Wade grinned as he poured a drink for the girl in front of him.
She smiled devilishly in reply before raising her glass to her lips.
He jumped as a hand clapped down on his shoulder. His head swiveled to the left and he saw Josh standing next to him.
"Hey, man, what's up?" the DJ asked.
"Actually, I'm kinda confused and... Yeah. Okay, so apparently my roommate is a chick and she's really young and I think I saw her naked or in her underwear or something - at least not fully clothed- this morning-"
"Woahwoahwoah. Stop." Josh interrupted the blondes rambling. "What do you mean you 'think' you saw her? Either you did or you didn't."
Wade licked his bottom lip. "I was half-asleep and out of it... Anyway, I think she works at the cafe. I passed it on the way here and I think I saw her in there."
Josh bent down to grab a water bottle from the mini fridge under the counter. "You said she's young- you think she's one of those teens they hired?"
"Yeah, it looked like it," he said as the girl that he had recently given the drink to got up and left, obviously sick of nobody paying attention to her.
He watched her go with a frown as Josh continued the conversation. "When do you get off work again?"
"I'm supposed to get off at 3, but that never works out. What about you?"
Josh took a sip from his water bottle. "I start at seven, but I have a playlist running until then," he said as he reminded himself to check the time. "I gotta run, so see you later. And good luck with that waitress," he said, waving and walking out of sight, eyes on his phone.
Wade gave a bored sigh and leaned forward on the counter, hoping for a hot girl or coworker (better yet, both) to take a seat and start a conversation.

Personality: Hmm, well firstly I'm a huge bookworm and I'm very smart, so I guess I'd call myself a nerd? Yeah I'm a nerd. Yes I'm one of those chicks who wear glasses and reads or studies in her spare time. But hey my glasses are cool! They are those stylish ones that everyone wears without lenses but I need glasses when I read and sometimes I wear them when I'm not reading simply because I look good! Anyways I'm not exactly a shy person, I'm an outgoing girl who's cheerful and social but when it comes to the guys I like I get all nervous and quiet. But I can flirt when I muster up enough courage and I'm not bad at flirting as a matter of fact! I've been told that I'm funny and really nice. I love to help people and I love it when someone smiles because of something I did or said. A trait of mine is determination and man do I got it hard, I have to finish something whether it be right or wrong no matter what, sometimes it becomes a bad trait of mine though, depending on the situation. I've got a mysterious side that keeps people guessing but otherwise I'm totally open and easy going. I can be a party girl when I want to be and I'm not afraid to have a little fun...or a lot! I have a lot of curiosity and I'm very gentle. My flaws are that I don't get mad often but when I do I get pretty scary. I have a fiery temper and I'm REALLY clumsy and I can trip over anything. I blame myself all the time for things I didn't do. I have this weird thing that if I do something bad I'll say sorry over and over again. At times I can be a bit pushy and I wear my heart on my sleeve, this means that if I'm upset or sad I'll hide it and refuse to give up and just say, "I'm fine, really!" and I'm a big risk taker but when it comes to heights I become weak.
History: No, I don't have any sad story and I'm sorry if you are disappointed. I grew up a normal girl with a family, I have my Mum and Dad and then my two Brothers Jaden and River. They are both older than me and were all protective of me so basically I had NO personal life. No boyfriends because if a boy asked me out they'd attack them and scare them away. My mums is a teacher and she's a natural child manager. My Dad's a Doctor and he's awesome! Anyways I grew up with a loving family and I was a had good grades, straight A student and I was dux of my school. During every summer holiday I wanted to do something, you know, something every teenager gets at summer break. I wanted a job or just an adventure and when I got the brochure I packed my bags and left. I still live with my parents and once I save up enough I'll get my own apartment.
Job on the boat: Well I'm a waitress at the cafe' and I take shifts in the bars as a barmaid or bartender, whatever it is.

Likes: I love book's and reading, I'll read any book, I also love the beach and waves, the feeling of sand on my feet and the sound of the waves and I like to surf. I love music and everything about it! Hmm, what else? Well I love the stars and the nights when they are as bright and clear as ever. I play the piano so I also like that and writing my own music,I can sing and I have a very good voice and I like to write my own songs and music. I've got a big sweet tooth and wherever I go I'll have candy and sweets on me whether it be in my bag or anywhere. Hmm, I'm an animal lover and I love Summer, who doesn't I mean seriously, your hair gets lighter, your skin gets darker, the water gets warmer, drinks get colder, music gets louder, nights get longer, life gets better. Haha, that's my favourite quotes! But I also love all the other seasons, especially winter when snows falls, in autumn I love all the colours of the leaves, the oranges, the red and yellows and pinks. And of course spring when the flowers bloom and it's perfect weather for reading outside! Anyways behind all of it I really love to party. Dance, Stay up late and just party.
Dislikes: Hmm, well I hate heights and I have a terrible fear of them. I can't draw to save my life and I failed art in high school XD The kind of people I don't like are stuck up people who lie and cheat and are just plain rude. I hate people who don't keep their word and then stab you in the back and who blame other people for their own mistakes. I also don't really like slimy things, they creep me out and I'm petrified of sharks even though I love the water.
Hobbies: I like to read in my spare time, listen to music, swim, surf, eat sweets.
Watch the stars at night and when its winter i love to run around and roll in the snow. It's cool cause my hair gets all specked with white.

Unlike the majority of the other workers on the ship, Halle McKay didn't have a choice in what she wore on the job. Every lifeguard on the ship was forced to wear the same thing. All girls on the job were to wear a bright red, one-piece bathing suit. It wasn't exactly common for a teenage girl to go wimming wearing anything but a bikini. However, she didn't have a choice in this matter. Without complaint, Halle wore what she was told to. She scraped her black hair back into a high ponytail, convincing herself that she was ready for her first day on the job. To complete a lifeguard's uniform, you needed a very specific clothing article that most associate with a gym teacher. A whistle. The whistle given to her was small and solid white, fitting along a leather strap. She slid this lovely piece over her head and left her room, completely oblivious to the fact that she had a roommate.
It didn't take long for her to find the pool. Frankly, following the trail of small children in water rings and bright colored swimwear made it easier than Halle had once anticipated. As she encountered the body of water, an odd sensation came over her. It wasn't excitement or even fear. But anxiety? All she could determine for sure was that she was nerveous. She had never had actual job before and she wasn't sure what to expect. However, before she realized what she was doing, Halle found herself sitting in the lifeguard tower.
Unlike the ones at the beach, this one was fairly short. She could see the entire pool area from where she was sitting, but it wasn't so high up that she'd have to jump a long way to do anything. This seemed perfect at the time. Her only concern now was her actual job. Saving people. As long as no one did anything stupid, she'd be fine. However, after seeing how most people behave on this ship, she couldn't guarantee anything. She swallowed, looking below her.
Leaning back in her chair Halle could only hope that everything would go smoothly today.

"Hello everyone. I guess this is where I tell you about myself. I'm Avery Rose Bexly. My name, Avery, is actually of French origin. This doesn't make sense of course because if you haven't quite placed the accent yet, I'm from the UK. And I have a french name. Ah well. Anyways, Avery also means the courageous one. That doesn't really apply to me. Thanks mum and dad. In case you were still confused why I'm named Avery, its after my great great auntie Avery, who was born and raised in france. My auntie Avery was a very headstrong women. She 5 boys and she sure did whoop them into place. She was disciplined and wouldn't take no for an answer. So, my parents, being so inspired by her actions, named me after her, in hopes that I would be so independent, hardworking. And that didn't really happen. My personality is nothing like hers. But I'll talk about that later. Lets see my middle name is Rose. I was named Rose because that was my mum's last name before she married my father. And she wanted some sort of her family to be in the one she was going to be apart of with my father. So my middle name is Rose. My last name is Bexly. That's self explanatory. I was born in Portsmouth England, the largest island city population wise in the UK. I was born at 1'o clock in the morn. I was born at home, even though there were many hospitals in the city. She decided to give birth at home, because my mum was never comfortable in hospitals. She felt like people just didn't want to be there. They 'are rude and don't understand what your going through' she would say. And I would listen, when I was about 7 asking why I wasn't born in a hospital."

"As I was saying earlier, I was named after my great great Auntie Avery. But I told you I had a complete opposite personality then her. I am a very laid back person. Now that doesn't mean I'm lazy. I keep my room nice and pretty. My outfits are put together well for the most part. But if you insult me, bring me down, something negative or whatever, I don't care really haha. My mom just taught me to turn the other cheek. Your the stronger person if you just leave. Dropping down to their level makes you look stupid. I love to have fun. In Portsmouth, I went to about every party I could get into. Yeah I got drunk a couple times. But it was worth it. I just love meeting new people. I guess you could call partying a type of lifestyle I go by. Now I'm not that girl that gets so drunk she doesn't know which way is up, ends up having sex by the end of the night and never sees the guy again. I look for solid relationships with guys..but that will be later. I love to be sarcastic. It bugs some people, but hey, I'd rather have people love me for who I am then what I'm not. I'm not perfect, you can get that straight. And I don't strive to be. As I look at it, it's alright to screw up. Be spontaneous! Do something crazy for once. Or maybe a lot of times. Like I do. But I guess these are just the characteristics that describe me for who Avery Rose Bexly is!"

"I was born in Portsmouth, United Kingdom, but you knew this. Anyways, my family made a living by working with one of the big sea port companies. Those things are a big deal in Portsmouth. My dad was lucky enough to work there and then let alone become the CEO of it within 3 years of landing his job as a navigation officer for all the ships that came in. Since the sea port business brought in more then we needed, my mom could stay at home. She decided she wanted to teach me at home. It was sort of nice actually. I would go to school from nine am to one pm. I would do homework til about two in the afternoon. I got tons of free time. The downside of being home schooled was I didn't really develop a social life, besides all the children of the guys who worked for my dad and the sea port. However, when I hit about sixth grade, they held dances at all the public schools about every two months during their school year. The principal said I could go, sense I lived in that district. And I guess thats when my partying life started. I mean, I didn't drink at all. It was just dancing, music, and I made a lot of friends. I would always look forward to the next dance. I didn't start drinking til about my junior year in high school. And even at that, I didn't drink that much. Anyways, when I was going into my freshmen year of high school, my dad had gotten offered a job in the US. It paid much better then the sea port he had run in Portsmouth. And he would still stay as the CEO job. I wasn't all for the idea. I didn't want to leave all my friends here in Portsmouth, but my parents didn't really care about my opinion. So we moved to the US. My mom enrolled me into the high school in our town. And it was actually a great experience. It took me awhile to fit in, kids were sort of confused by the brit who was supposedly a big party animal. I didn't really show them that image, because I was shy and I didn't get a lot of the american slang you know? So then my first party in america I attend was about the end of the school year my freshmen year. And thats when I got a lot of friends. They had been waiting for this Avery you could say. I attained a lot of friends whom I hung out that whole summer and on til I graduated high school. And yeah..that about summarizes my life up until this moment."

"I am five foot ten and I weigh about one forty, one forty five ish. I know, I'm not the skinniest, best fit girl out there, but I love me for who I am. I have natural dark brown to basically black hair. Its naturally straight. Its goes down a little big past my belly button if you look at the longest tip. I really like my hair too. Its semi easy to medium hardness level to curl my hair. I have to used about 3 products for it to actually stay for a whole day. My eyes are a very light icy blue. I got those from my mom. Those are my favorite feature, just because its a big extreme from my darker skin complexion and dark hair. My style is comfy but cute clothes? So that's usually short short and a tank or yoga pants and a big sweatshirt and uggs. I also like to wear skinny blue jeans and a cute top. I only have my ear's pierced once and I have a little bellybutton ring i got for my sixteenth birthday from my friends. No tattoos, I just like how my skin looks as is."

"I love to party, thats at like the top of my list. If I didn't attend any parties in my lifetime, I would be boring, no friends, and probably inside sleeping all day. I also like dolphins. I think they are the coolest things ever. I have never seen one in real life but one day I hope to. I love it when my hair curls easy. My all time favorite, I love beach side parties during the summer. Glowsticks, skinny dipping, fireworks, guys, yeah that's my favorite of all time. My favorite color is Red. My favorite soda is Sprite. My favorite movie, or movies I would say would be all the pirates of the caribbean movies. Those are just the basic likes. Things I don't like...well I hate backstabbers. I've sadly met them in my life, one of them being a boyfriend I had for a whiles. I told him I had to move to the US, but we could keep what we had. And he just left. He wanted nothing to do with me. He even asked me why we went out in the first place. He was my first kiss, first actual guy I thought was genuine. And then he pulls this on me. I kiss guys at parties, I'm confident in my kissing abilities haha. I also hate hate turtles. They creep me out. I also hate spiders..but doesnt any girl??"
