being the Legend of Zelda series. He's always loved riding around on Epona's back and knew when he saw Epona the very first time that the name suited her. He has trained her to recognize and go to Grant when ever he plays Epona's Song on the ocarina, and so her show name commences.
N I C K N ∆ M Σ:Epona.^ Explained in the paragraph above. ^
∆ G Σ: Five. Epona has been on this earth for five whole years.
G Σ N D Σ R: Mare. Epona has all the necessary parts to be a mare.
R I D Σ R: Grant MacKenna Taylor.
D I S C I P L I N Σ: Show Jumping and Cross Country. Epona doesn't particularly like Dressage, since she doesn't like being cooped up anywhere; she prefers to be running freely in a field or jumping around. That's what she's good at and loves.
P Σ R S O N ∆ L I T Y: Brave, Stubborn, Free-Spirited, Wild, Protective, Cheeky. Epona is often a very cheeky mare around Grant. She trusts him and vice-versa but she does often steal his apples or his jacket if she can get a hold of it. Their relationship is a very close one and hardly anyone can get close to Epona if she doesn't like them or if she's in a mood. Epona is extremely protective of Grant him of her. At shows in the past many people have offered to buy Epona and the money even reaching billions, but Grant never accepted. He didn't want Epona to be anyone else's, and he's pretty sure she doesn't want to be anyone else's.
S H O W - N U M B Σ R: Three hundred and ninety-four. Epona has a blanket that is usually her stable rug that has her show number attached to it. It's also the number they were given at their very first competition together.
Σ X T R ∆: Grant uses English tack when training but Western tack when leisure riding.
